Novoselic, officially the Kingdom of Novoselic, is a country in Eastern Europe. An island in the middle of the Black Sea, Novoselic was isolated for a long time with only a few visits in those times. That was until Adolf Hitler came to the island and they liked him so much that the country became fascist. The country is still fascist to this, day, and contains unusually harsh punishments. They support they idea that the Novoselicians are the greatest human beings to ever live, and promote the idea of the pure Novoselician. It is, however, not sexist, so both men and woman are equal. But they do hate 二形s, so I kinda lied.
History[edit | edit source]
The Kingdom of Novoselic was founded by several Germanic tribes from the western Germanic type who got bored of Germany and decided to move away from Germany. They first moved to the Balkans, whose languages influenced Novoselician. They then moved to an island in the Black Sea, and founded a settlement. To keep track of things, they adopted the Сугіггіс alphabet from new at the time Old Church Slavonic. They adapted the alphabet for their language, but to save time, they made their language Polysynthetic, and made all prefixes into suffixes. They then converted old roots into new suffixes. The Arabs nearly attacked them, but they defeated them, but Arabic still has influence of Novoselician. Sound like a good country? Well, Hitler went on a trip to Novoselic and the royal family liked him so much they adopted fascism as their official ideology. They are still fascist to this day despite it being hated by everyone. Also for some reason, they hate 二形s and some time traveling child.
Royal Castle and Family[edit | edit source]
The Royal Castle of Novoselic is large and impressive. It is where the royal family of Novoselic lives. The current royal family of Novoselic is the house of Nevermind. This is actually where Sonia Nevermind is from, but she got outcast for being a 二形. She reported the flaws of the royal family to other Novoselican speakers. Sonia reports that the castle is a labyrinth where it is easy to get lost in. Fortune tellers for the royal family must keep a Makango as a hostage.
Entertainment[edit | edit source]
Entertainment is mostly home entertainment, as amusement parks, casinos, and arcades are illegal. Most sports are illegal to do outside except in special parks dedicated to sports. They also have games of their own. One of them, which is their national sport, is counting how many times a Makango will multiply in the next second. Another one, called Makango Bolongo, involves spinning a Bolongo quite violently. Several other popular sports are Borongo Twisting, Makango Spinning and Makango Swinging. Novoselic competes in the Olympics, and is campainging for them to add their national sports as official Olympic sports. Video games are perfectly legal in Novoselic, but since they don't have an age-rating system, games are modified to remove all swearing and keep the rest of the content down to PG-13 ratings. The same is true for movies and TV shows, with one children's show, Sun Witch ♪ Esper Ito, being very popular and is watched by 90% of the population.
Economy[edit | edit source]
Most of the economy is ran by the military, as people are required to join it as soon as they leave school. Grade-school children can even ride a tank! Their two main specialties are wine and chocolate (the wine is actually grapes since alcohol is banned there). The military is also the police, and all crimes, even going to a formal event late, is punished by being shot.
