i thin kim genuinely braindead, couldnt make heads or tails of it and it seemed very simple. even begged chatgpt to do it for me but it logged itself out. Perhaps i was dropped on my head as a child. I thinkkkkkkk the multiple lines of css was being seen as a very naughty move by the preference page, and when combined into a single line obv it stopped working altogether. It constatnly shoved the 'SUBST:' in no mater what i changed, and its still in there as of right now (ffs). Oh i meant the css-laden version. it won't link properly, whereas this reverted version, while it still doesn't show up properly (per lionmaster's tutorial) in the preference page, (see: SUBST; forcefully appearing regardless of what i add or remove), it does work out in the end on the source code everywhere it was typed, which still confuses me as to why the css version didn't. I did the same exact thing for both buuuuut who knows. Im not gonna question it if its working rn tho. I think a part of the code being plastered ALL over was due to me failing to properly use the '~ ~ ~ ~' signature vs the {{User:MK/sig}}. a lesson learned hopefully, and much appreciated for the help!! yall are the best. Thank you for the vote for the Frodo article. I already edited much but it's a lost cause at this point. I sometimes forget that while things can't be too short (more than two sentences) but that's probably optional, things being long are definitely not going to survive. It boggles my mind that my Aragorn article actually got through a VFH. It's a good thing I never entertained the idea of VFH of my Godzilla vs Mechagodzilla page. what works and what doesn't work never really makes sense on here imo, I had thought that the longer the better but maybe there's a "sweet spot." Trying to balance comedy with reality is mildly tricky when the 'rules' are generally up to the feelings of others. OPOSSUM made a contest for the title of "Moccasin Man" because he's done with moccasins.Soviet's Bot won by putting the most moccasins on OPOSSUM's userpage.
US President RealDonaldTrump made Testing the VFH widget (again) (do not feature!), a page that was meant to test some new feature. Turb0 then voted on its VFH page, with many others including me and several admins voting. Because I think I'm sooo clever, I made a VFH page for the VFH. And because Turbs also thinks he's soooo clever, he made a VFH page for that, and a VFH page for that. Gergdown also contributed somewhat to the joke. Alula later deleted the test page and closed all of the nominations.

yeah, for sure! I'm guessing based off your userpage you would be a black chess pawn? I'll def make you one once my laziness bout subsides... also, don't worry about feeling like you're trying to 'get known', just keep editing, writing, participating, etc., and it comes pretty naturally. (or alternatively go wild in places like LPTEW or the ASWOBAAT series, that'll get you caught up with 50% of the current users real fast) :3
I DO make use of the in-built features inside photoshop (using either nanobanana pro or firefly 3) to get rid of text, watermarks, to help blend edges when im lazy, and to remove backgrounds or image subjects, but in general its just straight up stealing from existing MTG cards (i google "cool mtg card art" and just download a bunch), and then layer random cutouts, lots of smear tooling, and heavy utilization of the neural filters (specifically the 'harmonize' option). Afterwards, i go to the filter gallery to add artistic filters, and those are the real cheats becuase they unify the entire image with one click and make it look cartoony, or realistic, or what have you. All the cards so far are more or less 1:1 copies of cards that already exist on the MTGcardsmith website that i just yoinked for the good of Uncyclopedia. And if it's still really trash, there's always the option to beg an AI to "make it blend better" but i only fell for that in Turb0's early version of his card MKyap!FðllðwÐåmågê†råïl 03:51, 21 January 2026 (UTC)
it not AS complicated as it sounds, it took a bit to get the idea rolling, but once the character is chosen its just a matter of having fun with it: like so (the guy is stolen from DeviantArt and image traced in Illustrator teehee:
especially in the case of ones like DaniPine's card, the vector trace tool in Illustrator takes whatever slop i cobbled together in photoshop and makes it look like a really high quality hand drawn piece. For that one, i just slapped a png of a pine tree down, slapped a png of some roots, the uncyclopedia logo, a png of some glowy stuff on the base, and a generic background. A quick blur filter and cutout style filter, export, and then image trace in illustrator + the auto color tool to make it all look like it was natural. dirty, underhanded and sneaky, but dammit im lazy and I'm not going to spend more than 15 minutes photoshopping anythingMKyap!FðllðwÐåmågê†råïl 04:27, 21 January 2026 (UTC)

yeah! for the signature (and bc im to lazy to beg the admins to change my name), you'll need to make a new page with the name (in your case) User:Therealcmack/sig (sig can be sig1, sig2, sigX, sigY, whatever you want it to be. doesn't even have to BE sig, but that makes it easy). It'll turn into {{User:Therealcmack/sig}}. Mine is: User:MK/sig. Then, I'd advise going to look at some people's signatures to see how they did it with HTML. (NOTE: on any page, you can go to 'edit source' or 'view source' to look at the code behind it all, just be wary not to change anything if it's not yours). Go to User:Fish on skates/sig/impersonations, she has a TON of everyone's signatures twisted to fit her name (for comedic purposes). then you'll go up to your preferences, and on the first page there's a section called SIGNATURE, with a box under it. Check "treat signature as WikiText." then you type in: {{SUBST:nosubst|User:Therealcmack/sig|[[User:Therealcmack]]}}. User:L10nM4st3r/Making large signatures this is an article by one of the best coders on this site, its a good read if you're going to make a complicated signature, and helps explain how to do the signature in preferences. REMEMBER: the "sig" has to match whatever page name you made yours as (ie sig1, sig2, whatever). and last but not least, ALWAYS end any comment anywhere by tping in 4 enyes... enyas? like so: ~~~~ i can help with other questions too, like for my page, its mostly CSS styling to make it look like that. go to my page, hit view or edit source, and take a look, it should make some sense if you have at least a light understanding of css or html. I'd also advise going to [[1]], its a super useful course on css and html and will give you a solid base. "Newcomer" and Wikipedia sock puppeteer has finally gotten unbanned after socking and vandalism. Three months ago, Teh Epik Duck consistently vandalised talk pages, forums and encyclopedic articles before being banned by Alula for being a dick.

while I'm at it, I might show you this image I've been doing for ColonelKurtz. it's a still frame of File:Lawrence.gif.gif with Colonel Kurtz (from Apocalypse Now)'s face on it.
At the end of January, the server of en.uncyclopedia.co went down. This led a bunch of people (Alula, Fish on skates, Gergdown, Turb0-Sunrise, Soviet, and RealDonaldTrump), to join the spoon and discover that Spike is a sockpuppet of OPOSSUM. The spoon's LPTEW also received a spike in activity as everybody from the fork scrambled to figure out what the heck was going on. Fish tried reaching out to Alula through wplace about what would happen to the Top 10 voting, which was extended a day to account for the server outage. The construction tag deadlines on multiple articles were also extended by a few days too.
It all started when our resident potatochopper and weeb MK hid the edit buttons on her userpage so no one could edit it. I, thinking I'm so clever, found an actual use for the visual editor and used it to prove I could still edit. This escalated into a vandalism contest much like the one OPOSSUM held, and even spread to pages like her editnotice and her signature. This is what the userpage looked like at the end of the silliness.

This isn't a joke. We actually VFD'd an FA! Taylor Swift's "psy-op", an article[duh] created by alleged AI-writer Tranvit, has been fuckedbaleeted tossed down that super deep hole in Russia or wherever it is on VFD. MrX briefly lost his shit over it, before everybody seemingly forgot about it all. What were we talking about?
On LPTEW, Fish on skates started complaining about Turb0-Sunrise's constant edit conflicts. Both of them complained like 5-year-olds to DaniPine3, when ColonelKurtz decided to hold a fair trial, hearing both sides. Upon hearing both sides, Kurtz decided Turb0's description of the events wasn't detailed enough, at which point Fish threatened him. Hockey salmon was there too, for some reason. As with all court cases, it eventually came down to more angry five-year-old arguing.
