no, i'm talking about their general behavior, including but not limited to:

• having their first non-userspace edit be welcoming 17ATO, an account that is almost definitely wikicreator (notice the timing at which 17ATO responds as well)
• unilateraly declaring that CheetosR (who is, like 17ATO, almost certainly a wikicreator sock) was gonna be retiring or whatever (the CheetosR account did not say this ever)
• generally not having stellar grammar in their sentences, though they are readable (something that wikicreator does)
• literally being on the exact same /32 IPv6 range as five other confirmed wikicreator socks (on here) and no one else. seriously, you can go and check
• that edit you mentioned, obviously

oh, also: wikicreator has dozens upon dozens of socks on ?pedia as well who match this exact behavior and more. the reasons they're not being caught anywhere near as often as they should be is because 1: ?pedia admins don't have checkuser and 2: they're also all inactive 15:53, 10 April 2026 (UTC)

Yeah no, that just sounds like a bad idea. Bots on here should really only be used when you have the ability to supervise and stop it yourself. If you had needed it to be stopped at a time when there are no admins around then you'd be completely out of luck. 20:42, 8 June 2026 (UTC)

One suggestion that could work, make a page in your userspace with the js, css, or json content type (page info lets you change it, or just make a file with those extensions), then make the bot periodically (every 20 or so edits) check the content of the page, and if it's NOT empty, the bot stops. You could then write a simple script for your account that edits the page if you press a stop button on the bots userpage. UnGames:Wizards of Power MMORPG

I saw on your supposed 3rd sandbox (User:Alula/sandbox3), it says you want to fix UnGames:Wizards of Power MMORPG and UnGames:Unverse. If I'm correct, you put that there on 3 June and haven't done it since. Since the flood user right is bugged and doesn't hide your edits and I have a bot, I was wondering if I could fix it myself. I think the best way to solve it is to move the Zork header to something else without the Zork category, like "command line", so other UnGames can use it without being categorised into Category:Zork and add Category:Zork to all the remaining Zork pages. @Soviet: Zork has an insane amount of subpages. It will absolutely screw a lot of stuff up. There are approximately 1782 Zork subpages (exlucing the redirects), and my assumption is that each and every single one of those use the Zorkheader template. The number of pages using that header that isn't Zork is very likely way lower, which means that it's way easier to just create a new template that doesn't categorize pages into Zork and repoint all non-Zork pages to that instead. 19:41, 17 June 2026 (UTC)

I don't think there is any surefire way to prevent this kind of vandalism other than blocking the accounts and its associated IPs. Semiprotection could work, yes, but as Dani said it quickly becomes a problem if a new user wants to write something to him. And while an abuse filter could definitely be set up it'd probably require a lot of upkeep (and hit a bunch of false positives while we're at it, which sucks if it's set to block people). 01:47, 23 June 2026 (UTC)

Yes, but from my experience with this person before (it's the exact same vandal who was spamming stuff a couple of months ago) the contents of their vandalism and usernames varies wildly. Whether or not it’s the same vandal, the abuse filter has a narrow window of success and a wide range of false positives. And he would quickly realize it’s a filter stopping him and he would just switch off certain keywords. Temporary semi protection is your best bet. MrX blow me 03:15, 23 June 2026 (UTC)

Ok, so my understanding of this particular vandal is that they spam a lot and extremely quickly. That is essentially the same thing that the vandal we were dealing with in the beginning of April did as well. Their IPs are also all blocked on Wikipedia for being LTAs, which is a dead giveaway now that Wikipedia has the entire temporary accounts thing. 10:28, 23 June 2026 (UTC)

After switching browsers, I inspected element on the black bar and it says it's a "Snackbar" that appears on Chromnium-based browsers that shows quick messages. And apparently, * #content { background : #ff00ff; } is causing it because the asterisk (*) basically causing everything but the snackbar to be coloured.
