Images[edit source]
In the Bored of the Rings page, I know I would have never wrote "frameless" around the pic I made for that, and I just felt it needed an image for the top of the page like that, but when you wrote in "frame" that fixed the issue with the caption now showing up. But I don't know where the "frameless" came from unless it just automatically did that. I didn't even know that was a thing. Now I'll try it on some other pics I've had issues with. Nacky (talk) 21:14, 5 January 2025 (UTC)
- Oh I see what happened. It wasn't me, after all. Nevermind then, carry on. Talk amongst yourselves. Nacky (talk) 21:20, 5 January 2025 (UTC)
- @Nacky: that was probably Brogo. The guy has a tendency to turn framed images frameless - despite the numerous times literally every single active Uncyclopedian on here have told them they shouldn't do that. But the guy just doesn't listen. Then Brogo has the nerve to say we don't tell what the problem is whenever we revert their edits. πππDaniPine3 (talk)πππ 21:34, 5 January 2025 (UTC)
- In this case, he framed it, so that the caption would show up. I'm detecting that Alula was messing with him lol, he seems to know how to code things that I never knew about. I got that stupid cauldron gif to working on my page! Nacky (talk) 21:49, 5 January 2025 (UTC)
- Okay I went back through the edit history page of Bored of the Rings and it was Brogo who made the image as "frameless" and Alula who fixed it back to framed. The current/previous confuses my brain that goes into to/from mode and getting lost there. Nacky (talk) 00:37, 7 January 2025 (UTC)
- Yeah, i probably should've mentioned that. (Also my name is Alula, not Aula.) 01:25, 7 January 2025 (UTC)

Tranvit[edit source]
Hey so this user was caught using AI for his articles by Willy on wheels, to which ColonelKurtz asked the user if they were a bot, and I asked them if it was true they were using AI. However, they did not respond; and yesterday I caught the guy sockpupetting to create a new article. I warned them that doing that would get them banned, and they eventually left the sockpuppet. They also told me that they were only translating stuff from their home language to English, but wasn't generative AI, so I left them be. However ColonelKurtz is still suspicious that they might be using generative AI, and since we still don't have proper policies regarding that stuff, I was wondering if you could have something to say on the matter... πππDaniPine3 (talk)πππ 23:01, 9 January 2025 (UTC)
- I mean, i doubt they were simply translated through any sort of online translator, mainly because the grammar/language in their articles is way too good to simply be translated through one of those. But there isn't really any way to prove that they use AI to create articles other than the fact that an AI detector flagged all of them (which in case it wasn't obvious, isn't anywhere near definitive proof). 23:25, 9 January 2025 (UTC)
Jan Mayen[edit source]
Jan Mayen is off the coast of Norway. I hope this helped. --May (talk) 07:59, 13 January 2025 (UTC)
- Thanks, but i already knew where Jan Mayen was. I was wondering where the "Jan Mayer" that DaniPine was talking about is instead. 09:51, 13 January 2025 (UTC)

Could you fix the article Deepika Padukone with your American humour.MimicryBoss (talk) 14:01, 15 January 2025 (UTC)Shani
- No, i can't. A little because i'm not a particularly good writer, but also because i have no clue who the character that your article is based on even is in the first place.
- @MimicryBoss: Also, I'm pretty sure that Alula is Norwegian. OαΓΆαααα (addicted) 20:38, 15 January 2025 (UTC)

Please can I have flood again?[edit source]
I'm about to run the template remover script, and it's gonna be EVEN MORE spammy than last time, thanks to an optimization I have made to how it edits pages, as well as how it checks for pages to edit (now it will make very many more edits per second)) L10nM4st3r ROAR at me! / What my paws scratched 20:51, 17 January 2025 (UTC)
- Sure.
- Ooh I found a bug. Seems on some page (idk which) It triggers an infinite loop (waiting forever only for nothing to happen). Fun fact: This is why while loops are dangerous. L10nM4st3r ROAR at me! / What my paws scratched 21:06, 17 January 2025 (UTC)
- Did i fix it? Because i removed the template from the only place i could think of where it'd loop and i don't have the time to check if it worked or not.
- Nope an infinite loop was not tghe issue it turns out. Apparently my error handler (I probably hit a rate limit) was going to notify me with a warning (a variable named e), but there was no "e", it was "err". Whoops, not the first time Ive mispelt variable names. L10nM4st3r ROAR at me! / What my paws scratched 21:31, 17 January 2025 (UTC)
- Oh. Ok then.
- Ok I have removed all (explicit) uses of the template now. I will do a deep "cache purge". This is the most time consuming part. Sadly it will only update the list of templates the page uses when it is edited, the only merit of my old code.. I will automate the 4 stept to a successful template purge tomorrow, when I am not tired. I will probably fall asleep during this cache purge.
