What are some good hiking trails and mountains to visit over in the Presidentials? I've never been there before, but you're kind of making me wanna visit. OαΓΆαααα
(vandalize my talk page) 00:22, 15 October 2025 (UTC)
- I've actually never hiked up there, but i've read a ridiculous amount about them and have google street view on my side, and know basically the whole range like the back of my hand. Jewell Trail is the easiest way up mount washington, but Tuckerman ravine is way more scenic, if a bit harder. stay the fuck away from huntington ravine.the northern peaks have a fuckton of trails from Randolph, and some of the views are amazing. the Crawford path goes straight over the southern peaks, and it's a very smooth walk, and there's the great gulf, which is cool as fuck. Rant over. π»CUN Turb0-
SunSpookrise, Esquire π»07:01 11 3 '25 00:27, 15 October 2025 (UTC)- if you do go, bring full-on winter gear. it doesn't matter if it's july. the weather up there is bullshit. π»CUN Turb0-
SunSpookrise, Esquire π»07:01 11 3 '25 00:31, 15 October 2025 (UTC)- Back home in California, I've gotta say that Avalanche Gulch at Mount Shasta is a pretty cool place to hike. If you wanna have a snowball fight in the summer, you can do that too. Unfortunately, since CA is so big, it's like 500 miles away from my house.
 - Mount Shasta is 14,000 feet tall but I've only climbed 1,000 feet of that. Maybe I'll come back next year for a proper attempt. It'll be tough, but I hear that the summit passes are really cheap. And of course, bring full winter gear and snowshoes. And a big stick, I found those handy. OαΓΆαααα
(vandalize my talk page) 00:33, 15 October 2025 (UTC)
- Big sticks are always handy. support, move rocks out of the way, play baseball with random rocks, the possibilities are endless. π»CUN Turb0-
SunSpookrise, Esquire π»07:01 11 3 '25 00:37, 15 October 2025 (UTC)- Which is more versatile, big sticks or pool noodles? OαΓΆαααα
(vandalize my talk page) 14:52, 15 October 2025 (UTC)
- Big sticks, as they can be used for all things pool noodles can be used for, save cannons. π»CUN Turb0-
