Soviet's Bot renamed to
Sputnik
About a month ago, Soviet proposed making a second bot account to do stuff while his primary one was performing a very long task that could take days to get more work done, which Alula shot down. Before Alula shot it down, LPTEW came up with various names for the now-cancelled bot. This gave him the idea to give his main bot an actual name after learning that most bots on Uncyclopedia have actual names. For example, Fnoodle and Hymie the SpelChek™ bot. He proposed the idea on Forum:Let's give Soviet's Bot a name and had the great idea to ping everyone to help decide on a name. Several names were proposed, including "Soviet's Bot", "Botty McBotFace", and "Leon Botsky". The name "Sputnik", proposed by Noopnurf, eventually won.
Vocaloids invade the forums
Since HatsuneMiku changed their name, they've started roleplaying as virtual popstar Hatsune Miku in a similar way to how GoulashFan used to roleplay as Donald Trump. A new account, Adachi Rei, was created by MonkeyInMyFridge to roleplay as Adachi Rei, another virtual singer who recently got a Vocaloid upgrade. DaniPine3 had this to say: "first Hatsune Miku, and now this 'Adachi' girl? We're being taken over by Vocaloids!"
Musical Shenan7gans
Over on AIBOPAAT's slightly larger brother, some users have begun singing! In their edit summaries, they often sing popular (or not popular) songs with some lyrics replaced with the number 7. Fish on skates has compiled the random associated lyrics into a full song. The song, aptly titled I Would Walk 7 Dirty Birdbrain Rhapsodies To Take On Sgt. Pepper's 7 Diamond Army At The YMCA Hunger Flow, features several users and lyrical inspiration from many different musical artists. The song is still being expanded as I write. It seems the singing has stopped. Sad.
Server DOWNed
This is not a drill! Uncyclopedia had a server outage on September 6. On the Discord server, OfficialWatchOS7, HatsuneMiku and Ciencia Al Poder discussed the outage to fix it. Apparently, it was a problem with disk space. Soviet and HatsuneMiku have also gone to edit on the spoon to fulfill their daily dose of Uncyclopedia for a bit.
