Nothing bad, but it will display in Category:Pages with too many expensive parser function calls,, and I have created a new tool, which displays all pages inside of certain categories. @L10nM4st3r: I don't know much about it; all I know is that when I came to this wiki I found this article about some admin that was awful at coding and thankfully was banned before making the whole wiki function solely on this awful code (althgough not for that reason, but for a much darker one...), but sadly this awful code had reached already to many corners of this wiki. And ever since that, it has been my duty to get rid of thit; hence why I spent my first months here completely rewriting the code of most templates. @L10nM4st3r: I don't know exactly what makes it malicious, as I'm just an amateur with coding (as a matter of fact, I've never learnt to write code; I literally learnt by editing on Uncyclopedia); and if an average code looks undecypherable to me, I doubt I'll be able to read whatever garbage this former admin coded... Np. Thank you for telling me about this. I was kinda running out of things to do, and was on the verge of taking a long break like I did later last year (before I came back to make the wikimenu tools). I've spent the night thinking about the best way to test this script. There are so many ways it could go wrong, so I need to be careful, considering it would make multiple edits per second, and most of these edits would be unchecked for weirdness. And because I will be responsible for the tool, I'm going to need to set a few restrictions onto this tool. I will add them here as a checklist:

1. Prevent editing of pages from userspace, talkpages, forums, and other templates. Instead a manual decision should be made per-page that uses the template.
2. Hard-limit (make non configurable) the script to 3 edits per second
3. Check for the text {{FA|. If found, do not edit the page.
4. Double check the page being edited actually contains any of the templates being removed before trying to remove them.
5. If a page is full-protected, don't edit it (unless user has admin)
6. Make sure the user is either an admin, or explicitly added to an "allow list". This tool could wreak havoc otherwise.
7. When removing the templates, make sure any templates used as arguments are not touched (at least until after the parent template is removed). - done
8. Start small, only target a few templates to begin with, not all of them on the first run.
9. Test the script on 150 pages manually, before running it on "autofire" mode.
10. If the edits start going wrong during autofiring, have an admin ban me for a full minute to stop the script, I will be completely blind about what I am doing if you don't.
11. While autofiring, stop occasionally just to make sure it's not messing around.

If you think I missed anything, please point it out now. Even the small things. I mean it. I will not run the script until I'm sure it will work 100% of the time.

The first order of business is to make helper functions for what I want. Which is finding a template, grabbing the arguments, and turning it into good wikitext, and inserting it over the template. Depends. What exactly do you want to have? I have a few things on my todo list. But the restorer script (demonstrated on your talkpage's history, is also the tool where I had to test the thank button), as well as the move tools script, are the only ones which are direct improvements without any changing of how cool anything looks. The sidebar, if you really do want that, is still in development, and the template remover, I wanna integrate into the UI properly (which means either a sidebar link, or a tab link. Both can be done with minimal changes). And the editor screen enhancments, also under construction, but it isn't worse than the default edit screen, just a tiny bit of jank here and there, which is getting worked on (also not even close to feature-complete). If any of these catch your fancy, I can tell you how you can add them. Oh, and the sidebar is sticky, meaning it doesn't move when you scroll. That time was an accident. To add the scripts, you CAN copy-paste, but it won't get automatic updates when I change/break a script.

If you would like to mess with one of my scripts, just copy-paste some code to Special:MyPage/common.js. The code to copy is:

Then replace {SCRIPT NAME} with the name of the script. My tool scripts

I am about to make a breaking change, the tool scripts may stop working sometime in the next 10-30 minutes. I am currently working on a redesign on the code, meaning it should load faster, and the code should be cleaner. You will also have to change how you import the script. Instead of importing both scripts separately, you will need to import the core script. This will offer lots of convenience for me while making updates, and will also optimize loading times and power consumption for mobile devices, by only loading what's necessary to load. (example: not loading the editor when just viewing a page).

Ok, I am going to take a break from messing with the scripts. And when I do get back to it, I will edit a copy of the script. Also if you want to view the docs, here they are. Also I want you to see if you can figure out how to disable the sidebar, just so I know that the settings have been described correctly. So a short bit ago, I tried to create a tag for my tool

Yea, so apparently just creating the pages isn't enough. I need an admin to actually add the tag, as this says. Could you create a "wToolCore" or "wTools" tag please? It basically allows me to replace that message at the end of edit summaries using the tool, with an actual tag (an example of a tag is the "undo" tag.). New optimization update

I have optimized the script for loading speed and file-size. The tool should load slightly faster now, and it doesn't use caching like it did before. Instead of caching a file, the script is replaced with all the code, instead of loading the code seperetly. This also allows me to trim the code down by removing a whole bunch of crap such as indentation. Giving users permissions

¿Qué tal? To change someone to a confirmed user (same as autoconfirmed) or extended confirmed or other permissions, there is a button (for admins) on the left side of the page under Tools that says "Change user groups". It shows up when you're on a user page or user talk page (and maybe when you're looking at someone's contributions). Also, if someone is having trouble with the abuse filter, it's usually best to give them confirmed rather than go straight to extended confirmed. Let me know if you have any questions. Cheers. You seemed mildly interested in this mc server I play on. Something interesting happened today. I created a vault to hide the dragon egg (minecraft's rarest item), and somebody tried to break into the vault. You wanna know how long it took them to break in? Consider the fact this is a modded server, and one of the mods has a bug where if you die in a few certain ways, you get keep inventory. And you got pickaxes and armours which give fire resistance and immunity to mining fatigue (makes mining slower). They took 10 minecraft days trying to get into my vault. That is the equivalent of 5 real world hours. If it weren't for the mods, it would have taken them at least 10 real days, with the progress they were making. Do you wanna opt in to this? All you gotta do is add User:C.A.T 3000/archive to your talkpage. It basically archives discussions in your talkpage automatically, and is very configurable. Yes, %(counter) is replaced with a number.
How it works, is it starts at the counter parameter you input, then it checks that page to see if it exists. If it doesn't, it creates it. If it does exist, it increments the counter and checks the next page. If that page exists, it keeps going. Then once it finds a page which doesn't exist, it will check the previous page. If that page is smaller than the "maxArchiveSize" parameter, it will archive the messages to that page. Otherwise, it will create the new page.

You're messing it up

@DaniPine3: I was making a system for the extended confirmed templates so that people would understand which template is which. However, you changed the disambiguation page for the extended confirmed template(Template:extended confirmed) to redirect directly to Template:New_extended_confirmed. When a user would want to use the extended confirmed user template, they wouldn't know the name, but If they typed in "extended confirmed" they would get the welcome for some reason instead of the userbox. Star Rating System

I wanted to ask if I could get your permission to implement a star rating system for articles on the wiki, similar to how the Trollpasta Wiki does it, like mentioned in here. The idea is that articles would be rated from 1 to 5 stars by users, and if an article consistently receives mostly 5 stars, it could be considered as a potential featured article. Conversely, articles that mostly get 1 star could be reviewed for quality or possible deletion, especially if they are unintentionally poor.

Obviously, this is a mega-important site-wide change, so I guess I might need even higher approval. The problem is that I'm not really accustomed to trying to get high-level changes approved, so you'll probably need to walk me through it. Thanks. talk 04:12, 18 May 2025 (UTC)

But, just saying, I tried to upload American Economy, an article by Schism which was huffed, onto the other uncyclopedia (gasp, betrayer!) and this mod spike wrote a whole PARAGRAPH on exactly how stuff could be improved. Here they write "huffing. bad article, no humor." and be done with it. Hi, I saw that you huffed my post and felt like leaving a minimal note here.

Although it might have been such content that could be QVFD'ed, imo saying "wtf is this" is going too far, because what I've posted was a cartoon on what's actually happening on the Japanese Uncyclopedia (which is NOT a complete nonsense or whatsoever).

So the point is: I won't resist on your deletion as long as it is based on the policy of the English Uncyclopedia, but saying wtf on my work is just not something that you should say upon a good faith Uncyclopedian from abroad, and thus would like to have a due respect (even though it was AI generated).

Regarding “Nose Drake”

it was the article you deleted that consisted of a bunch of templates and a one liner. i message you rn to say i very much disagree with the premise of your deletion being “patented nonsense” as there was an actual intended joke. the “joke” is that the page contains a billion templates talking about how great the page is that you are about to read, only for the actual content of the article to very clearly not live up to what was promised. i’ll admit i may have moved it out of userspace a bit early as i was not finished with the article yet, so it may have have looked like complete nonsense, but i can assure you it was all at least calculated. you can probably guess by now that i would in fact like the page restored if that’s possible. if you do not want to restore Nose Drake i’d at least like it back under a user subpage for further works. thanks for understanding

Short answer: Read this and this. Long answer: Download the Nightly Release of Kristal. After that, go to C:\Users\<YOUR_USERNAME>\AppData\Roaming\Kristal\mods\ .
