For nominators: DO...

  1. Find articles that suck by checking here, here and here. Many articles avoid the police for years before someone trips over them.
  2. Read Uncyclopedia's deletion policy to make sure the article is eligible. If you abuse VFD you will be abused with the claw-end of a hammer, Jon Hamm style!
  3. Check the page-history! It may have been vandalized or just edited by morons. If so, find a better version and revert to it.
  4. Add {{vfd}} to the article. Failure to do so may result in hemorrhoids. You have been warned.
  5. Vote and include a comment as to why you have nominated the article.
  6. Only nominate one article per nomination. Subpages don't count.
  7. Please keep joke nominations at the bottom and try to not overdo them. Joke nominations should be indicated by the "Joke Nomination" template.

For voters: DO...

  1. Edit the section for the article you are addressing.
  2. Pick a space under the appropriate heading (Keep, Delete, Comment), adding your sig/comment, preceded by a #, like so: '''#'''This article isn't funny. ~~~~
  3. Remember to sign and timestamp your vote with four tildes. Unsigned votes will be removed and their owners defenestrated. You have been warned, again.

For Administrators: DO...

  • Allow 24 hours before closing a nomination or deleting an article.
  • Remove and archive closed nominations from the voting page.
  • Delete any unused images from deleted articles. If necessary, check what links to the article and remove any backlinks. Delete any broken redirects left behind.
  • Add {{Oldvfd}} to the article's talk page if it is kept.

@DaniPine3: could it be turned into a section on an article about The Smiths? I see what you're saying and its a solid joke, buuuuut it could work better as a section in the main article The Smiths with that title as its title. @MK: the problem is that the article on The Smiths has nothing to do with the band (which I'm guessing is part of the joke). And there is no article on Morrissey; it's just a redirect to this article. I guess I was thinking of a rewrite of that existing Smiths article, as it is a hair away from being on VFD itself, and making it about the band vs the Matrix guy. Honestly, could just move the existing Smiths article to a new article about the Matrix (as most Matrix articles genuinely suck), and then have space cleared for an article about the band. Yeahhhh, the article references how it's not talking about the band, but that doesn't make it any less dog-water. Right now this IS funny, but def feels like a userpage type of thing as clearly nobody else got the joke, and to them its just an image with no context.   • @MrX: although I agree the "Tourette's syndrome" article could be way better than it is now and use more jokes aside from the stereotype of cussing, apparently "Tourette's syndrome" became since its conception back in the 2000's somewhat of an Uncyclopedia in-joke and maybe it'd be weird to have it suddenly drastically changed and its contents moved to a completely different title. Well, one quick look at the category Uncyclopedia injokes shows that there are a lot of articles that are technically labeled injokes, meaning that simply being labeled injoke is nothing special.
