Strong Against - I don't know if it's just me, but I honestly don't think you made this; rather, I think you just took it out of a history book or a website somewhere. Even if you DID create this image, it still isn't funny. *Flumpa 21:14, 19 May 2008 (UTC)
Against - Now now Flumpa. Let's not throw around the "you didn't make that!" sentiments. Let's just stick to the straight up facts: This image isn't humour. Mhaille was able to craft a wonderful article about Anne Frank. You were able to make me vote against your image because it isn't funny. -- TheZombiebaron 02:41, 20 May 2008 (UTC)

Abstain - I don't get it, so I refuse to vote against until Ithsword at least tells us why it's supposed to be funny. -- Kippy the ElfTalkWorks☃ 03:14, May. 20, 2008
Ok ok...the circle of people i hang around with found this funny, but I guess that was because the source pic for the body is a friend of ours. But i really did make it.--Ithsword 03:52, 20 May 2008 (UTC)
I get it, but I try to avoid voting on 'chops that have passed through Reefer Desk, either for or against (I have a reoccuring nightmare that I say how well done a pic is there, then I vote against it here, which causes no end of dream drama. Aren't neuroses fun?). SirModusoperandiBoinc! 07:48, 20 May 2008 (UTC)

Abstain, I encourage everyone to vote against this. It is terrible. Not funny. Poorly executed. Memey crap. I, however, cannot bring myself to vote against something that I spent time and effort creating. This was never meant for the Main Pages - it was just a simple requested image. -- TheZombiebaron 02:37, 20 May 2008 (UTC)
Yeah, you're right. I didn't consider it to be memey crap when I nominated it. -- Kippy the ElfTalkWorks☃ 03:00, May. 20, 2008

Weak Against - Wikipedia pisses me off as well, but the image should be better quality. How? I dunno. Wait for Zombiebaron to tell you. -- Kippy the ElfTalkWorks☃ 08:10, May. 25, 2008
Against. First of all, it doesn't look like urine. Second, Wikipedia is floating, how did that happen? Third, the perspective between the statue and Wikipedia/waterfalls doesn't match. Fourth, there's icky white stuff around the Wikipedia logo. Fifth, it's not really that funny. Something pissing on Wikipedia? Nah. –SirSkullthumper,MD(criticize•writings•critchat) 22:02 May 25, 2008
Super Against Normal against per Skull's comments, extra against for Tuganax's pathetic attempt to explain. -RAHB 06:36, 26 May 2008 (UTC)
Against - Yeah...you may want to read the wikipedia article to clarify this, but when white stuff comes out of a penis, its probably not urine. -- TheZombiebaron 23:53, 26 May 2008 (UTC)
Nom and For This picture just struck my funny bone right. In my opinion, this is one of the better MS paint jobs, which was obiously used to make a point, and isnt just a jumble of scribbles --MoonzeppelinMUN 01:02, 24 May 2008 (UTC)

Two Things First, the humor is text based. Second, the humor isn't insanely funny (other than the "hanging out to dry" bit, which only elicits a chuckle from me, but does give me an idea for a different photoshop job). Also, I think we have enough "so bad, it's good" images featured. -RAHB 06:10, 24 May 2008 (UTC)
Against - Well, its not really "text based", but only because I can't read the text. Which is probably worse. -- TheZombiebaron 23:56, 26 May 2008 (UTC)

Then nominate an article, not an image. There's a reason this is "vote for picture." -RAHB 07:10, 25 May 2008 (UTC)
Against Hopefully it's funnier in context. Also, I don't think that's a Warhol. If it was, it would be more of a cross between pop culture and pretentious. SirModusoperandiBoinc! 09:09, 27 May 2008 (UTC)

Well... The photoshop job is very nice, but the pic just isn't funny. -OptyCSucks! CUN14:33, 24 May
Abstain: not a particularly humourous image, I can, nonetheless, not bring myself to vote against that into which I have invested that most precious resource of all — time itself. I do, aswell, rather like the image's other merits, which, sadly, have nothing to do with the merits that I look for in a featurable image. -- TheZombiebaron 19:18, 24 May 2008 (UTC)
Per Led. Also, what did you even edit? Some steam lines and a touch up on his hat? Hardly worth your time, even if it only took you 15 seconds. -RAHB 04:06, 5 June 2008 (UTC)
Oh I see now. You put in the rasta hat (with noticeable shitty chop-ups all around it) and thought that was clever. Stop nominating your own shitty images please, and while you're at it, actually vote for them when you nominate them. -RAHB 04:07, 5 June 2008 (UTC)
Against. Unless I'm mistaken, RAHB, Bobofosho didn't make this. Still, I blame him for nominating it here. SirModusoperandiBoinc! 11:00, 5 June 2008 (UTC)

Against; the flamingo looks out of place. Please move it over to the left. And, while you're at it, add a shark. -- TheZombiebaron 01:50, 7 June 2008 (UTC)
For Don't listen to what ZB said about the shark. It looks much better without one. Perhaps a gnome... -RAHB 03:20, 7 June 2008 (UTC)
The true irony of this image, of course, comes from the fact that Nietzsche never cut his own moustache this way; his sister would shave it in this fashion during the last ten years of his life, when he was in a vegetative state. Many of the images we have today of Nietzsche were commissioned by his sister.
Although since this photograph recently surfaced many experts have attempted to take this as a self-portrait indicative of Nietzsche's academic frustrations (as supported by the presence of a camera in his hand), the facial hair suggests a later date.
Against; I'm not even going to touch the texty-basededness of this image, directly. First off, the head. People don't have black borders. Same goes for the mustache. The there's the matter of the different coloured text on the shirt (plus, the fonts don't quite match). So, yeah. (There is, of course, also the matter of the texty-basededness...) -- TheZombiebaron 17:26, 6 June 2008 (UTC)
Against. Eh? Sorry, I don't get it. Reasonable moustache though... MrN 17:29, Jun 6

Abstain This version won't make American Bastard roll in his grave. Or maybe it will. Meh. ~
Against. While leaving whatever humour there is aside (and there is some humour, don't get me wrong), the quality of this image is terrible. While I'm glad that you took it to the Reefer Desk before selfnomming it, Nezlr, the fact that you would make the statement "The shadow will be added" and then add no shadow takes away from the purpose of the Desk. And, while your in a good image manipulating software adding shadows, just redo the whole image, so that its smoother (use the "Blur" or similar tool/filter) - it shouldn't be that hard, if you could do it in MSPaint, it'll take you no time in better program. -- TheZombiebaron 00:30, 7 May 2008 (UTC)
Against - Per Zombiebaron. It would be SO easy to make this 100x times nicer looking. I would vote for it in a heartbeat if you redid it with smooth stuff and added a shadow! - UnIdiot | | Talk | Contribs - 00:58, May 7
Against - I love it, but it could be so much better if it was at least somewhat realistic looking. I'm keeping this against vote until it is improved. SirCs1987UOTM.t.c 06:38, 8 May 2008 (UTC)
Against Per those guys, though I do find it bizarrely funny. It could probably make feature with some work. -RAHB 06:49, 8 May 2008 (UTC)
Against I tried really hard but I just don't find it funny --Sgt. Fluffy 17:01, 28 May 2008 (UTC)
Against I don't see where the bulk of Zombiebaron's complaints come from. Although I don't claim to be nearly as experienced as him, the image is a cheap hack job and it looks like it's supposed to be just that. But I can't in good conscience vote a cheap hack job to be featured, unless it's done a lot smoother like the Bermuda Triangle. Just redo it. --Pleb SYNDROMECUNmedicate(butt poop!!!!) 06:09, 29 May 2008 (UTC)

I added the shadow like everyones been nagging me to do. however i had to change it around. please keep it how it is now.
At least he didn't pirate a copy like some consummate thieving magpie I could mention. But yeah, the shadow isn't right. It's wrong. I'm no art student, but I am a math student so here's my advice: print the image upside down, draw where you want the sun to be on the paper, and then draw lines from the sun to the boat to the water. There's your outline of a shadow. --Pleb SYNDROMECUNmedicate(butt poop!!!!) 06:14, 29 May 2008 (UTC)
see, all of you complaining. i suck at photochop. thats why i didnt do the shadow. i couldnt do it very well. I knew youd switch your complaints to the crappiness of it.
And i wasn't doing a hack job. i needed the pic for my article, i did it to the best of my photochop abilities. the cartoony part is what i think makes it funny. please quit complaining about the shortcomings because im not changing the image again. youll just complain about that. look at the picture. vote if it causes a lol and vote against if it doesnt. jeesh. ~ NEZLR 23:20, 30 May 2008 (UTC)
It was better before the shadow was added. I didn't notice the lack of a shadow before (or particularly care), but I certainly noticed the shadow in the wrong place. --15Mickey20(talk to Mickey) 16:48, 2 June 2008 (UTC)
