    On a related note, I do believe that is how writing actually developed: the earliest writing had picture-like symbols representing whole words.   • Probably invalid nom There are several other images of this on the internet. I'm guessing its from an online retailer or something. here is the same gnome a different angle. This image is identical to File:Mooning gnome.jpg which was uploaded in 2005 by User:Wiki Tiki God. Unless Wiki Tiki God took an image of said mooning gnome, some random person uploaded it somewhere else, and someone copied that image and re-uploaded it here, the image is not original. Even if it is, its still merely a 2-D copy of another work, which can't be copyrighted.
