“Imagine Dragons are the kind of dragons that I'd slay.”

~ Oscar Wilde

Imagine Dragons is a band consisting of 4 members as dragons. The members are Dan the Dragon, Wayne the Dragon, Ben the Dragon and Daniel the Dragon. Dan is the leader of the band. They started getting popular in 2011 with their breakout single, It's Time. American Authors stole It's Time in 2013 with their infamous one-hit song, "My Best Day Ever". Despite getting a fanbase, critics couldn't take them seriously and they absolutely dislike them because all of their albums sound like rock cliches. They have also been called the "Rock Maroon 5" as well.

List of albums[edit | edit source]

Speak To Me[edit | edit source]

Their first EP before they were signed. Kinda forgettable, to be honest.

Night Visions[edit | edit source]

The music video for Radioactive has a cute pink teddy bear fighting Spore-like creatures. There's also a song called Demons which is about someone who's fighting cancer. Unfortunately, this is their first album and it blew them up.

Evolve[edit | edit source]

Contrary to popular belief, it turns out they're not evolving with their music style at all. Believer is like Radioactive except in a different key. Thunder, however, is considered to be one of the band's worst songs to date. Congrats on this album being lifeless and commercially oriented!

Reception[edit | edit source]

Imagine Dragons have been considered by many to be the Nickelback of the 2010s. Unsurprisingly enough, the lead singer of that band, Chad Kroeger praised the band for its "innovative" sound. Meanwhile, on the other hand, Corey Taylor from the band Slipknot disliked the band so much that he called them the most shittiest band that ever existed in the world and would much rather listen to Limp Bizkit instead. At least Imagine Dragons revived arena rock...right?
