Barack Obama[edit source]
You beat me to it, thanks for the revert. Is Senz72 material for Ban Patrol? Only other contributions are new articles, one line apiece, on two high schools. Spıke ¬ 10:44 3-Jan-10
- I've put a warning on his talkpage. I don't think its anything too serious for Ban Patrol yet and Senz72 seems to have stopped editing anyway. MadMax 10:59, January 3, 2010 (UTC)
FlashForward[edit source]
My article was dumb, but can you suggest to someone to write it?
- Sure, I can list it on UN:REQ for you. I can also restore it to your userpage (User:Forseescalamities815/Flash Forward) if you'd like to continue working on it. MadMax 03:56, January 4, 2010 (UTC)

Mike Tyson[edit source]
Hi Max! Hope you had fun New Year start. I saw the Registered Users Only on the Tyson Page. Could you do the same for December 21, 2012, it's getting dumped on all the time. I created an area for "Bull Shit" but people don't use it.. humm!? I guess they're like me, and even think their crap is funny. Ha! Stay cool--Funnybony 19:02, January 5, 2010 (UTC)

Flying Purple People Eater[edit source]
Hi Max, who should be contacted to add Flying Purple People Eater to this template {cannibal}? Much appreciated.--Funnybony 17:49, January 6, 2010 (UTC)
It's unprotected so anyone is free to edit the template. I went ahead and added it for you. MadMax 17:53, January 6, 2010 (UTC)
- Man, you are fast. Anyone (like you) who knows the trick! Thanks..--Funnybony 18:05, January 6, 2010 (UTC)
Sorry if I mess up your page, but I'm taking a chance that you might dig this. I think it's AWESOME!!!

G-Rex[edit source]
Dude! I think this is funny. But what do I know? Any potential? I'm afraid to send to Pee or VFH, which is kind of like a pigs trip to the slaughter house. I guess I should be thankful that a page even sticks at all. That means it's "good enough". I'm glad you enjoyed the VDO. It's the only time I ever heard a Freddy Mercury song sung better than Freddy. I think Freddy would have really liked to hear that, had he been alive. U cool!--Funnybony 16:38, January 10, 2010 (UTC)
- Well I'm really not the best person to ask about that. :) I generally do maintenance and other tedious tasks but I did like it. I fixed some minor things, mostly adding links and punctuation, I hope you don't mind. I think it definatly has a lot of promise. MadMax 10:30, January 11, 2010 (UTC)
---Hi Max, every time I look at your edits I learn something. Thanks for the help and encouragement. I went ahead and made it as good as I could. Maybe anyone else can improve it. If it's good enough I hope someone will Nom it. But if it's good enough to stick is already good enough. BTW: Someone (not me) made a page on Soma, and I made some contributions. Then I saw it was huffed. If you give me a chance I'll try to salvage that page.. otherwise you have no Soma in Uncyclopedia (a sobering thought!). A while back I was given the chance but missed it. Where can I work on Soma? Thanks as always--Funnybony 19:08, January 12, 2010 (UTC)
- Apparently User:MrN9000 moved to your userpage (User:Funnybony/Soma) in October. Looking forward to seeing what you do with it! MadMax 19:10, January 12, 2010 (UTC)
---Wow!!! Thanks. They was on my face all the time, them glasses. Q: It has no discussion page, I wonder why it was huffed?--Funnybony 19:14, January 12, 2010 (UTC)
- I checked the discussion page but it had a single message from an IP which was basically vandalism. MadMax 19:18, January 12, 2010 (UTC)
---Hi Max, I'm about ready with Soma but can't find the link to upload the pictures. Is that suspended or something?--Funnybony 21:20, January 12, 2010 (UTC)
Yankees images[edit source]
While I understand the reason for your rearrangement, an important sentence association is lost between the two pictures that way I am going to try some different things. Also, I think the "antics" pictures are too small.
Thanks --
17:22, January 12, 2010 (UTC)- Oh sorry about that. Go ahead and revert my changes if you need to. MadMax 17:24, January 12, 2010 (UTC)
- Nope. Revert was not the right choice. Just some further development. I think you were on the right track: it looks much better now than before, thanks to your help. Thanks. -- 17:48, January 12, 2010 (UTC)
Soma[edit source]
Hey Max! I hope it's OK now. If so, how to get this page back on Broadway? Can you just do it? Thanks always--Funnybony 02:02, January 13, 2010 (UTC)
- Hi Max, here's what I did: I made a new page called Soma© which is think is a better name. So if you restate the Soma article, which is the same, then I'll just change Soma© as a redirect page. Is that OK?--Funnybony 05:02, January 13, 2010 (UTC)
---OR, vise versa. Make the page Soma a redirect page to Soma© which is a more absurd name for a celestial fiction. That OK?--Funnybony 05:26, January 13, 2010 (UTC)
- Jeez! What a guy!--Funnybony 14:51, January 13, 2010 (UTC)
---Max, a WWW search of Soma turned up a handful of bogus brands, and about a zillion pictures of Soma, the famous X model. So I got a decent picture of her and added an "Alternate Meaning" to Soma. Check it out and let me know if it's OK - kinda sexy, you know how bad that is!--Funnybony 23:27, January 14, 2010 (UTC)

Mike Tyson On Women[edit source]
"What I want in a woman is protection. Loyalty. Companionship. Loyalty, friendship, companionship, ferociousness. I want her to protect me, and have my back to the bitter end. If I have a fight, I want her to jump in. Even if I'm winning; even if she's ninety pounds. I like strong women—not necessarily a masculine woman—but I like strong women. I like strong, say a woman who runs a C.E.O. corporation. I like a strong woman with confidence—massive confidence—and then I want to dominate her sexually."---As stated in documentary film, Tyson. No need to change a word, he's great!--Funnybony 15:44, January 17, 2010 (UTC)

History of Great Britain[edit source]
Your reorg makes sense, as there was a lot in here other than history--but I hope you synch'ed with Romartus, who was sort of tasked (by Mr.N. and me) to salvage what he could from this in lieu of unceremonious deletion, in which direction the vote on VFD was headed. Spıke ¬ 23:14 20-Jan-10
- Thanks for telling me. I've left him a note on his talk page. MadMax 23:19, January 20, 2010 (UTC)
Did I mention how awesome you are?[edit source]
I'm sure I have. In-fact I have already given you my highest award and so have nothing further to offer. I guess all I can say is that I am really pleased that you are still around. When I look at RC I see you doing awesome things everywhere. I have noticed some trends in what you have been doing of late, such as adding semi-protection to more pages than was the norm in the past, and I really just wanted to say that I totally support this direction change. I think it's the right way to go. I think I'm starting to see this more from some of the other admins also. We sure as heck don't want no IP edits, but it is a fact that as the wiki grows some pages are better given semi-protection. Like you, I see no need to make any formal change to policy, but think that what you have been doing is very much the direction which Uncyc is best to go. Again, thanks for being you. MrN 00:06, Jan 21
- Well thanks. :) It's great to see you back around the place. I've really just been protecting pages I find that either have had vandalism go unnoticed for a long time or are high-level targets for IPs. You know, I really do think there should be semi-protection for featured articles at least. It breaks my heart just looking at Ireland these days... MadMax 00:22, January 21, 2010 (UTC)
Mr9000 lies, by the way. I gave you his highest award: an Uncylopedia-pattern'd Snuggie. And you are great, by the way. I'm pretty sure that you're a robot, programmed for doing stuff, trying to understand that human emotion called "love". Sir Modusoperandi Boinc! 03:28, January 21, 2010 (UTC)
Ummmmmmmmmmm[edit source]
You just merged TARDIS and The Retardis. Those are two completely different articles, dude. 23:42, 23 January 2010
- Sorry about that. In my defense, the main article (TARDIS) did say its official name was "Re Entry To Any Random Destination In Space". MadMax 23:49, January 23, 2010 (UTC)
- Ah yeah, I see how TARDIS also mocks the name like that. Maybe I'll move the other one to UnScripts, since that's basically what it is. 23:56, 23 January 2010
Spike[edit source]
It's understandable that you would want Spike to redirect to Spikes. But it was cute that it used to redirect to my user page. I considered it an honor! but nothing is permanent. Spıke ¬ 02:13 24-Jan-10
- I removed the links to Spike from mainspace so it should be an acceptable shortcut to your userpage now. MadMax 02:45, January 24, 2010 (UTC)
You mean you removed the redirect? I am once again honored. By the way, I use the Uncyclopedia search bar exclusively and wonder if there could be a shortcut for typing Special:Watchlist
all the time. Spıke ¬ 02:49 24-Jan-10
- I don't think its possible to make a redirect for special pages. User:Sannse or User:Spang might know for certain though. MadMax 03:01, January 24, 2010 (UTC)
Thanks. Hey, what happens if you delete the Spike redirect altogether? I can see that I'm going through the redirect now, but before, I didn't see anything. For example, typing Plectrum into the search bar (since we VFD'd the article by the same name) takes you to the user by that name. Spıke ¬ 03:07 24-Jan-10
- Typing SPIKE will automatically take you to your userpage, though not spike for some reason (at least when I tried it). Like Plectrum, it's a feature of the search bar. MadMax 03:10, January 24, 2010 (UTC)
Yes, that was how it worked. That implies that instead of redefining the redirect, it could just be deleted. Either way works. Spıke ¬ 03:38 24-Jan-10
- When I tried Spike, it went to the search page for me. I assume this is because its case sensitive. MadMax 03:41, January 24, 2010 (UTC)
You might be right. I had to go for all-caps because someone got to the username first a couple of years ago. Thanks for the investigation. Spıke ¬ 03:50 24-Jan-10

- Your edits, with due respect, weren't exactly constructive. The reason I reverted your changes was because you removed the coat of arms and replaced the flag with a somewhat inapproprite image. MadMax 12:32, January 25, 2010 (UTC)
- I'm going to replace the Cyprus satellite map (dunno what's funny about it) with cyprus.jpg , is that OK for you? camoka4
- That's fine. MadMax 05:14, January 26, 2010 (UTC)
- The article Cyprus is locked. Can you please lift the lock and replace the satellite map with cyprus.jpg ? Also I want to edit the article for Turkey . Thanks. camoka4
- I've added the map for you. As for editing Turkey, the page is closed to anonymous and new editors like yourself. You should be able to edit the page in time but, if you don't want to wait, you can talk to User:Mhaille about unprotecting the page. MadMax 11:03, January 26, 2010 (UTC)

Sondre Havneraas[edit source]
Hi mate,
You just deleted one of my master pieces. It was tasteful, informative, but most of all beneficial for the common norwegian. Was the problem that the article was written in Norwegian? Is that not allowed, or is it just some sort of 'code' I have to write in order for it to be approved.
Cheers,
Camilla
- The thing is this is primarily an english-language wiki. What you probably want is the Norwegian Uncyclopedia. I've restored Sondre Havneraas on your userpage (User:Misslebowski/Sondre Havneraas) and if you need help translating it into English you might want to check out Uncyclopedia:Foreign Office. I don't believe there is a Norsk section as yet but I'm sure the project would appreciate someone fluent in Norwegian. MadMax 02:09, February 1, 2010 (UTC)

Spang Archives Talkpage; End of World Expected Imminently
Award Winners Speak Exclusively to UnSignpost Well, there you go folks, looks like the "... of the Year" award voting is done and dusted for another year. Thanks to all who voted; without you, the admins would probably have less to do, which would obviously be dangerous. Anyway, that aside, your ever-topical Unsignpost went and mugged the various winners for comments on their various wins. Several of them, of course, have already made their feelings clear to those who voted for them by way of the traditional thanks templates. Apart from UU, because he's a lazy ass. Or because he's busy writing this. Whichever. Anyway again, for the benefit of those who didn't vote for the winners, and don't watch their talk pages, here's what they had to say: Runaway WotY Hype said: "Thanks, you guys!! If you'll permit me to be dead serious for the first time ever on the wiki, this really is an honor, and it's pretty damn touching that so many people came out in support of my work. Whew. Being serious felt weird. I feel... strange. BALLS BALLS PENIS COCK. Ah... there's the stuff!" He then went off to write another My Sojourn spin-off. Even more runaway PotY Sonje said: "Thank you, I intend to return as soon as I can. I am currently in Africa with very limited internet access. I'll try to time my return to co-incide with the Oscars so that I can get some pointers for my acceptance speech." Admittedly, that was before we asked her for a comment, but then, she is in Africa with limited internet access. Joint UotY Socky channeled Churchill to say: "*scrapes throat* Ahem! I would like to say to the community as I would say to anyone who joined this website: Uncyclopedia has nothing to offer but blood, toil, tears and sweat. We have before us an ordeal of the most grievous kind. We have before us many, many long months of struggle and of suffering. You ask, what is our aim? I can answer in one word: Victory. Victory at all costs — Victory in spite of all error — Victory, however long and hard the road may be, for without victory there is no survival. … That seems to be the wrong Churchill speech. Okay, I'll give it another try. *scrapes throat again* The gratitude of every home throughout the world, except in the abodes of the guilty, goes out to the British airmen and Belgian spies who, undaunted by odds, unwearied in their constant challenge and mortal danger, are turning the tide of the Wiki War by their prowess and by their devotion. Never in the field of human conflict was so much owed by so many to two people. And so on and so on… Woot! Woot!" Long-winded bugger. And other joint UotY UU said: "wow, Socky's already left me needing a lot of filler for the right panel, so I'll keep this shortish. First, it's good to see someone who isn't an admin get their hands on this award, and Socky's hard work deserves recognition. Second, it's great to have my complete lack of a life recognised in this way. Third, did someone say Spang's archived his talk page? What the fuck's that all about?." Oh, and Dr. Skullthumper was UGotY, but that was a foregone conclusion anyway. He didn't seem to have any comment of his own to make, so TKF hopped in to the breach with "I call the award a "fascist disgrace" and "move to permanently disbar Mike Socia, that ape from Lighting who made my mole visible to all of the goddamn world watching the ceremony."" Which about wraps it all up, I hope. |

Question:[edit source]
Can you make this page any better? I managed to save it from the ICU a week or two ago.
Category Add[edit source]
Can you add this page to the "cities" category?
Sidebar[edit source]
Hey Max, I've removed the link to VFD on the sidebar for two reasons: first, it's clogs up an already busy sidebar and second, we had that discussion already in the past (but for the life of me I can't find it) that we shouldn't add VFD to the sidebar since it will divert more people to the deletion pages rather than the writing oriented pages. Hope you're OK with it? ~ 20:27, February 9, 2010 (UTC)
- If it helps... Not even the price of pants thinks we need a link to VFD on there. I remember a time when I did mind. Then Mordillo fed me that special potion which makes you agree with everything he says... Yea, we have discussed this one a few times in various places if I remember. Basically, if you are not a registered user you can't edit it anyway, and voting on VFD is probably something best reserved for those who have been around a while (and as such have found it) anyway and have a fair idea of how things work here. Though it's fine for anyone to vote with VFH obviously, but VFD is kinda different IMO. MrN 21:50, Feb 9
Sure, that's totally understandable. MadMax 01:28, February 11, 2010 (UTC)
hey, im new and got a few questions[edit source]
I hope im doing this right :P... anyways im new with uncylopedia and i went through my watchlist and found your name on it besides a page called "die" witch i added to. Now i'm asuming that means you edited something i said. I just wanted to know if that's what it is. Plus that thing on the top of this page that says Hello. How did you do that, or does every page say that? I think i know how but i just would like some clarification. please respond asap and thanks! – Preceding unsigned comment added by Happymonkey39 (talk • contribs)
- I've edited Die a few times in the past though I don't think I changed anything you did specifically. This edit is the only one I made after yours which reverted an IP edit that blanked a section of the article. The watchlist generally shows the most recent edit, rather then every edit, since you last visit a page. As for the above message, it's a sort of template you can customize for a userpage. If you'd like to add one to your userpage feel free to copy it and fill in the text. MadMax 16:59, February 12, 2010 (UTC)
Thanks man. Appreciate your help :D
Question Answer[edit source]
Thank you for doing that. I thought the cat picture was pretty funny. Oh, thanks for adding Cartoon City to the cities category, but can you add this to the Grand Theft Auto category; Grand Theft Auto: Cartoon City. It's an article I fixed up back when I started my account.
Second Question[edit source]
Would my account be deleted if I removed a fix tag from a page? If I can, I plan to do so. Also, If I wish to keep a copy of a page, can I put the page on my user space?
- Sure if you're finished with it. Also you can save almost anything to your userpage. MadMax 19:57, February 12, 2010 (UTC)
Thanks, but how do you get a redirect to a certain page. I've tried to do a lot of things, but they just screwed up the page. Please reply.
--Gamma287 20:31, February 12, 2010 (UTC)
- To make a redirect, you type in #REDIRECT:[[Article name]] and save your edit as normal. When making a redirect, you should type in the current title of the article you want to redirect. Otherwise, you'll create a double redirect (for example, see here). MadMax 00:42, February 13, 2010 (UTC)
Expand Tag Removal[edit source]
Do I need permission from an admin. to remove the {{expand}} tag? If I do, check the article I am referring to.
--Gamma287 21:51, February 12, 2010 (UTC)
- I think as long as you make a decent effort, an author can remove an expand tag without permission. MadMax 00:43, February 13, 2010 (UTC)
Hi Max[edit source]
Forgive me for whoring on your talk page, but you did express an interest. Funnybony and myself are now working on Lord Christopher Monckton and Lord Christopher Monckton DENIAL. Should you have any input on these it would be very welcome. Both are still very much in the early stages and need lots of work still... :-) MrN 02:05, Feb 13
- Yikes! I forgot I left you a message about that. Sorry, I've been kind of busy recently so I haven't been online much in the last few days. I'd be glad to help out. I guess the most obvious idea is a parody of his global warming speech. This could be based on global warming or maybe Uncyclopedia (i.e. "Uncyclopedia is a parody of Wikipedia!") although I'm not sure if that might become repetitive in a full-length article. You could write a regular "encyclopedic" article based on the bios of Monckton and Daniel Davis (Niles the Butler from The Nanny) from Wikipedia. MadMax 02:24, February 13, 2010 (UTC)
- Dammit! Not everyone in the UK is called Niles you know! OK. They are. Well we have those two rather under way now, so I guess we would be looking at a 3rd article if we went with the Niles the nanny angle. I see where you are going with it though. Maybe that could be Lord Christopher Monckton DENIAL DENIAL. something along the lines of "I REFUSE to belive that someone just wrote Lord Christopher Monckton DENIAL and did it all seriously! Everyone knows that Lord Christopher Monckton is really Niles the Butler from the Nanny" :) MrN 02:33, Feb 13
- It could be kind of funny if you think about it. He hasn't really done anything in awhile so it could be plausible that he's running a one-man show on global warming. Monckton could even be a fictional persona something to what Borat is to Sasha Baron Cohen. They do have a slight resemblance to each other and similar mannerisms (both of them doing "Southern accents" for example). MadMax 02:57, February 13, 2010 (UTC)

Hey Max! I'm MAD at you. I was laughing nonstop reading the edits and links you made on above subject, made famous by illustrious MrN. Although I enjoy laughing, it is quite illegal, and now I'm in a bloody pickle. So I'll have to tell the "Man" that MadMax made me laugh, and that should get me off the hook. Maybe. By the way, please don't stop. It still itches!--Funnybony 09:08, February 13, 2010 (UTC)
When Madmax last time red Beginner's Guide?[edit source]
"...be funny and not stupid..." - it is what you should follow in your edits. Another thing - stop reverting other contributors' when they do interesting and humorous edits. You are here not to rule the world, but to create funny and interesting - NOT STUPID - articles. What was good in 2007, is not good in 2010. High and dry - is not in demand. Do not revert interesting articles back to 2007. 14 Feb. 2010, Artop
- Mr Artop. He reverted back to 26 January 2010 you idiot. Get your facts straight. This Madmax user you are rather rudely addressing won Uncyclopedian of the Year back in 2007. So rather a long time ago he was already one of the most respected members of this site. Since then he has become even more so. How long have you been here, and how do you know how this site works? Madmax has the most edits on this site of any user. Ever. He also rarely bans users (sometimes I think he's too soft, but that's up to him), and if he does revert an edit it will be because the edit really, really sucked. As yours did. Go read HTBFANJS and stop crying about 1 tiny revert. MrN 15:04, Feb 14
- Artop, dear old bean! I say! You can go to war with Uncyclopedia all you like, but you will certainly lose. Not because you lost, but because Uncyclopedia always wins. The recommended course of action is to accept your present limitations, declare yourself a "nOOb" and get yourself adopted (Adopt-a-nOOb program). If you're very lucky then MrN (above) might adopt you. And making friends here is highly recommended and helpful. Best wishes, and good evening--Funnybony 21:54, February 15, 2010 (UTC)
- I see, guys, you are here under control. I'm not friends-friendly, but truth-friendly. Whom, the hell need "biography 2005" now? I see this insert appeared. Is there any problem with yer 2010? Who needs the past years snow? All media and press keep themselves alive only by giving news. Madmax has nostalgia for his old glory, but this is not a reason to keep Uncyclopedia in a shape of old potato. Feb. 17/2010/Artop
- Artop, allow me to respond kindly by saying - shut the fuck up. Do you really think you'll be taken seriously by blaming one of the most admired editors here of keeping crap content for the sake of nostalgia, while not even being able to sign your posts properly? Spend some time reading BGBU and learn how to converse with your fellow editors. ~ 11:01, February 17, 2010 (UTC)

Req Award[edit source]
Hi Max! I wasn't sure if you knew, but the user MrCleveland has been infini-banned for sockpuppetry, writing too many failed articles and then for having a strop at MrN9000 something I have no idea about. Well anyway, I'm not here to gossip or start drama, but i noticed he's top of the table for creating requested articles, and yet out of the 12 he's created, 9 have either been huffed or moved to userspace. Perhaps the count should be adjusted accordingly, as he's obviously not going to be working on them anytime soon, and it's not fair to the other users on the list. This isn't a vanity thing, as I'm nowhere near topping the list, and I respect Maniac1075's contributions to making worthwhile requested articles.
Anyway, I originally came here just to discuss that issue, but I was overcome with horror when I noticed my count said I had 1 article moved to userspace. I tried checking my articles made from requests, and couldn't find any that were moved. Do you mind double checking this for me please.
Also, I've always wondered what italicised usernames on the most awarded list indicates.
Another random question, your last name in real life isn't Mitten is it? Thanks for putting up with my irritating inquisitions. --Matfen 11:51, February 15, 2010 (UTC)
- Matfen815 You have NO IDEA why that user was banned. I can tell you it certainly was not due to some of the reasons you suggested. Please do not attempt to know my mind, and certainly don't suggest you know it to others. If Max needs to know the details of this complex situation he can contact me via IRC. You Matfen815 don't need to know. Sorry to be so cold, but I do not like to be mis-represented. MrN 13:10, Feb 15
- Sorry, that's just how it appeared to me. His reasons for being banned weren't supposed to be my topic of discussion, and if I'd realized how it sounded when I innocently wrote it down, I would have left it out. I guess that's just another downside to communication on the internet. Am I still allowed to talk to Max about ReqAward, or should I just leave that to the big bad admins? My apologies again, and I hope I didn't make your shitlist. --Matfen 18:27, February 15, 2010 (UTC)
- I think I probably need to apologise. Looks like you took my comment more seriously than I mistakenly took yours. You will never be censored from talking about things which make Uncyc better. I did not reply to you about your actual question as I know that's one of MadMax's areas and that he normally decides what happens with UN:REQ. I'm sure Max will give you his view next time he pops in. Now, I had better get off Max's talk page before he bans me for loitering. :-) MrN 22:15, Feb 15
- No worries, and in the future I'll be more careful of writing in a style that sounds like I'm bitching while getting my hair and nails done. --Matfen 21:58, February 16, 2010 (UTC)

Thanks for the Help[edit source]
Thanks for giving me the Redirect coding. My articles would be pretty screwed up about now. Yet, I have another question: Would I be able to create a redirect page for an unused user name, or would I be deleted?
--Gamma287 15:46, February 15, 2010 (UTC)
- I'm not sure though I'm guessing probably not. If someone wanted to register under a specific name, such as one you might choose, they wouldn't be able to since it would already be "taken". MadMax 02:23, February 16, 2010 (UTC)

The ReqAward Strikes Back[edit source]
New topic because the old one made me a sad panda. Good work on adjusting the ReqAward score, but I noticed my count was still at 1 article moved to userspace, so I changed it myself so it would be less bother for you. It didn't occur to me before how much of a pain it would be for you to find out which requested articles I wrote and check they hadn't been moved, so here they all are.
I think the error might have stemmed from me momentarily moving Chris Rock to my userspace, as at that time I didn't think I would be able to finish it very quickly. I managed to anyway, and moved it back, but the last time you might have seen it, was probably when it was userspaced. Sorry for the inconvenience again, and keep up the goodwork, o' silent guardian of Uncyclopedia. --Matfen 21:58, February 16, 2010 (UTC)

I laughed most at the mummy, the Dali, and the Trophy case (that could be the missing trophies from the early years of football), the schroll could be the one of the original copies of the Magna Carta. Hey. Just zooming through m:List of articles all languages should have and realised that this is out of date. I've thrown together something in the talk page which is the more up-to-date listing, and gone through and found a few of them that I've been able to satisfy via redirect to an appropriate article, and now in the process of going through them all and seeing what needs to be changed - if any - of these articles to get it a little more hip-hop and happening. Could I get you to move User:Isra1337/vital to User:Isra1337/vital/version 1.0 and move User talk:Isra1337/vital to User:Isra1337/vital with obviously a touch up to the intro to have it - well, basically what is already on User:Isra1337/vital with the version number updated and a link to the older version? Hey, great work as always :). But, I have an issue: unless I'm missing deleted edits, he only blanked one page, and it's not typically recommended to block IPs forever, as they usually change and only block the innocent. Was it an open proxy or something? Hope this doesn't bother you.--On Saturday, 01:57, June 05 2010 UTC
That's what I assumed. I usually leave {{Oh Dear}} on the talk page but a lot of times its simply the start of a blanking/vandal spree that can take a long time to clean up if nobody's around. And from what I've been told, there haven't been a lot of adminds around the place lately. MadMax 12:28, June 9, 2010 (UTC)
Merging stuff[edit source]
Hey MadMax, I noticed you just merged Speed Limit into Speed limit. But the problem is, they don't really fit into eachother, they approach the subject from two completely different angles. "Speed Limit" surprises the reader by treating the absolute speed limit of this universe, which is the speed of light. "Speed limit" on the other hand treats the subject as one would normally expect, namely "a law in many regions prohibiting automotive travel above a certain velocity". So you see, they're two articles that can't really be merged. 16:11, 16 June 2010

Templates Archiving[edit source]
Hi Max, with regards to reviving VFDd templates, I don't really understand the need to do so. The template was voted to be deleted, ergo we don't want to see it on the site, reviving it (even with marked locked down version) still means that it can't be used and we'll need to monitor the links to each and every one of the archived templates. Specifically with the BUTT POOP template, that was deleted after a fair bit of drama and caused at least one user to leave, so I see no reason to revive it - and having some red links in places (where it was used) doesn't seem to be a good enough reason to revive it, and we can always fire up a bot to clean it up. What do you think? ~ 17:59, July 8, 2010 (UTC)
- Well I originially started archiving specific templates for this page. I usually don't mind removing templates from mainspace articles but a lot of the templates deleted later on linked to a lot of userpages (which I usually try to avoid editing) or pages closed to editing. I've tried experimenting with redirecting certain deleted images to File:No image.PNG or File:Censored.jpg. Is there a template that could serve the purpose?
- Sorry about the misunderstanding. I haven't really been active lately and wasn't aware of any issues with this particular template. MadMax 21:58, July 8, 2010 (UTC)

Would you please get some users and admins & kindly ask them to review my article here: Uncyclopedia:Pee Review/Uncyclopedia:Pee Review/ATX? I don't want my article to get deleted again. Thank you, DJ Mixerr 18:14, October 9, 2010 (UTC) User:DJ Mixerr/sig

This page[edit source]
Hi Max, just one question for you, shouldn't Internal monologue redirect to Internal Monologue rather than the other way round, considering Monologue is an important part of the title. I noticed someone messing with it a moment ago and thought I'd best find out what you thought since you moved it initially. Cheers. --ChiefjusticePS2 21:58, October 9, 2010 (UTC)
- Er... [addressing the lad above] slight correction, you banned me from doing on my own page exactly what you've just suggested ought to be done, which must be some new breed of steroid induced genetically modified hyper hypocrisy. Lots of love and kisses from Kiron
- Yes, but the difference is I'm asking about it for the reasons I already explained to you in the email. While I am quite prepared to explain when you ask me less than politely I'm beginning to tire of you acting like this is literally the biggest abuse of power ever. I thought MadMax might have reasons for moving the page as he did and I am prepared to wait for him to tell me so rather than simply undo it because I think it is wrong. --ChiefjusticePS2 22:39, October 9, 2010 (UTC)
I originally moved it because that was the title being used on Wikipedia. Feel free to move it back of course or you could use {{title-left}} to mask it. MadMax 23:37, October 9, 2010 (UTC)
Images[edit source]
Hello maestro. Hmm, never heard of Kiron, will have to look in. On the Talk:Star Wars/image gallery, shouldn't we just move all uncategorized images to Category:Star Wars Images, which exists? Lots of pics there, and I could work from the top to bottom, unless you have a reason for not categorizing them. I pick through your galleries once in awhile and categorize images, is this wrong of me? Slap me down man, I can take it, give me what I deserve mommy, eh, I mean, never mind, got carried away there. Anyway, good to see you around. Aleister 8:15 15 10
- The galleries are specifically used for orphaned images, although I think they're useful for a lot of reasons, but your definately welcome to categorize them. Unfortunately, regardless if there categorized, they still show up in Special:UnusedFiles. If you want, I can help clear out Special:UncategorizedFiles for you. MadMax 09:31, October 15, 2010 (UTC)
- Personally I enjoy the uncateorized photos, those are the ones I mainly use on my pages (I search them like an attic sometimes). So no, please don't huff any on my account, although lots of them are pretty useless. As for Star Wars and others (do you have a one-stop list of your talk page galleries?), I wonder how many people actually look through them for pics to use. I created the categories Soldier Images and War Images recently, and have filled them up since, but don't know if I'm just playing with myself or if someone will use them at some point. A sense of collecting, I guess, and I like it when I come upon a new War Image, for example, and can categorize it. Like a squirrel. Checked out Kiron, the one page he did is pretty good, that house mint one. Thanks again, Aleister 9:39 15 10
Lol. Actually when I wrote "clear out" I meant categorizing them. I did have all the unused images on a subpage at one point but Zombiebaron pointed out that most of them were, if fact, useless and that deleted images could be (usually) be restored. The image galleries are connected to Template:Talkheader although only a few of these actually have them. I've been meaning to get around to taking some of them off from most of the talk pages. I've listed the image galleries that I know of here. MadMax 10:03, October 15, 2010 (UTC)
- Lots of them. Thanks, I'll take a look at somevof them soon, nice to have a list in one place too. Chuck Norris, scary. The Hayes family should be good, I was actualy going to use one of the unused pic on Disguise and may do that, the butterfly one. Thanks again! Aleister 10:44 15 10
I always thought it's be neat to have a little caption for each in the voice of Grandmother Hayes. Same thing with the "UnPersonals" page. Afterall, there's whole websites devoted to hilarious personal ads. MadMax 11:10, October 15, 2010 (UTC)
TAW judges[edit source]

- Yikes! Sorry, I didn't see it when I was updating the page yesterday. If it was under the "Top 50" section it might have gone unnoticed since it disappears as soon as the wiki cache updates itself. Thanks for contributing. MadMax 00:08, October 16, 2010 (UTC)
TAW[edit source]
Hey Max, I think we need to bring this one for a close. Would you like to bring in replacement judges, score them yourself or just use the scores you already have or just ignore me completely? :) ~ 15:08, October 15, 2010 (UTC)
- Yeah things have kinda slowed down since UU and TKF had to drop out. I checked in with the other judges to see if they could still make the deadline, October 17, and found replacements. I'm still waiting to hear from Optimuschris but I guess I can fill in for him if I can't find anyone. MadMax 00:12, October 16, 2010 (UTC)

Official Statement of Protest Against The Influence of The Certain Judges On Another Judges.[edit source]
Ok, I think the scores and results of Best General Knowledge Article Category should be discarded or restored to the original socres. The reason of my protest is that CheddarBBQ's comment bore upon the decision of PuppyOnTheRadio, who apparently changed his decision on the final results, what resulted in my lose instead of equal win. I wouldn't protest, if Puppy chose that order at first but now it seems to be a common swindle. A judge can't change his judgery after he judged and another judge can't bear upon the decision of another judge. Otherwise the contest is senseless. And remember that according to the timetable, the day for final judgements and changing of them has passed... PS: I don't blame Puppy because everybody would dedition under such a complaint of Chedd. Sir Ptok-BentonicznyPisz tutaj • KUN 12:36, October 16, 2010 (UTC)
Contest is cool but the judgery wasn't solved well becuase the last to judge can decide who wins based on the already judged score. Jusgery should be secret and sent to the organizer e.g via e-mail or on the #Uncyclopedia. Sir Ptok-BentonicznyPisz tutaj • KUN 12:36, October 16, 2010 (UTC)
- As it stands right now, you and Lyrithya have tied for first place with Phrank Psinatra as runner up. I think the confusion was over whether ties were allowable or not (they are in this case). For the scores to change, and for you to drop to second place, POTR would have had to give points to User:Valdimir's article (Battle of Yorktown). MadMax 13:00, October 16, 2010 (UTC)
- Wait, what? That's how voting and whatnot works throughout the entire site - folks put down their votes, and others see them. Sometimes the later votes are influenced. Sometimes previous ones change their minds; I know I do that all the time with things like UotM. But it's just how people like to do it. Besides, with the way it's formatted and from the way MadMax added it up, we're still tied, anyhoo. Although from the hideous green of the award template, you can have it anyway. Ick. ~ *shifty eyes* (talk) (stalk) -- 20101016 - 15:10 (UTC)
- I'm a bit confused anyway but if it's still a tie, then I'm happy and I have nothing to add besides "sorry" for wasting your time. Cheers. Unlogged Ptok, who can't log for unexplainable reason.
hey[edit source]
I've just had a bit redundant idea :P What about creating a template honouring the TAW winning articles. The template which would be put at the bottom of the winning articles. The template which would inform potential readers that this is the one which has won. What about that? (I'm not the one who would create one. My English is horrible and I'm bad at Wiki language). Cheers Sir Ptok-BentonicznyPisz tutaj • KUN 20:21, October 18, 2010 (UTC)
- Yeah I was thinking of something like that as a talk page template or maybe as a category like PLS does. MadMax 07:07, October 19, 2010 (UTC)

Unprotection[edit source]
Can we try unprotecting the following pages? Most of these were indef semied in January, and some are on full protection:
The egghead 01:20, October 31, 2010 (UTC)
- You should probably take it up with the administrator who originally protected them. The thing is that most of these pages had been constantly vandalized prior to being protected. A few vandals, Spídér's Wéb: A Píg's Tálé. being the most recent, specifically target these articles for page moving sprees. MadMax 01:39, October 31, 2010 (UTC)
- What about Finding Emo? It's been more than a year! The egghead 19:01, November 7, 2010 (UTC)
- Egghead, why are you asking me and MadMax to do this? Perhaps if you gave us a good reason we could understand. -- The Zombiebaron 19:08, November 7, 2010 (UTC)
- What about Finding Emo? It's been more than a year! The egghead 19:01, November 7, 2010 (UTC)
- I ask different people for ideas, so we get a group opionion. Like I said, most are protected at least a year ago and I wanted to see if we could give it a chance, at least change the full to semi on a few and unprotect talk pages. The egghead 19:13, November 7, 2010 (UTC)
- As I said on my talkpage, if you want these pages unprotected you should speak with the admin who protected them in the first place. In most cases that would be Roman Dog Bird. -- The Zombiebaron 19:23, November 7, 2010 (UTC)

TAW entries[edit source]
So, you may or may not have noticed I took the liberty of adding the entries to that category you made for them... but I only did the ones that were moved to mainspace. just so you know. So you can yell at me if you want, or not, or something. Cheers. ~ *shifty eyes* (talk) (stalk) -- 20101031 - 04:27 (UTC)
- Hey thanks! I was wondering if I should add an award template for the runner-up and other entries. MadMax 04:31, October 31, 2010 (UTC)
- But do you want to? ~ *shifty eyes* (talk) (stalk) -- 20101031 - 04:37 (UTC)
Well certainly to add them to the category. Since I'm trying to mirror PLS and the other contests, I'll probably hold off on introducing another template for now. MadMax 05:14, October 31, 2010 (UTC)
Mike Tyson[edit source]
Hi Max. I've been working almost a year on this article you liked, and I think it's ready for another shot at VFH. I would like to know your opinion, if you have time to check it out. Cheers!--Funnybony 16:56, Oct 31
- It looks pretty good (though you should probablty take it to Pee Review first just to be sure). I made a few minor format edits and added a category but you can change it back if you want. Good luck on VFH. MadMax 19:38, October 31, 2010 (UTC)
- Good stuff. Thanks. You can compare your last edit with my last edit to see my refinements (and changed nothing of yours). Is there anything that would be BEST to delete? Delete is just as valuable as insert in my opinion. I dread Pees after seeing a Pee result in THIS CRAP. <--That is the kind of article, so envious and moronic, that it makes me ashamed to be here. REALLY! I can't do anything about it but bitch, cause I don't need enemies. And I offered to help the guy if he would ditch the "spork with a bad attitude" crap. But he got a Pee which only made it worse. See for your self. That is horrid to be on main space. You're an admin. How can you allow that? Thanks, bro!--Funnybony 20:11, Oct 31
- I liked everything there so I can't really think of anything to take out. Typically, if you have quotes and trivia sections, you should probably them look over to make sure that they're really funny and not too long. MadMax 20:39, October 31, 2010 (UTC)
Sure, take out the "offensive ones" - Doing now... Hey, can you huff a page for being so bad? Huff THIS, and you'll give Uncyclopedia a face lift. Really--Funnybony 21:37, Oct 31
Well if it's really that bad you could list it on VFD. MadMax 02:49, November 1, 2010 (UTC)
Thanks[edit source]
Thank you for your vote on California Marijuana Initiative. I don't know if you've voted on any of my pages before, so doubly appreciated. On the main page, where it sits contently now, it seems to have lost the first paragraph. Decapitated, there it sits, can you take a look to see if that's fixable? Thanks. And it was a sad loss indeed, when Californians had such a chance to be truly freedom loving people and dashed that chance into the waters of the Pacific. Thanks again! Aleister 3:38 4 11
- Ok, I think I fixed it. Congratulations by the way. :) MadMax 03:42, November 4, 2010 (UTC)
- You did! Thank you, it tells the whole story now. And thanks for congrats, yet it's not the ending of the story I was hoping for. John Lydon greatly helped on the page with his pee review. Oh well, 2012 is just around the corner, there, I can see it from here. Aleister 3:50 4 11
