Please do it (again)[edit]

Hi,this is Aggin19 again. Remember how I asked you in the past to restore some pages I made to user space?

Restore Typist,Nose writing,Davie504,McChicken and Ways to come out too, those are my pages. Move'em to da space. PLEASE!!! OwO 82.137.8.127 (talk) 07:34, 22 November 2020 (UTC)

Yeah ok, done. User:Aggin19/Typist, User:Aggin19/Nose writing, User:Aggin19/Davie504, User:Aggin19/McChicken and User:Aggin19/Ways to come out. Can you in the future perhaps put your new message entries at the bottom of my talkpage where I actually can find them chronologically ywy. Cat the Colourful (Feed me!) Please auto-confirm me[edit]

Good Day. My name is Raj, username is Rajsingh19, and I am trying to create an article for the professional model: Gowri Nadella, and kindly request you to please auto-confirm me as a user with article creating privileges. Thank you!

I don't think that page is protected from non-autoconfirmed users. Like, you should theoretically be able to create the page by all means. If you're not able to then I guess you're triggering out site's spam filters somehow. Possibly by inserting vanity? This is a parody website, you know, not a database for Instagram models. You should read our site's Vanity-guidelines. Cat the Colourful (Feed me!) Zzz Zzz...morning? 16:30, 16 November, 2020 (UTC)

Please do it[edit]

Dear Cat The Colourful,

Do you remember Aggin19? That's me. I've seen you deleted many of my pages like Llanfairpwllgwyngyll memorizer,Studio logo debate,Belly inflation,The Republic Of Bumekisa,Alphabet song,The Paprika TV series (in Romania),When you... and Longest names for the sole purpose that I was a bit cringe when creating the humor for those. Dear Cat The Colourful, please restore all of the pages or at least give a preview for me,I miss the articles of my own work, and want to see them again. I can't even remember what I wrote in them.

Thanks, Aggin19.

Sure, no problem. Done, done, done, done, done, done, done and done. :) Be sure to tell me if I missed anything or if you need anything else. Cat the Colourful (Feed me!) Zzz Zzz...morning? 12:42, 9 August, 2020 (UTC)

Why?[edit]

Hi. While I understand that you may delete articles you may not find funny, you haven't provided any explanation as to why my article Crysis was deleted. Why was it deleted? 83.251.43.112 (talk) 16:24, 30 October 2019 (UTC)

I replied to you on your talk page, in case your IP changed along the way and you didn't notice it. Cat the Colourful (Feed me!) Zzz Zzz...morning? 17:26, 31 October, 2019 (UTC)
Upon reviewing the deleted contribution, here is probably why it was deleted: it consisted of one sentence, and one header followed by a list, and no pictures. Lists by themselves are rarely funny. We look for the funny here. -- Simsilikesims(♀UN) Talk here. 18:14, 31 October 2019 (UTC)

That's weird, are you sure you didn't click the "stay logged in"-option when logging in? Either way, I blocked the IP as a test anyway, hope that helps, although I'm not really sure how it would have. Cat the Colourful (Feed me!) Zzz Zzz...morning? 20:38, 11 December, 2019 (UTC)

What the hell am I doing?[edit]

I was just testing it out. I didn't know what the Oh dear! was so I tested it but forgot to remove it afterward. Sos! --Wiki (Express yourself, be heard!) 02:43, 31 January 2020 (UTC)

That's fair, it just looked really really really weird on the recent changes. We do have a Sandbox which you can also utilize to test out things. :) Also thanks for all the grammar fixes you've been doing around! Cat the Colourful (Feed me!) Zzz Zzz...morning? 03:02, 31 January, 2020 (UTC)
It's a pleasure and a privilege for me to be here and help out. Plus, great username! Do you seem surprised that my username is called Wiki? You would have thought that the username was already taken long ago, but no, I created my account today with this username. Strange, huh? Plus, can you also direct me to the sandbox link? It doesn't show me the link on the navigation tab, nor the interaction tab either. Plus, I need to create my signature like yours is colorful. --Wiki (Express yourself, be heard!) 03:07, 31 January 2020 (UTC)
I did link it internally under the mention of the sandbox, but have this external link too then. And concerning your username, it appears that it was actually once registered sometime around 2006 - this is why your current talkpage already had welcome messages from todd and topkins - but due to our server relocating/splitting from wikia (which occurred in 2012) a lot of our older user accounts kind of bugged out. This is why a lot of user accounts remain "unregistered" despite them having some contributions around in some page histories, it's just that nobody has tried logging back into these accounts since 2012. Soooo, in that sense, yeah, it's surprising no one has even tried logging into/registering your nick for the past 8 years! But it's your property now, haha, go wild. Cat the Colourful (Feed me!) Zzz Zzz...morning? 03:32, 31 January, 2020 (UTC)

Is this page legitimately part of Uncyclopedia?[edit]

I got onto a page called Uncyclopedia (dot) org and it collected my e-mail address but nothing happened, it didn't ask me to set a password. Is that page legitimately part of your site or are they just collecting e-mails for spam? 99.239.9.63 (talk) 01:24, 13 February 2020 (UTC)

The relationship is complicated. I wouldn't call it officually part of the site, but more it redirects people to the site because uncyclopedia.org was the former wite location. NYC Revert[edit]

“Tip” is generally defined as the edge. For Long Island, it’s defined as, for example, Fort Hamilton in Brooklyn. Sure it’s funny, but can’t we be funny and accurate? Also rollback does not give an edit summary where it would be appropriate. Gale5050 (talk) 18:07, 3 August 2020 (UTC)

I just didn't understand what you were going for and - after repeated read-throughs after your explanation - I still don't understand at all what you mean. The "tip" makes the sentence's structure flow more logically to me, I'm not a native English speaker but I really can't make heads or tails of what the sentence even means anymore after replacing a tip with sixth. Dunno. Cat the Colourful (Feed me!) Zzz Zzz...morning? 18:35, 3 August, 2020 (UTC)
Understood. Gale5050 (talk) 18:43, 3 August 2020 (UTC)

My profile[edit]

Hello Cat the Colourful, this is regarding the recent actions taken against my profile JEOC, this is not a sockpuppet of my social profile of Freighttrain, it is just a resume profile that I keep more informal than my social one, also could you please say who it was that alerted you to my profile, this is because there has been a lot of harassment across FANDOM and any information regarding who it was would be helpful with this issue.

Now regarding my personal blog, do you know of any sites like this one that use the same HTML which do support personal blogs? Message profile (talk) 18:52, 17 August 2020 (UTC)

Your accounts were added into our site's Ban Patrol, which is a platform for our community users to report suspicious activity in case the admins are dozing off and fail to notice what's going on. I can assure you that there was no any particular harassment from my or the reporter's part, your edits striked off as weird to someone and it was forwarded to us admins and I looked into what you were doing and it striked off weird as well to me. We also have some pretty strict guidelines against having duplicate accounts.
And regarding your blog - I'm sorry but I can't really help you that one. Uncyclopedia just isn't the platform for that, sorry. Best of luck with your search. Cat the Colourful (Feed me!) Zzz Zzz...morning? 20:53, 17 August, 2020 (UTC)
No I wasn't accusing you of harassment, I just wanted to know the username of the person who reported, if it was just a regular on this site who did so then it likely wasn't one of a few from FANDOM who I suspect it might have been, and yes I know that Uncyclopedia does not support personal blogs, I was asking if you knew of any websites with a similar structure that do support them. Message profile (talk) 23:27, 17 August 2020 (UTC)

Someone wants to delete their account[edit]

Don't know if your online right now, but it looks like you're the most recent admin to edit (unless I missed someone else). Looks like a new user wants to delete their account. Perhaps you could take a look at this: Forum:How to delete account?. Thanks, cheers. MrX blow me 16:35, 11 September 2020 (UTC)

I don't think you can delete an account, @MrX:. All contributions need to be under some username, an account cannot be deleted. Information can only be deleted upon good cause, but even if suppressed(meaning admins can't see it), someone has access. Even though Wikipedia is different, the licence still applies. --Gale5050 Complain about me! 17:12, 11 September 2020 (UTC)
Yeah actual account deletion isn't possible to my knowledge, sorry. In some similar cases in the cases the site bureaucrat-codewizard-duders have renamed the accounts to something anonymous, but it's not something I can really do anything about myself. I forwarded that forum to the mightier forces though, hope some sort of resolution is found. Cat the Colourful (Feed me!) Zzz Zzz...morning? 18:31, 11 September, 2020 (UTC)
P.S. Thanks for the heads-up on the forum, the plead would have otherwise been gone completely unnoticed for some time. Cat the Colourful (Feed me!) Zzz Zzz...morning? 18:38, 11 September, 2020 (UTC)
Ok cool thanks. Good to know. MrX blow me 18:49, 11 September 2020 (UTC)
What? We have global renamere here? Just like the WMF! Or is it local? What’s an example of this rename? Gale5050 Complain about me! 18:55, 11 September 2020 (UTC)
Well I don't really know the inner workings of that since only sysadmins and crats are able to rename users, but yes, there have been cases of namechanges in the past. The most recent example of that that I can think of was with the user User:RH9 who requested an additional number off his username in here - Forum:Change_Username. If you have any more questions on account renaming you might wanna try poking Zombiebaron or the other crats. Cheers, Cat the Colourful (Feed me!) Zzz Zzz...morning? 19:04, 11 September, 2020 (UTC)

Because you’re a Checkuser, and checkusers have to be bureaucrats, per Uncyclopedia: check user. Gale5050 Complain about me! 01:39, 12 September 2020 (UTC)
Eh, I guess that's just bad wording on the part of whoever wrote the article. A plenty of the other administrators also have checkuser-rights. I'm not sure about the exact logic behind why some admins don't have the rights though. Cat the Colourful (Feed me!) Zzz Zzz...morning? 12:55, 12 September, 2020 (UTC)
The page is fully protected. Can you edit it saying they don’t have to be bueracrats? Gale5050 Complain about me! 19:01, 12 September 2020 (UTC)
I can't quite see why that matters, but I now made it a bit clearer without messing with the page too much. Cat the Colourful (Feed me!) Zzz Zzz...morning? 20:23, 12 September, 2020 (UTC)

Be careful when suppressing redirects. I added the redirect back, but redirects help people move. People will type in “I-4” occasionally so it’s helpful for them to be taken to there location. Gale5050 Complain about me! 21:35, 12 September 2020 (UTC)

Protection request[edit]

I created template: welcome-anon to help annonomoys users specifically in welcoming, can you fully protect it? It really shouldn’t be edited. Thanks! Gale5050 Complain about me! 22:57, 21 September 2020 (UTC)

I think we already have a specific template to welcome anonymous users with. But if you really want to stick with yours, then aight. But please don't actually put the template onto talk pages like you've been doing, but add it with a SUBST-prefix, just like with the normal Welcome-template. This extracts the content of your template onto the actual page itself and looks cleaner. So you'd want to insert it like this - {{SUBST:Welcome-anon}} ~~~~. Cat the Colourful (Feed me!) Zzz Zzz...morning? 13:30, 22 September, 2020 (UTC)

challenge to a duel[edit]

HEY YOU! Yeah, it's me. The guy who you deleted part of the Yu-Gi-Oh images on the Egyptian Gods Page. Think you're a wise guy, eh? You won't be so wise when I send your soul to the SHADOW REALM!!!! Get out your duel disk, because It's time to duel!!! -WohMi, the best damn duelist on this website

Yeah sure, we can have a Yu-Gi-oh duel if I can use my Pokemon cards. Gotta go fast! ...or something.
Anyway.... uhhhhh... I didn't really delete your content, I just fixed a typo and placed a link to your image instead of displaying it since it looked kind of odd and broke the pacing of the page. And I wouldn't normally give a shit, but Egyptian Gods is a featured article and I wanted to keep it pretty and aesthetic and.. stuff. But no hard feelings, aight?
So uhh.. where were we........ Oh right, Duelmasters? I summon you, Agumon! Cat the Colourful (Feed me!) Zzz Zzz...morning? 13:12, 16 October, 2020 (UTC)
FOOL! You've activated my trap card! I tap my water energy to destroy your Agumon!!! (I'm not mad about you editing my stuff LMAO just wanted to mess around.) Also, you can use your pokemon cards if you want, but my guys have like 2000 atk + df and you only have like 200 HP max... so you're gonna get ur butt kicked!!

Interstate 180 and Interstate 78[edit]

I put them up for ICU and you retained them. I put the expand template, which gives 30 days to retain the article before it might get deleted. Indeed, around 80% of our interstate articles were hopeless and deleted, and I found a few more to ICU. I hope this is a comprimise, to give it time to be expanded.

On a follow up, I don't think we need an interstate category as it belongs to few articles. --Gale5050 complain about me! 17:08, 22 October 2020 (UTC)

Yeah sure, that's fair. I had an idea of touching up at least Interstate 180 a bit because I liked the concept, but we'll see if I get around to doing it.
And by interstate-category do you mean Category:Interstate Highway System? I'd rather have that around on the existing interstate-pages instead of the interstate-template, which just is kind of big and awkward and ugly, especially now with all the red links in it. But that's just my opinion. Some form of categorization would be cool anyway. Cat the Colourful (Feed me!) Zzz Zzz...morning? 17:17, 22 October, 2020 (UTC)
Yes that’s what I mean for category. I-180 and I-78 are funny, but I-180 needs to be much longer and I-78 needs to be a little longer and a little funnier. Gale5050 complain about me! 17:36, 22 October 2020 (UTC)

Thanks for the promotion![edit]

Hey, thanks for promoting me to autopatrolled and rollback! Just one question, how do you actually mark pages as patrolled? ~ Hipponias - Bugged Calls - Criminal Record - Convictions 22:00, 25 October 2020 (UTC)

For new, recently created pages you can mark them patrolled in the lower right corner of the article. With new edits to pre-existing pages, you can patrol them in the respective page's edit history (click on 'prev' or 'cur' next to a specific edit so you'll see what the editor has changed, and then you should see an option to mark it as patrolled). But, ultimately, with the autopatrol-role you now have your own edits are automatically patrolled by the system and no longer show up as suspicious red exclamation marks in recent changes that could require an admin's or a patroller's attention :) Cat the Colourful (Feed me!) I think perhaps it should be mentioned that Oswald Mosley appeared on the Nicolas Comics Q&A[edit]

He appeared on Episode 6. I would suggest restoring my edit- and banning that uncouth anon. He smells like trouble. Nicolassequeira (talk) 01:38, 31 October 2020 (UTC)

Mmmmmmmm, no. Cat the Colourful (Feed me!) Zzz Zzz...morning? 18:07, 1 November, 2020 (UTC)
Sir, you really should ban that fellow. I believe he's using a VPN, as he appeared under numerous IP addresses, but I'm sure there's a way to let him know that his vandalism will not be tolerated here. Lemme know what you come up with. Nicolassequeira (talk) 18:27, 1 November 2020 (UTC)
I'm not going to come up with anything since none of the IPs have violated any site guidelines nor have they even performed any additional edits outside of reverting what very objectively is you advertising yourself on a random article. Just knock that off, thanks. Cat the Colourful (Feed me!) Zzz Zzz...morning? 23:13, 1 November, 2020 (UTC)
I was not advertising myself on a random article, Sir. I was adding relevant information. I would suggest you ban the fellow. he's clearly an anti-Nicolas Comics troll, and you don't want to encourage those fellows. Nip his vandalism at the bud, even if you don't want my edit restored. How does this sound? if you ban him, and keep him away, I'll drop the matter entirely. My concern is for the safety of the Wiki- and to refrain from punishing what is clearly an attack would be to imply that such behavior is desired. Nicolassequeira (talk) 08:05, 2 November 2020 (UTC)
Hello, Sir- I notice you did something to my user Page. For some reason it doesn't show up on history, but the edit goes as follows:

"Tried to blackmail me into blocking innocent IPs. (jk , but don't take that tone of 'dropping the subject' after meeting your terms when I've already clearly made my stance. Consider the subject dropped on your part))"

I'm sorry, Sir, but I cannot consider the subject dropped until the conflict has been resolved in a satisfactory manner- either by this fellow being removed, or me being allowed to restore my bit to the article, or both. please understand that when I offered to leave my bit off in exchange for you banning the fellow, it was not "blackmail" but rather a mutually beneficial and sensible way to go about things. That fellow is not innocent. He is likely a member of an anti-Nicolas Comics hate Sub, and you can't let those fellows fester on the site or they'll pus and boil over, and nobody wants that. They're a yucchy group, believe me. I've dealt with them countless times.

How does this sound, Sir? As it stands my edit is short and concise, but kind of boring- what if I added a few snappy little zingers in there? If I made the section more humorous, would it then meet your standards? Would it then be up to par? I can understand how you see my current edit as nothing more than lazy self promotion- how about I add a few jokes in there? You haven't met my terms and your stance is ludicrous. In addition, I don't even know if you've consulted the other Mods on this. Please- tell them about my offer. I think we can drop this subject in a much more satisfying manner than you propose. Thanks a whole bunch! Nicolassequeira (talk) 20:15, 2 November 2020 (UTC)

Bruh, the edits by the ips is only one each. What trouble to we get from them until they actually cause trouble? The satisfactory answer here is you drop the stick and nothing happens about your self-promo. G.L.S. (TP) 21:10, 2 November 2020 (UTC)
That would not be satisfactory, Sir. My original offer was a balanced compromise. Though those IPs are all separate, the justification given by each is identical (selfspam). hence, i suspect we're dealing with a troll who uses a VPN to mask his IP. The best solution would be to ban all 4 IPs and look out for any other suspicious activity- not to let this fellow run rampant. That's not the solution, I'm afraid. My "self-promo" as you put it is not self-promo but rather a good-natured jab, and to prevent me from editing here is an affront to my character and a compliment to the behavior of the troll. I urge you, Uncyclopedians- ban this fellow. He's bad news. Nicolassequeira (talk) 21:16, 2 November 2020 (UTC)
The fellow hasn't done anything, just remove your self-promo, a good natured jab is worth including, as if it actually fit into the narrative. Not "X appeared in Y." G.L.S. (TP) 21:20, 2 November 2020 (UTC)
Again, Sir- what I posted was not self-promotion, it was a good-natured jab. oswald Mosley did indeed appear on Episode 6 of the Nicolas Comics Q&A, and his time in that episode was so notable that the episode was named after him. I hardly see how such an edit could be construed as self-promotion, but that sort of hyperbolic language is useless compared to the infinite slights the anti-Nicolas Comics troll posse have committed against my person- and to side with them would be a crime. I suggest taking action and banning them. Nicolassequeira (talk) 21:25, 2 November 2020 (UTC)
Yeah yeah I get you want this guy blocked and jazz but I stand my ground on the self promo dilemma. You've done almost nothing to refute my point and only cite something on par with notability. In the case of my notability comparison, naming your comic after someone cause he appeared in it is not worthwhile to have. Otherwise, this reply is almost the exact same as the last, and has the grammar of someone who wants a good school essay grade. G.L.S. (TP) 21:31, 2 November 2020 (UTC)
I don't believe you understand what you're talking about, Sir. I didn't name one of my comics after Oswald Mosley. I named episode 6 of the Nicolas Comics Q&A after Oswald Mosley. And why d'you pick at my grammar? My grammar is fine, there's no sense in picking on that, it's not relevant here. I've come to the conclusion that you haven't done much research on this subject, Sir- and your definition of self-promotion is shaky at best. This isn't Wikipedia. Notability isn't a concern here. All that matters is whether or not my edit was relevant- and since it involves Oswald Mosley, I claim it is. That fellow is a troll, a sockpuppeteer, and in the name of good taste he needs to learn the consequences of sporadic unhinged vandalism. I would go so far as to reckon that a ban is certainly in order. Nicolassequeira (talk) 21:39, 2 November 2020 (UTC)
Looking up the comic would complete the circle of self promotion SiR. G.L.S. (TP) 21:40, 2 November 2020 (UTC)
Looked it up and it's strong self promotion. I stand my ground. G.L.S. (TP) 21:44, 2 November 2020 (UTC)
It's not a comic, Sir. It's a weekly Q&A. I've come to the conclusion that you're not entitled to talk about this subject because you don't know anything about it. This is between me and Cat here. If you'd like to participate in the discussion, please do your research on the topic- and quit picking at me for my grammar. I have no idea why anyone would stoop to such a level, especially considering my grammar and syntax are some of the finest I've observed. Nicolassequeira (talk) 21:44, 2 November 2020 (UTC)
I know it's a comic Q&A now. Anyway, still self promotion. One relevent result looking it up specifically. G.L.S. (TP) 21:49, 2 November 2020 (UTC)
What relevant result are you referring to, Sir? Nicolassequeira (talk) 21:51, 2 November 2020 (UTC)
The one with the description

G.L.S. (TP) 21:53, 2 November 2020 (UTC)

Yes, that's an accurate description of the Nicolas Comics Q&A. My edit doesn't constitute self-promotion, Sir. I'm not trying to goad anyone into listening to the Nicolas Comics Q&A, I didn't even link to the episode in question. I simply figured it should be mentioned. Mosley appeared on episode 6. Nicolassequeira (talk) 21:56, 2 November 2020 (UTC)
@Nicolassequeira: do you have any evidence to support your conspiracy theory about the anti-Nicolas Comics hate Sub festering on the site? If someone was following you around and reverting every edit you made just to be a dick, that'd be one thing, but that doesn't appear to be the case. And while it is possible that the user is using a VPN, I'd say it's much more likely that they simply have a dynamic IP address which changes more frequently than others. If they are using a VPN to conceal the fact that they are one user, they're doing a terrible job of it, since the IP's all geolocate to (basically) the same place, and they're using the same edit summary each time. As for the edits in question, they are absolutely self-promotion. I personally agree that they also have some comedic value here, as an in-joke in one way, in another way it is funny to say that part of a British MP's legacy is that he appeared on an episode of the Nicolas Comics Q&A. But it looks like there are more people here who disagree with you. And finally, while you are right to say that this isn't Wikipedia, you are wrong to say that notability isn't a concern here. It's not nearly as big of a concern as it is on Wikipedia, but is definitely a concern covered in our vanity policies. MrX blow me 22:43, 2 November 2020 (UTC)
Rest assured, Sir- this is an anonymous user who's so petty that they've reverted my edit 5 times. Such a fellow is definitely from Reddit. As I've offered and outlined above, I can expand on my edit a little. Toss some zingers in there. Or you can ban this fellow. Personally, I feel either option would be justified. These fellows who "disagree with me" are being tempted by the inane ramblings of the troll. I suggest you disregard them. This goat fellow didn't even know what he was talking about- so you can't take his thoughts at face value. I don't insist that my edit be preserved exactly as it is. Please tell me how I can chuck that detail in so it falls in line with your vanity policies, whatever they may be. I would also suggest banning that fellow. Nicolassequeira (talk) 22:50, 2 November 2020 (UTC)
As 2 other editors have already pointed out, a ban is not warranted. They've reverted self-promotion, that's it. While your edits do have some comedic value, it looks like most editors feel that they are more UN:VAIN than funny. MrX blow me 23:01, 2 November 2020 (UTC)
Thank you MrX and GoatLordServent for your input. I can't even begin to express how sorry I feel that you guys have also somehow been dragged into this absolute mass of nonsense and futility that is what's it like communicating with Nicolas.
Nicolas, let me make myself clear for the last time: I do not want to - nor am I going to - ban the IPs. And I do not want to see you breaking our vanity-guidelines with the Q&A-addition. And least of all do I want to keep telling the same thing to you over and over and over again. I do not see any systematic bullying on behalf of the IPs and I do not see the point of referencing a Q&A centered around your comics in Oswald's page. Read our Vanity-guidelines thoroughly and make your additions with them in mind or just don't edit the page at all. Maybe just focus your creative energies outside of this ridiculous conversation, as I'm personally done with it.
As a sidenote, I really enjoyed your original work on Literally Satan Media, LLC.. But I do not enjoy this nonsense in the slightest. Cat the Colourful (Feed me!) Zzz Zzz...morning? 00:00, 3 November, 2020 (UTC)
You're the one being unreasonable here, Sir. To imply that communicating with me is nonsense- have you no scruples, Sir? I try my best to reach a compromise, whenever possible. As I've said, you don't need to ban the fellow, but in that case, my edit stays. It's one or the other, Sir, it's not both. If you don't want to invest yourself in this ridiculous conversation, you shouldn't have become involved in this ridiculous conversation. I'm going to re-edit the page and add in some jokes so as to make it less self-promotish- and I ask that if this fellow reverts my edit again, you either allow me to handle it by reverting the page back if you don't want to ban him, or you can ban him. He's the only fellow creating a ruckus here, and to keep him on AND revert my edit would be to encourage his uncouth behavior. This ridiculous converstaion is indeed ridiculous, but certainly not because of anything I've done- rather, it is ridiculous because you've given the troll credibility- and you really shouldn't do that. Nicolassequeira (talk) 00:55, 3 November 2020 (UTC)
No, Nicolas, you are the one being unreasonable. You do not get to arbitrarily proclaim that there are only 2 options. That’s not the way things work here. MrX blow me 03:09, 3 November 2020 (UTC)
I never claimed there were only two options, Sir. Those are simply the only options I can see. The option you propose- to sit back and do nothing as this fellow deletes my edits willy-nilly- is ludicrous and irresponsible. If you have any ideas or advice, feel free to share it here. You seem to imply that there are more options, a plethora, a cornucopia, so have at it. I'm all ears. The options I gave seem reasonable enough, but if you have a third or even a fourth option that wouldn't involve giving this troll what he wants, then by all means spill the beans and let us know what you're considering. Nicolassequeira (talk) 04:40, 3 November 2020 (UTC)
The only options you can see are two out of millions. I have seen nearly every way this can end and if I tell anyone it's not going to happen. Doctor Strange (talk) 12:36, 3 November 2020 (UTC)
Wow, it's Doctor Strange. You're right, Sir. Better not tell anyone how this'll end. However it ends, it could be pretty interesting. Millions of possibilities, wowNicolassequeira (talk) 21:10, 3 November 2020 (UTC)
I can tell you it won't be interesting to you. Doctor Strange (talk) 21:14, 3 November 2020 (UTC)
Yeh, yeh- by all means, keep your interdimensional secrets under wraps. Nicolassequeira (talk) 21:19, 3 November 2020 (UTC)'
Very well than. Doctor Strange (talk) 21:20, 3 November 2020 (UTC)
I'm shocked Stephen managed to completely halt the conversation. Wow. G.L.S. (TP) 01:10, 4 November 2020 (UTC)
@Nicolassequeira: I'm beginning to see what Cat was talking about. Communicating with you can be nonsense. You did indeed claim there were only two options. Remember? You said "It's one or the other". Yet now you claim otherwise. Anyway, no, your spam should not stay in the article in question. However, it does look like you may actually be correct about some sort of anti-Nicolas group. The responses from @GoatLordServent: and @Doctor Strange: are odd and troubling, to say the least. MrX blow me 07:14, 6 November 2020 (UTC)
Yeh, there's some kind of comic-hating cabal afoot. If you feel anything out during your investigations, feel free to leave it on my talk page. Anyhoo, I'm done with this Oswald Mosley rubbish- it's too petty to get wrapped up in. There are more things to worry over- I believe my PC was recently hacked. Pretty ominous stuff. These trolls are really going bananas. Nicolassequeira (talk) 07:36, 6 November 2020 (UTC)
Great of you to finally move on 15 thousand bytes later. Best of luck with solving the PC issues. Cat the Colourful (Feed me!) Zzz Zzz...morning? 14:30, 6 November, 2020 (UTC)

Is this funny enough?[edit]

Recently I wrote the article white horses. Is it funny enough to get featured? If not, what do I need to add/change? Also, how can I make my signature colorful? --Jabberwock (talk) 03:01, 16 November 2020 (UTC)

I figgered it out! --Jabberwock (talk) 03:14, 16 November 2020 (UTC)
I liked your article! It's a full, pretty looking page with lots of good imagery and wikicodery. I wasn't aware of the whole white horse-philosophy before checking out your article and I laughed at the Wikipedia-entry on it already, definitely a great idea to write satire on. But as for if it's feature-worthy, I'm not really so sure about, you'd just have to test and see how the community takes it in really. But personally I would recommend fleshing out the language a bit since some of the sentences feel like they end a bit abruptly. A majority of the article seems to focus on proving whether or not white horses exist in a very scientific-but-listcrufty way which gave me the impression of reading the same sentence repeatedly over again and again. I kind of see what you're attempting to do in order to present the whole argument as ridiculous as it is, but it's also kind of exhausting to read. Wikipedia's article on the white house-philosophy does a good job of exploring the subject in full cohesive sentences. But - then again, that's just my personal take on the article! I wouldn't feature it in its present form but somebody else probably would.
And cool that you figured out how to make your signature! However, doing it like that inputs a huge amount of unnecessary wikicode into talkpages. I'd recommend tidying up your signature and making it into a template, as explained here -> Uncyclopedia:Signatures#Creating_a_signature_template <- in full. Cat the Colourful (Feed me!) Zzz Zzz...morning? 16:23, 16 November, 2020 (UTC)
Hope you guys don't mind me chiming in, I also like white horses! If it were nominated for feature, I would vote for. The concept, satire of the philosophical concept and mathematical proofs in general, is very funny but also kinda esoteric. Cat's suggestions about the language and listcruftiness could help make it more appealing to the masses, but I kinda like the article the way it is. Anyway, good job! MrX blow me 18:38, 16 November 2020 (UTC)
Now I revised it, I moved some of the proofs elsewhere, and add the proposed solutions section in the main article. And actually my English is not very good, I only passed CAE and did not pass CPE. So sometimes my language is unnatural. --Jabberwock (talk)Pseudotag.pngRape 13:31, 19 November 2020 (UTC)
Yeah no problem, I'm not a native English speaker either so I struggle with the language a lot. My incomplete understanding of the English language probably also is the primary reason why I had trouble reading through the article before haha. But I like your revisions, the article feels like a much tighter package now IMO! Especially with that more fleshed out ending. Good work duder. Cat the Colourful (Feed me!) Zzz Zzz...morning? 15:22, 19 November, 2020 (UTC)
Interesting, I hadn't even noticed any issues with the English! As a foreign language fan, I know how tough this can be. I'll take another look at the article when I have more time, hopefully later today, and see if there are any minor corrections to make. MrX blow me 16:11, 19 November 2020 (UTC)
Why isn't my white horses featured yet? It has 5 for votes and no against votes. In Recently featured, I see that Jerusalem (article) got featured with a score of 4.5, and some others with a score of 5. Also, statistics show that my vocabulary is only 6% of the American Scrabble dictionary. --Jabberwock (talk)Pseudotag.pngRape 13:50, 24 November 2020 (UTC)
These things take time, and I don't personally even know how to feature articles. It'll get featured eventually (and besides, there's a couple other articles already in line of getting featured. I don't think you should make a point of argument about vote scores because that's irrelevant, this is just general administrative laziness [me included]). Cat the Colourful (Feed me!) Zzz Zzz...morning? 14:44, 25 November, 2020 (UTC)
Sometimes a nominated article can have a score above 5 for months before getting featured. I think part of it is to let recently featured articles have some time in the spotlight. Though some sort of glitch or something seems to not have Extinctionism on the front of the main page. I mean it's listed as a recently featured article on the main page, but the one that has the summary and a picture is always a randomly selected previously featured article. I think I might be the only one experiencing this glitch though. I've brought it up on Discord before, but it seems like nobody else sees it. Anyway, White Horses will get there. MrX blow me 15:44, 25 November 2020 (UTC)
Also, about half votes. Are self votes supposed to be half votes? Or is that something else? MrX blow me 15:45, 25 November 2020 (UTC)
Mmm, I'm not seeing your page on the front page either, but I assume it has something to do with the way our Feature-queue works. It seems to automatically switch the featured article back into randomized articles after a few days, so I don't think it's necessarily a glitch. I tried to take a glance at how the whole thing works and it all seems like some unfathomable Eldritchian horror to me lol, it will take some time before I'll get the grasp on the codery side of it. Also, half votes are votes made by unregistered users, so votes made by IP addresses count as half votes. Cat the Colourful (Feed me!) Zzz Zzz...morning? 17:59, 25 November, 2020 (UTC)
Ah ok, that makes sense, thanks. MrX blow me 18:04, 25 November 2020 (UTC)
