As a joke and totally for no other reason, the Sandwich of the Month award was created to award users. These users may be thought of as not exactly good, but still helpful, funny, or silly, or they can be users in very good standing who someone just wanted to award in a silly way. Essentially, think of being whacked with a wet trout, but it has exactly the opposite meaning and is overly glorified.

Precedence and privileges[edit source]

Winners of the Award gain a Sandwich and are allowed to place in the {{user sandwich}} template on their page. Whether the sandwich is peacefully given to them or thrown into their talkpage haphazardly is up to our discretion.

Procedure[edit source]

Voting is on a monthly basis.
Please vote for the candidate you feel is most deserving of a sandwich. Votes from sockpuppets, anonymous IPs, and unknown/inactive users are... weighted appropriately.
You cannot nominate yourself. You can, however, vote for yourself.
When a user is nominated, the nomination template {{VoteSaOTM}} can be added to their userpage.
You must be the leading vote getter to win. If two users both have the most votes at the same time, both of them are awarded the sandwich. Crowdsource, call in sexual favors, or whore to your heart's content in order to get this number. Just don't make socks or vote twice. Or whore. Sorry I said that the first time.
