Uncyclopedia:Huggle
This is an essay. It is not an ignorable policy on Uncyclopedia, so you should ignore it even more and disregard the mad ramblings of its writer. Or you could submit it as an Uncycloversity assignment in lieu of doing any actual work. |
JJPMaster seems to really love porting random Wikipedia counter-vandalism tools over here, doesn't she? Well she does, and upon the request of Cassie, she ported the WP tool called Huggle. This allows users to make, let's say a lot of edits per minute, and certainly violate a lot of rate limits, so therefore, access is limited to users who have both extended-confirmed AND rollback user rights on Uncyclopedia.
How do I install it?[edit source]
You install it as an actual computer program from here, and go to your Huggle directory.
- If you use GNU/Linux, it's at
~/.local/share/Wikimedia/Huggle/Configuration
(regardless of whether you are using a manually compiled version or a Snap install). - If you use macOS, it's at
~/Library/Application Support/Wikimedia/Huggle/Configuration
. - If you use Windows, it's at
C:\Users\<your Windows username>\AppData\Local\Wikimedia\Huggle\Configuration
.
Open huggle3.xml, replace the content with the content of this page, open Huggle, and hit reload. Then, you should see "uncyc" in the list of wikis. Then you go to the "legacy" login section, and log in with your Uncyclopedia username and password. If you know how to use bot passwords, create one at Special:BotPasswords, copy the generated password into the password field, and then "<your username>@<bot password name>" in the username field. Otherwise, just use "legacy login"!
