As some of you may be aware Wikimedia has moved to a new default version of the Vector skin. I think we should follow suit. The first step in this process is of course voting to see if this is a widely supported idea or not. Please vote below, thanks. -- The Zombiebaron 00:00, 13 May 2022 (UTC)

Against slightly. Isn't this going to bring up some technical issues? And who's going to change the skin? It can't be Lyrithya's team, that's for sure. I'm fine with the skin, but until these issues are explained away, I'll have to vote Against for these reasons. Against. Sorry, but I don't really like the Vector 2022 design because it hides the anonymous Talk and Contribs. Not a huge change, but I'm not a fan of Vector 2022. 05:22, 16 May 2022 (UTC)

I will probably end up voting for this, but for those of us who are little more tech-inept, what would the difference be? And what would changing our vector skin entail? MrX blow me

- The process for installing is outlined on the page I linked above. It is a server-side process where the files are added to a directory. As for what will be different you can view a live version of the skin at the French Wikipedia. Please note that this will not mean "changing our vector skin": this process will install a new Vector skin which logged in users may choose not to use in favor of the current skin. Also we'll probably need to upgrade our MediaWiki version, which is another server-side process. -- The Zombiebaron 04:38, 13 May 2022 (UTC)
