- That's what I said on your talk page--make it good and you get to keep the name. And it's looking good too. I can change mine to UnBooks:Robot Jesus or something. And thanks for the cookie!! No one has given me one in my whole time here, I've had to steal cookies from pages and been in wars about that. And good to hear your "voice", aggressive or not. Al few minutes later
Well prove it then. oh and er, I don't "steal other peoples ideas" and have a nice day...
Err...[edit | edit source]
You discoraged me now have I nice day...
Hold on, cowboy[edit | edit source]
Got a bit of a problem with NeuroticNinjaPirate666, I see. Apparently you're upset that he copied this image from your userpage to his, including the caption. There's one problem: On Uncyclopedia, there's nothing whatsoever wrong with doing that. Submissions to the site are meant to be used and edited by others; see the "If you don't want your writing to be edited mercilessly and redistributed at will, then don't submit it here." bit at the bottom of the editing screen. One common way for people to improve their userpages is off the designs of others; I'll bet that something on your userpage was inspired by, or taken directly from, someone else's userpage. Additionally, the bit he "stole" from you is honestly rather insignificant; I see an image and a caption of five words. I don't even think he tried to attribute the image and caption to himself, either. Furthermore, contributions to Uncyclopedia are released under a Creative Commons Share-alike license, negating any copyright complaints. To sum up, this isn't something you should be getting angry about, and certainly doesn't justify yelling at a new-ish user for doing something common and acceptable. NNP666 has blanked his userpage and talk page, and judging by the note he left on your talk page, I suspect he might be leaving the site, and this is definitely not something we want. As far as the site is concerned, he did not "steal" anything from you. --Andorin Kato 21:52, August 1, 2010 (UTC)
- It was about the use of the caption only, and I totally agree, and take full responsibility for being an asshole and a dick. I wrote NijaPirate on his talk page, and I hope that he takes the time to read the material added to his page by Chief and myself. Aleister 6:38 2 8
- Listen up Al' you're a cool guy, but don't ever let me see you threaten another user like that again, not much pisses me off but bullying and attempts at intimidation do. I am blocking you for 6 hours, I would request that you use them to cool off a little and think about things. Seriously man you are far better than this, we agree by submitting to the site that our work can be used by others and you have no right to have a go at another user, especially a newer one like that. If you want to talk to me when your block expires, or via email I'm happy to listen to what you have to say. --ChiefjusticeWii 22:03, August 1, 2010 (UTC)
- This was deserved. And no, I really didn't understand the site as regards our user pages, but no excuse for how I went off. I wrote NinjaPirate on his talk page, to add to your note there. Aleister 6:41
- Al, I tried looking up "plagerism"! Can't find it! Am not bent out of shape at the possible loss of a 14-year-old who never used his talk page; you could have been gentler but I think silence would still have resulted. I plagiarized (plagerized) Zim's UnNews Audio catch-line for a little while ("Thank you for suffering!") and he was flattered--but then I got my own. File this under, "Be careful what you wish for!"--to-wit, bans.
- Anyway, why I wrote...Hope you saw before VFD was concluded that I narrated St. Columbo. I put a wee bit of acting into that one, as you had asked for. Spıke ¬ 00:53 2-Aug-10
- Nice, I'll listen to it when next logged in. This new 24 policy on VFD really opens up a lot more possibilities, and hopefully more pages will be saved. Do you believe I actually found a good and in-context place to put the Elephants template, on Kleptomaniac. Thanks again. Aleister 6:44 2 8

Battle of the Bans[edit | edit source]
Ooops! regards the temporary ban regards Neurotic Ninja. He's gone on a self blanker for the moment but may come back. I do hope you don't leave but I see you have eaten your own microwaved humble pie and so guess you'll keep up active involvement with this site. I think I will have to call you the Tigger of Uncyclopedia (but without the golf jokes). --RomArtus*Imperator ® (Orate) 07:47, August 2, 2010 (UTC)
- Well, I can jump further than a kangaroo! I know I can. Just haven't tried it yet. Leave? Oh, yes, huff huff, I'm leaving. Of course not, the ban was justified. And no humble pie, I meant every word. A great experience, actually, a good learning curve about the site. And it gave me an excuse to read and study Sog's Doolittle raid article on VFH. Aside from just a few minor things the entire article is so well put together and interesting, and it showed me we can really let loose and write on the site. Thanks for your note. Aleister 15:10 2 8

cool guy[edit | edit source]
Im relatively new here. And i noticed that you seem to be one of the nicer and less agressive people here and i read one of your articles and it was hilarious. at least it seems that way. Ive done a few edits...mostly rejected, i discovered the negative potato, made what i thought were nice edits and now its being totally butchered by someone else and am editing (very slowly) the royal bear force and im working on a HUGE rewrite for corporations which ill publish all in one go. Could you do me a favor...could you read my edit on negative potato and tell me what you think and also if the new person is kind of butchering it or not. I just dont understand if its just me and would be nice to have a non aggressive person read it. – Preceding unsigned comment added by Shabidoo (talk • contribs)

Sir, I would like to file a formal complaint[edit | edit source]
Over my removal from the 10 most wanted. Have I not proven evil and damaging enough to earn a sit on the list? For shame. ~ 08:21, August 3, 2010 (UTC)
- Hello, and good to meet a new user. I always treat them kindly and gently. Well, when something is removed from a page, you can always revert it yourself (if someone huffs one of your entire pages, for example, just bring it right back, they won't mind). One way is by looking up its "history" (see the button placed on the window of your electonic box, next to the "edit" button above) and then revert the last edit. This may be a little too complicated for a noob, but you'll get the hang of it as you use the site more. Another way to return yourself to that page is to ask an admin if they can return the deleted section to the article. 9 out of 10 of them will help you with this. The other will ban you for looking at him sideways or for using an asterik, whichever comes first. It's like roulette. Well, good luck, and enjoy your stay at Uncy, the grossly misnamed "content free" (?) encyclopedia, and I hope that you find your way back to the most wanted list, a nobel goal. And have a cookie. I picked mine because of a mix of Crowley and "Alice in Chains", thought it was a clever name (heh heh), but I just use Aleister now. Go for it! Al few minutes later

Re: Puddle of shit[edit | edit source]
Okay, let's have a go. I think it's worth it. BUT: should I be editing the main thing (which is likely to be deleted) or do you have a copy in your user space? (Oh, and I think I saw it after your edits. To be honest, if you hadn't gotten involved I don't think I'd have bothered to read the thing [especially past that unfunny quote, which to me is a real bad sign.]) Nicely done so far. I'll try to crank up my sense of humour to convince all the bastards. Myocardialinfarction 18:58, August 3, 2010 (UTC)

Since the contest is nearly done and HELPME will have alot of reviewing to do, I just wanted to say that you're page on Tombstone is nice.-- 02:46, August 4, 2010 (UTC)
- Thanks! I don't even know if there are spelling errors and grammar stuff wrong on it (HELPME will find them in a second, he's got a nose like a bloodhound for errors). I looked at your page quickly and it's very good, will read all of them soon but not now, logging off soon. Lythrya has only worked on her page for a couple of hours at most, she came in late, and it is amazing. Happymonkey should be proud of the quality of the articles his contest brought forward, this was a fun one to participate in. Aleister few minutes later

- Not a Neurotic one then. BTW - a link for your Aleister if you are looking for a new home: http://www.theregister.co.uk/2010/08/06/abbey_of_thelema/ --RomArtus*Imperator ® (Orate) 14:01, August 6, 2010 (UTC)
- Thank you. If I swing the deal I'll make sure they pay you a finders fee. I'm actually surprised that one of Crowley's followers doesn't pick this up, it's one of his few "important" residences (the one on Loch Ness, Bolskine, also floats into new ownership from time to time). And yes, Gomphog is no longer Neurrotic (those few hours of Scientology auditing did wonders). Or a Ninja or Pirate by the looks of it. Aleister 17:04 6 8
- There are enough neurotics in here already without adding it as a handle as well! Though what the hell is a Gomphog or have I missed out on my education at St.Torquemada's again? - Gomphog. No idea. Maybe he'll tell us sometime, or I'll goggle it later just for interest. If my memories are working I believe that cottage is where lots of trouble went down, someone died after a round of drugs or something, and Crowley scrammed out of there in a hurry. It's the Loch Ness one that something or other has to be aligned with at Thelema's masses, like the Muslims have to bow down to Mecca five times a day (which is one of the best things they do for their puppets, ah, followers--it keeps the spine limber!). Jeez, the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame or a promoter or someone should try to set up a reunion of TM and several other psychedelic bands, a decades-late psychedelic Woodstock. The mushrooms would flow like wine! Aye! Do you whore (I've go 20 bucks sitting here just burning a hole in the dresser. . .) You and Funnybony should try to round up the few votes needed for Keith to get it featured by asking people to read it. I'm surprised at how many users who vote don't read all the pages on the nom que. The page is well worth it, and I'll ask around too. I forgot what we were talking about, man minutes later
- p.s. Gomphog is actually unique. Googled it and his user and talk page are the main hits on the name. It seems like a real name, shows good creativity there. He actually is very smart, and needs to back off a few notions and he'll do very well.
- OK thanks for that background info on Gomphog. I am glad he's talking a lot more. Regards the Keith business, does seem to be stuck on nine votes. Oh well, I was hoping it would be get featured as Funnybony had added so much. Let's see what happens. --RomArtus*Imperator ® (Orate) 17:33, August 6, 2010 (UTC)

Tony Jaa and Padmé[edit | edit source]
Bro! Here are 2 articles I'm trying to save. Can you take a look. The Tony Jaa article, by some other writer, was huffed so I started from scratch. The Padmé article I stumbled on was only a single paragraph with no categories, pictures, or anything..zilch. So I expanded it a lot. But the powers that be think I'm a new guy, so they tagged them both. Little do they know that I'm an officer with the Rank of Huffer First class or Lieutenant, which is almost equal to what ever comes next. Hehe. Cheers!--Funnybony 17:39, Aug 7
- You did enough to save them long ago. Nice work. Either my computer or the site computer is running slow, as many of the pics aren't coming up. I'll read the Padme for sure, nothing like a good Star Wars article, esp. when it has to do with Nathalie Portman. I don't know why Keith isn't featured yet, you guys did a great job there. Just looking around the site for a few minutes, and then out. Soon. Al 1:25 8 8
Joke spam[edit | edit source]
You know, It's sometimes funny to insult people in a polite way; "Sir, would you kindly fuck off!" or "How about a nice cup of shut the fuck up!". Hah, It's goes like chocolate and peanut butter. P.S - Gomphog is Jabberwocky for Kabbalah! Gomphog 19:24, August 7, 2010 (UTC)

Which could I suppose be considered whoring. So I'm asking. :) —FAGGOT WHORE Mr. Antonio Yettie (talk) [21:41 8 August 2010]
- What? Whore me all you want, I'll take you to my bedroom, do you good, and pay you well. No freaks. Signing off now though, food beckons me to its fair side. Aleister 21:48 8 8
- Oh I was just going to ask you to have a look at this? And give some thoughts. I wrote it about two years ago, I believe. And I was just looking over some old articles I did and noticed that this (which I didn't think I'd ever finished, but apparently I have) had been mainspaced in my absence and featured on the Why? page. I'm quite bad at judging what I write has any comedic value. Do you think this is any good? Anywhere near VFH standard (I doubt it, but might as well ask)? Thanks! Enjoy the food. —FAGGOT WHORE Mr. Antonio Yettie (talk) [21:52 8 August 2010]
- On inspecting the history it appears that I mainspaced it. Well I forgot about that...and I think I can remember the Why? feature now...I don't know. My memory is hazy, at the best... —FAGGOT WHORE Mr. Antonio Yettie (talk) [21:54 8 August 2010]

- I've never understood the objection to whoring? Not being rude, but just wondering why you dislike it? —FAGGOT WHORE Mr. Antonio Yettie (talk) [00:57 9 August 2010]
- Well, I hate it for a couple of reasons. For one, I've seen it sway votes here, which irritates me. A lot. Also, the person whoring assumes I've never seen said thing they're whoring before- I sometimes avoid things for a reason. It's a waste of space and innocent bytes.--HM (T) 02:01, August 9, 2010 (UTC)
- I can feel the simmering love. Can I join this big group hug???? Shabidoo 02:38, August 9, 2010 (UTC)
- Asking someone to look at their article is not whoring. Damnit, I was expecting a good proposition, whips and stuff, and all I get is a lousy "look at my page" request. Yes, I will look at your page, can't give a promise of when though. And HELPME is so afraid of whores that he should go down to the bars or the docks or somewhere, flash a roll of bills, and see who bites. Once he gets used to a whore then he'll be open to people asking him if he read their page yet. To me real whoring of the bad variety is "Vote for me and I'll vote for you" which I have seen here and am again'em. Or an off-site arranging of votes for a page or for an award which then emerges and bypasses other pages and other users nommed for an award. That is, to me, against the spirit of Uncy, Sophia herself, who would never do such a thing. (All bow down and kiss the hem of Sophia's garment). But a "YAY, I think I have a good page and I'm wondering if you've read it yet? Some comments? Or a vote if you really like it?" is not whoring, it's a conversation between friendly users. That's my say, ya. Al later that same week.
- I agree with you al. This is more like just asking for advice. Organising votes and things like that outside of Uncyc is wrong. Equally asking people to vote for you is wrong. However, there is a difference between saying, hey I've been nommed for something/my article is up for VFH/my picture is up for VFP, could you have a look? Not forcing them to vote for your but just asking them to vote ON it. As mature users you don't mind if your friend votes against you. I wouldn't mind if al came back to me now and told me he hated my article and was putting up for VFD I wouldn't mind...well not too much.... I'm not asking for him to vote for or nom anything. Just asking if he has a moment to look at an article. There is no vote swaying... —FAGGOT WHORE Mr. Antonio Yettie (talk) [16:18 9 August 2010]
- Asking someone to look at their article is not whoring. Damnit, I was expecting a good proposition, whips and stuff, and all I get is a lousy "look at my page" request.

Thanks! - I'm going to cry in my beer, or my bong, or in my beer bong, first from sadness and then from laughter. What. In. The. Fuck. Are. You. Still. Doing. ? . After all that has gone down on your talk page, all the chances you got, you ask me to help with a swiped rap song? All you have to do is google "The master plan of Sir Francis Bacon" and the lyrics that you copied are there. I'm this close to giving up on you. Maybe closer. Back to my beer bong (not really, I don't mix and much prefer the latter). Jeez. Aleister 15:59 12 8

- Wow, this is the only time I've ever seen Aleister as anything other than "overly-enthusiastic". --Black Flamingo 20:12, August 12, 2010 (UTC)
- Ya, grrrrrrr. Read his talk page, the last few sections or more, for background. UU and I have been trying to talk him out of this stuff and to be honest about it. He copied every one of his main articles from other sources, outright with no changes (except for the one he nommed for feature, which he took from the German site and ran through a translator). I had hoped he was done with this, we had reached a new level, and then he comes in with this Shakepeare page that is a word-for-word copy of a 1992 rap song. Three times (at least) he tried to lift articles from semi-obscure sources elsewhere, probably expecting nobody would check up on it. Caught each time, he does it again, and then again. So my enthusaism is in trying to teach a 14-year old who wants to be a writer that he should write his own stuff, not lift something verbatim without even an attempt to change it. How many times should we give someone a pass on this after he is caught and warned each time? If he wants to write his own stuff, I offered to help him and collab. What's going to happen when he does school papers like this, work projects, tries to put his name on someone else's news article? Better to learn now that writers don't do this stuff and get away with it. Or am I totally wrong and this is allowed here? Ok, enough serious. Clown hats and moose running naked. Al 19:55 12 8

What he did was remove the Rap song (you can find it at 13:51 today and before on the MC Shakespeare page) that he had up this whole time, and substituted other stuff from other sources, which tucks the song I spoke of here within the history of the page, which makes me look like a whinerhouser. Which I am. Puts me off from talking to noobs for, ah, 20 minutes or so. I wish someone had adopted him to show him some ropes. Al 22:03 12 8

Specifically concerning this diff:
Sorry, it was I who removed that section heading originally (diff). My rationale was that the term "popular culture" was not sufficiently relevant to that section's style. Can you think of a better title for the section? --Pentium5dot1 (semi-retired) t~^_^~c 18:25, August 17, 2010 (UTC)

Re: Tombstone[edit | edit source]
Hey dude, sorry to be the dude who tombstoned your article, hope you dont take it personally. I feel the article is feature worthy but I just feel a few changes could be made here and there to make it better. I didn't mean to kill your chances but felt it could be a featured article with a few more tweaks. Favorite articles (besides the ones I wrote) its hard to say. I remember the 2001: A Space Odyssey being one I really enjoyed and recently I read a very clever article on Nancy Drew. Water Polo... With Sharks! is really up there for me I havent read it in years but I still remember laughing hysterically when I read it. How about yourself? --Dr. Fenwick 18:32, August 17, 2010 (UTC)
- Please, if you can give me a tip on Tombstone, all advice welcome. I see VFH as almost another pee review process, only many people get to look at the page and offer advice rather than just one. I've changed many of my pages during that process. Nice, I like to check out other people's favorites, and will do so--only one I've read in 2001 which is one of our greats. Some I really enjoy are the user page of Unregistered user which tells the story in the pics and the captions, [[The Camera Obscura Collection of Hans Helmuth Saltzman (1602-1668) which a one-time user put up and I tried to get featured a few months ago, Fluffy Bunny World by Ape which is on VFH now. I'm going to have to make a list of 10 or so one of these days. The most interesting recent page to me is Rabbi's BIBLE!. Must sign off soon, and I'll check out those pages next time. Al few minutes later
I'd suggest either seriously re-working "Tombstone cutters working class heroes" or just getting rid of it entirely. Also you can add more to the Famous Tombstones bit, its such a great concept but I feel you don't capitalize on all of it. I think you make a few changes here and there and I'd be more than willing to vote it featured. --Dr. Fenwick 19:48, August 18, 2010 (UTC)

So... I finally read what I wrote, and... man, I am so sorry. O_o I had no idea I get so meandering and useless... um... yeah. I'll try to be, if not not necessarily less crazy and out of it, at least more helpful in the future. ~ *sqlorsh* (harass) (stalk) -- 20100826 - 02:45 (UTC)
- What? No, you did very good. I took lots of your suggestions and expanded and/or cut things from the page. It turned into a very good page, and that it failed on VFH has no reflection on the multi-layered text of the article. To spoof Christianity and Christ does things to people's inner-being, especially those who live in the U.S., and the reaction to reject comes quickly to them. It's a good page made better by your review, so you can put your promises between bread and mustardize them. Thanksya, Aleister 18:03 26 8
- ....are you sure? I mean... well, okay, you would be the one to know. It was just so... so... eeeh. The poor Jesii, though. Not all of them are so terrible, and yet they must all suffer for it? For shame. Although you might be able to address what they said to it and try again. Who knows... and maybe next time I might not be too lazy to vote. (But probably not. Not not too lazy, I mean. And who knows which way my mood would take it, anyhow... it is a rather strange article.)

Two things, really. Two articles.
So I was going... to ask you... about chores.
What do you consider chores? Which do you try to get out of/not do altogether? How do you go about it?
And now to ask... you about... disguises.
Namely, what should actually go behind the disguise? The article there is mildly atrocious, to say the least. I don't suppose I could get you to write a new one? ~ (talk) (stalk) -- 20100828 - 14:31 (UTC)

My lucky day[edit | edit source]

I started writing THIS and then found there is already another article. But I don't know whose article as many have worked on it. It would be good, perhaps, to combine the two into one article. Categories![edit | edit source]
I noticed you were categorizing images (thank you thank you thank you), and you ran into some image categories that weren't subcategories of the main image one. If you see them, would you mind adding Subcat to them? It makes it easier to find image categories if they're all subcats of Category:Images, because then we can just head over there and there's a nice list of them. Also, we have separate categories for files and articles, so please don't use regular categories on the files! For example, we have Category:Automobiles and Category:Automobile Images, so a file would only be in the latter category. All the file categories say stuff 'images' in the category name, so they aren't super difficult to find. Thank you so much for your help!!! Love,
- Gulp. I was just over at your digs writing you about subcats. When I signed off, I found this! Thanks and you're welcome for all the above. I added subcat Images to some of the mixed article/pic categories because that's where the photos live, say in cat. Soldiers. Or Hipppies. Since there will only be a limited number of Hippie pics, wouldn't it make sense to subcat Images to that page and just pile all Hippie links in the same place? I'm new to subcats, so that was what made the most sense to my noobness. Thanks again. Al minutes later
- That's a good point, but we have about five zillion uncategorized images I just started sifting through the other day. If you find a few hippie pictures (more than like, one) and you know there's already some under Category:Hippies, you can - ohmygosh, this is the fun part - make an image category! Then you can add all of the hippie images you found so far, to that category, and then feed it more images when people upload them! 'course, after you add them to the image category, remove the article one. If you're not cool with makin' a new image category, you can always use Category:Images of people, until we have enough to really justify makin' an image category.
- If there's a few images, there's probably a mountain of the same thing hiding elsewhere on the site, so settin' up categories for them usually works best. When makin' a new category, make it a subcat of Category:Images, so we can check the list for it later! Thanks! Love,
- Ahhhhhhh! Runs screaming. Why not just leave the images on the category, I've seen that many many times in my journeys to categories all over the spectrum. Like Surfing, a category I created a week or so ago, and Jewelry, I just loaded both articles and pics to them. If we make an Image category for each minor category, then it would be a double-tap to the seeker, no? They might not even bother to look further if they're not totally savvy of how categories work. All in one place seems reasonable for most, and since I started with, for example, Soldiers, and am going to go through the rest of the war stuff shouldn't I continue that way, but wait. . . Runs screaming again. Aleister 00:17 20 9
- Um, but Aleister. There's already a way it's done. You can't just say "nope, I'm gonna do it this way because I already have been." There's a way it's done. And you should do it that way. Or there will be a massive inconsistency in the categories which you just mentioned. -RAHB 00:36, September 20, 2010 (UTC)
- I asked, shouldn't I continue doing that. I haven't added one pic to a category since this discussion started. Should I create a Surfing Images category as well as a Surfing category?? Please go through about 20 categories at random and see if there aren't pics and articles within the same page. What if there are only 10 articles and 10 relevant pics, should two categories be created each time? Al minutes later

I think that must have been addressed at the creation of the code to create categories. The categories are actually set up to take both. One section is called Pages (automatically) and the other section is called Media (automatically). Pages and Media. So if the code that creates a category does this automatically, when did that policy for limited numbers of pics change? Aleister minutes later
- Yes, they take both. No, we don't do that. Please stop arguing. If this is too hard for you, I'll do it. I don't mind. Love,
- Well, I've been doing it since I got here and nobody has ever mentioned it was the "wrong" way. Hundreds of times I've come across a pic, and categorized it.How else can we find a pic of a topic if nobody has made a separate Image category? Could you please point me to the "we don't do that" writ-in-stone rulebook? Thanks. Aleister 12:04 20 9
- Woah, woah, woah! Woah. WOAH! Woah, woah, woah. There are no fucking rules about how to categorise stuff (namely images). Hi, I'm glad you're open to me making changes to your page. Right now I've just got some concepts in my head, so I'll just let those ferment in my mind for the next little while. (I've got some work to finish up before I tackle this page.) As you suggested, I'll do the work on my user page, and I'll bounce the ideas off you when I'm done. Nice to meet you too. P.S. No, I didn't click the links until after you had mentioned it to me. A neat idea, and I think I understand the effect you were going for. I'll keep it in mind when I start writing. The babe over there on the right is nice too.
- Thanks for coming by. And I'll look forward to working with you, but like I mentioned, this page is a quasi-feature, so large wholesale changes may be reverted. Maybe better to add than to subtract. I'll keep watch of your page as it goes along. Ferment well! Aleister few minutes later
