- Nomination - Aside from his obvious qualities as a writer Cajek doesn't get the respect he deserves for the work he does on Uncyclopedia. Always helpful to other writers both established and newcomers Cajek has been one of the real workhorses that has seen Uncyclopedia go from strength to strength this year. -- Sir Mhaille (talk to me)

- This is not an easy year to vote. There are quite a few here that I admire for what they did this year...in a non sexual way...or such. But I think that Cajek has initiated the Pee Review revolution which revitalized a part of the site that was dormant for...well...forever! I think Cajek injected us with new energies (as well as sexually transmitted diseases) which managed to make us look, if only for a short while as not being the worst. Unlike the majority of us Cajek cared. ~ 13:21, 16 January 2009 (UTC)

- Nomination - 84.194.239.31 was the one that prophecy had spoken of, the one who would bring balance to the wiki. The awesome 84.194.239.31 was always there to state the obvious, out-grammar anyone and talk existentially. Maybe he's still there, lurking in the shadows, ready to act, to do what is necessary. 84.194.239.31, he was the coolest IP of 2008. He said "nobody has to worry about what happened to me" but still I wonder what happened to him. -Sockpuppet of an unregistered user 01:03, 1 January 2009 (UTC)
- For - I know I'm trowing my vote away, but I can't stand 84.194.239.31 not getting some of the credit he deserves. I wouldn't be able to decide who else to vote for anyway. -Sockpuppet of an unregistered user 13:31, 2 January 2009 (UTC)
- For the creation of IP of the Year and this guy being the first. 84.194.239.31 is a stellar chap, killing a rather pesky troll for us and being exceptionally helpful before vanishing off into the distance, preferring the anonymity of his searchable, easily identifiable IP address. This award should be saved for an actual Uncyclopedian, which means that the user must be a MUN at least, in my book anyways. However, this guy still deserves some recognition. (I mean it, IPotY would be awesome, can we make that happen?) —Sir SysRq (talk) 21:11, 7 January 2009 (UTC)

- Comment. I just want to express my gratitude to MrN for being one of the most effective and essential Uncyclopedians to the site for the past year or so. Had Mordillo not been as awesome as he is, my vote would go here. I hold MrN in high regard as being one of the members who sparked a good chain reaction of users doing maintenance and helping to keep the site going, and think he was quite possibly the single most important user in that particular "revolution", as it were. As such, he deserves at the very least, this statement of praise. -RAHB 18:55, 3 January 2009 (UTC)
- For - hard choice for me to make this year, some fine contributors. His finer points are detailed by others above. The only thing I would add to this is that the work he does has been achieved without the "benefit" of admin rights, which speaks for itself. -- Sir Mhaille (talk to me)
