Unfortunately, the situation in the kitchen has not changed. I made it a point to not create a single dirty dish in this sink for the very purpose of demonstrating to you that the mess in the kitchen is not somehow our problem but is, in fact, your problem. Technically, that makes it my problem as well but said problem is one of inconvenience as opposed to the complete negligence inherent in your failure to clean up after yourself. It's also come to my attention that you and your friends have been urinating in the kitchen sink, despite the fact that it's full of dirty dishes. while your reluctance to touch the dishes is understandable it does not form a basis for me to empathize with you. While I shouldn't be bargaining with you again, I'll agree to clear a path to the bathroom sink so that everyone will have a place to urinate. All you need to do is simply dispose of the dirty dishes. We'll buy more at the flea market.

Well, I'm hella busy right now IRL. What I can give you is some advise:

Make sure you find the article funny.
Make sure a lot of others will find it funny. (Preferably "others" also including a couple regular Uncyclopedia users—they usually know a thing or two about humour.)
Avoid randomness, unless it's really funny.
Make sure your article is consistent. (Have a basic concept etc.)
Make sure it's funny. (Very important.)
Alternatively, you can try to substitute humour with wit, parody or satire, but this can be rather tricky. Try to be funny for the most part.
Profit!

Additionally, How To Be Funny And Not Just Stupid has some good tips. And if you want help with a particular article, there's always Pee Review.

Game on: Coming soon to a theater near you! The Strangest Super-Heroes of all! "The X-Heirs"! The only other item that had any possibility of a story was a reprint of the first issue of the original X-MEN. I didn't see anything relevant that it could be the vehicle for - until I saw this morning's story about Marvel Inc legally countering the attempts by Jack Kirby's heirs to essentially retain a share or outright ownership of anything the deceased ever breathed on. The original X-MEN battling Magneto in issue #1 is suddenly a prime vehicle for Jack Kirby's heirs battling Marvel. X-MEN is pretty much seen as mostly being Kirby's baby, so that works. I have a story board finished but it's going to take some research to quantify the biggest complaints about Marvel in a small space. Portraying Kirby's heirs as being undeserving leeches is the easy part.--

Feedback

OK, now that I've had a little time to step back from the comic I see the following problems:

Iceman/crackhead = weak, predictable, boring.
The other X-Men = I like Cyclops/gambler and Angel/gold digging playboy. Probably should find a better opening line for Angel. The beast is still a little meh as "party animal" IMO.
The incest jokes: bad concept or needs better dialog?
Magneto starts funny and then falls into unfunny storytelling after the TV screens.
The "straight" ending (yellow panel at the end) is humor weak.

Anything you can add to that? I like roughly half of it but the weaknesses seem to neutralize or detract from the funny that is there.-- 11:13, January 21, 2010 (UTC)

I agree with most of your points. Snowman doesn't really draw much attention. I didn't get much laughs from the incest jokes. Maybe that's just because incest is such a recurring theme in contemporary movies and TV series, like Toto le Héros for example. I did like the chimpanzee joke though. Magneto could use a couple more funny lines. The ending is not terrible, but indeed it lacks humour value. However, I'd like to add a number 6. which I think is a major issue. The comic's concept only becomes obvious when informed about Kirby's heirs. Anybody who doesn't know about that might still consider it an enjoyable read, but probably won't have understood much of the story. —Sir Socky (talk) (stalk)

Also please forgive me for posting the same notice on more than one person's talk page. Uncyclopedia:Imperial Colonization finally finished its latest effort, Transformers. Actually, it had been on IC for four months and no one objected to a couple notices about it being moved to mainspace. So I asked admin and IC member MrN9000 to move it, which he did, complete with talk page and history, which I greatly appreciated. Then I wondered when someone would update the list at Uncyclopedia:Imperial Colonization/The Big Board, but saw the note "Tagstit, SysRq, and Gerry are the only ones who need to be editing this template." But sadly, the most recent Uncyclopedia edit by a member of the trilogy was two months ago. MrN9000 basically said if it was OK with active colonizer Optimuschris it was OK with him if I updated the list, which was all I planned to do. But then MrN said "Consider yourself the new director of IC." I really appreciate his help and encouragement, but all I was trying to do was get the list updated, and now I'm afraid I may have unintentionally stepped on some toes. I would be happy to carry this through the next article, if that's not a problem with anyone in IC, but never intended to cause a conflict with anyone. I've done a little playing along the lines of this. If the link is in a line of it's own it's really easy to do. If it is in-line however it becomes a little trickier - assuming of course you want it in colour that you define. If you need me to create a hack then steal what I've just done for that last link.
