Why is User talk:DungeonSiegeAddict510 full protected? Wouldn't it have been enough to block the IP (though I'm not sure why you did that either) and then check the 'don't allow user to edit own talk page' or whatever it says box on Special:Block/DungeonSiegeAddict510? I'm just confused - I'm sure you have your reasons but I can't figure out what they are, and it seems kind of like you don't want Denza to come back or something, since you've taken away one way for him to appeal the block. Sure, people continuing to comment on what is essentially a closed matter is a huge waste of time. He is never being unblocked especially after his socking comments and comments towards Puppy. If he wanted to properly appeal his ban, saying "I have proxies" and asking Puppy to die wasn't clever, he needed to say he was sorry and it wouldn't happen again. I locked it to avoid more drama from other users and other IPs he attempts to edit with.

I thought we had one of those. Somehow I don't recall what I had to do when creating this account, though, which is the only one I ever created on this wiki. Another solution, which I've implemented on simple: and be:, is to put an entry into MediaWiki:Titleblacklist that blocks all accounts with more than 10 letters in a row, as you can see here.

True - my thinking was that since most usernames are not more than 10 letters long (this actually doesn't include numbers, spaces, punctuation or anything that isn't a letter, so Llwy-ar-lawr for example would get through) but this wiki as it is somewhat active would probably see more of a disadvantage from doing that unlike Simple Uncyc and Paudurapedyja which have seen almost no new user registration in the time I've been admin there.
Say, could you block some sort of range like 74.63.112.* instead of the individual IPs, because I think there were at least three and you didn't get all of them. I don't know how experienced you are with range blocks - I've done it a little but I haven't got a clearer recommendation in this case. Since we now have a title blacklist and you started a forum about how we have so many spam users, I'd like to ask if you'd be willing to add a few lines to the blacklist, as follows:
The first entry blocks FirstnameLastname accounts, which are, with very fewexceptions, spambots. The second and third are two patterns that seem to be used by the same programs over and over and probably are too specific to go with real users.

I've blocked her on Simple English Uncyc for creating a pile of vandalism pages, creating a sock just to vandalise, and blanking pages (including my talk page) with obnoxious statements. [1] In the deletion log you can see all the junk I had to delete. I don't know why she did this but I think it may be in response to this forum I started that resulted in her getting desysopped on Daemonica. Speaking of which, you used to do some good stuff there. If you want to come back and do more stuff I'll ask that your rights be restored.

You're apparently the founder of the channel #s-e-uncyc, and since I seem to be an admin on simple uncyc I think it would be appropriate if I were on the irc channel as well even though nobody ever does anything with it, just because because, and I think since you created the channel you should be able to set flags and such.
You used to be an admin on Encyclopaedia Daemonica, and you got desysopped for no reason at all a while back. I was thinking of just restoring your rights, since you did ok stuff with them, but since you haven't been around there lately I thought I should ask.

So it seems nothing much goes on these days that's really newsworthy. Sure things happen, new users stop by, edit a while then leave, people write things, but...nothing really notable, you know. But we won't write an entire article about how nothing's happening and how depressing that is because, well, it's depressing, you know? This forum resulted in our acquiring a new admin, Llwy-ar-lawr, who is still all over the place just like she was before but now shows up in different places and is making this slow website go a little faster to hide how slow it is (we hope). There are rumours that she sleeps sometimes, but they have yet to be verified. She also happens to be writing this text right now, which is a terrible conflict of interest so we can't say any more on the matter; this means we will distract you with more pointless drivel about nothing. Now back to our regularly scheduled commercials, which we've forgotten to serve you. We bet you were really missing them because they're so yummy and informative. And yellow. That comes from the pee, which is high in nice nutrients like phosgene phosphorus...we think. Probably. We're telling it to you as a fact, though, because we're never wrong.

Originally Shabidoo's very controversial idea, the Retro Week has grown to become the time when all the Uncyclopedia administrators take an official rest from their site work, unless they are also the UnSignpost editors. You don't believe us? Check the recent changes!
So the 2014 Retro Week opened with a really big tree. A very big one. But it is pretty much everything original about it. It pursued with Slender Lorises, that are able to live in wet and dry forests, next - with Template:Boner, which we are not going to use in this UnSignpost, no matter how many times you ask us. Then came the turn of Hardwick Fundelbuggy's Userpage, featured not because it was funny, but because its author had written a lot of funny stuff (following this logic we can feature sandboxes and user contributions). Finally, we saw the Fire Hydrant spreading its waters around Uncyclopedia and slowing down - if not destroying - the servers.
Amongst other pros of the Retro Week are the facts that it gives users a good excuse for not voting on VFH for a while, because nobody does this anyway and that it is keeping our main page busy, while we are making an UnSignpost for you.
Thank Sophia, it happens only once a year!

Uncyclopedia is like a moldy pile of kelp right now. Not a lot of fun is happening right now. Or is it? Well probably not, but the UnSignpost is back! You know that newspaper that occasionally makes appearances on your talkpage that you also totally read. More than ever this newspaper will be uninformative, filled with articles that seem to endlessly ramble on about nothing in particular just to serve as filler and most importantly it will be thenewspaper written by barely literate drunks.
Of course, you must ask, will this project actually be happening on any regular basis? You bet! Certain people who are extremely vain, as proven by the writing himself into the article will try and deliver you an UnSignpost every single Friday! That is of course, unless he gets devoured by a moldy pile of kelp. Then it might not happen. Other writers may also take part in this wonderful franchise, but let's face it, it's more likely that you read this entire article through to the end, than people actually write for this place anymore.
Once again we find ourselves in that horrible, horrible mode of electing new administrators for Uncyclopedia. A process that never fails to see at least three users permanently quit the site because of "hurt feelings". But apparently, this time will be different. Although we say that every time, we truly mean it this time. Every drama stirrer will win an all expenses paid trip to RAHB's secret rape dungeon where they will have their anus mercilessly pounded with a stick coated in pieces of broken glass, and to top it off, the glass pieces will have been soaked in the HIV virus before hand.
Users are all encouraged to vote, because unlike with the presidential election, your vote counts! Further more, not every single candidate is a loser, most of them are, but not all of them. Voting commences on August 1, so get ready for some old fashion in your face comedy tragedy!

Just as lame and boring as a horse race, except without the gambling.
Predictably (and because let's face it, nothing else is happening on the site), the admin election takes the lead story. For those of you living under a rock and those that are just plain slow, Kip the Dip is leading the race by far (+19) and should win be a few lengths, this is definitely because of how hard his jockey is riding him. Cat the Colourful is trailing at second with +13, followed by Leverage at +8 and Banzaikitten at +6. Other notable mentions include Aleister, Mr-ex777, Lost LabyrinthMattsnow and DungeonSiegeAddict510 who have all succeeded in avoiding the highly embarrassing score of getting +1 or less. VFH voting takes very effort and makes it, at the very least appear, that we have active users. So get down there some time today and vote on all the articles. Some might say you need to actually read them first, well this is (probably) a good idea, but do bear in mind that we don't actually know if you've read it or not. And unlike, when you didn't read Hamlet in your 9th grade English class there is not going to be a surprise test on the matter.[citation needed]
You should also go vote on Frosty's article(s) currently on VFH, it's the least you could do after he SINGLE HANDEDLY wrote this terrible newspaper for you. About the mirror wiki

I have questions regarding the mirror wiki
Will it ever get updated? I mean I get that it is an archival site, but archives sometimes do get clean ups and delete the deleted pages once in a while. I was wondering if somebody is watching it because I think certain deleted articles that had no place in both wikis still have no place even in the archives.
Is there a specific timeline for updating or does it never get updated at all?

As I explain here, this article is a direct import from the Wikia site. It isn't this particular writer's work as the edit history reveals over there. In reference to a discussion with RAHB back in January 2013, this importing of articles (unless you were the author) was officially discouraged here. Not that much over a year ago, TKF left us with the classic "I'm quitting forever in a highly obnoxious and auto-fellating manor". For about 66 seconds Uncyclopedians everywhere were sad, we all fapped in sadness at the loss of our beloved TKF and things were never going to be quite the same again. Then we all thought to ourselves "good riddance, I hope he contracts Anthrax and dies."
No surprise, but he has come back under the highly illusive nickname "Argylesocks" which is obviously not somebodies sockpuppet because it contains the word socks in it. I mean, if you were a sockpuppet would you give it away so easily? Flawless logic! He can also be found on IRC chatting casually under the "dcik", showing his support for "The Dyslexia Support Foundation".
Head over to his user page and talk page to find out details about his awesome "Uncyclopedia Retrospect project" which is probably some grand social experiment documenting the life and times of hopeless losers on the internet, but hey it SOUNDED COOL.
Uncyclopedia has recently had an infestation. An infestation of drama. Drama is bad mmkay? Aside from the obvious fact users get banned, users quit and people proceed to hate each other to the point where you would rub hot English Mustard into their prolapsed anus if you ever saw them in the street, drama distracts you from writing. As does reading the UnSignpost. But reading the UnSignpost is more constructive as the constant not so subliminal messaging telling you to write articles is plastered everywhere. WRITE ARTICLES.
But drama can be entertaining when coupled with cheap scotch and buttered popcorn to the humble obverser. But mainly it's bad, so stop it. No matter how funny you think your drama mongering will never compete with Asperger's Syndrome is no laughing matter... ...and the sequelrest of the trilogy.

This week's biopic is Chaoarren, which if you haven't meet him yet... You suck basically. He can be found on IRC, occasionally editing the Wiki and frequently reporting established users to Ban patrol because "they made fun of him in his pink skirt" or "he smells funny". Chaoarren has also done the highly laughable feat of running dead last in the most vote rigged admin election in history, where losers like Kip the Dip and Colin actually stand a chance of winning losing.
He's also a noob that hasn't buggered off yet. I wish more of them were like you Chaoarren... I really do...

Can you please read the bottom of my talk page, and then the VFD nom where they are trying to get rid of Miley Spears excellent page 'Preteen sluts', and I talk about why it should be kept (and if anybody reading this website jumps, please consider voting on VFD to save it, for the Discordian American Princesses in all of us - a reference to its author, user:Miley Spears.). Can you unblock me there, because I have edits to still do on the present dialogue which Spike doesn't seem to know how to handle well (he handles lots of things well, but has blind spots in his communication abilities, imnho, and with a banstick in his golfbag he lashes out rather than discusses.) Not really sure unblocking you and participating in a rather tedious discussion on Wikia is a good idea considering I just recently declared that I wouldn't really be making community decisions for them. Yeah I agree SPIKE is far too trigger happy when words on talk pages would do the same job (something I've tried discussing with him before), but to unblock you after saying "I'm not taking part in community discussions anymore" seems somewhat contradictory. The other site is poorer for you not participating as much, giving Spike even more of a free hand when he dwells in areas in which his judgement is lacking. No admin is stepping in to stop him at these points (for example, he has a way of just rewriting policy pages when an issue seems to be going against him). There is a new crop of censors signing up as members, so if you and others here can go in and at least save or prolong 'Preteen sluts' life on VFD that would be cool. It's at minus four now and SPikE will likely huff it as soon as it hits five (when he wants an article gone he lets it linger on VFD for many hundreds of hours until it goes his way, but one like this he'd likely huff as soon as he can, out of ignorance of what satire is imnho). Oh well. All we can do is feature it here, so as to protect it from the new crowd signing up and huffing what they consider 'bad' when in reality it's a perfectly written page. Aleister 12:20 10-8-14

So, I'm alone on a sinking lifeboat, abandoned by all those who knew when it had a sense of satire. That page, 'Preteen slut' is a masterwork of saying and allowing the reader to experience exactly the opposite of how it's written. That's a major aspect of satire. And SPIKE now has a couple or few people who've signed up, one of them to solely go after what he's perceiving as pre-teen or teen sex, who doesn't know squat about satire and I was trying to educate him when SPIKE banned me for a day. Banned like a beast of prey for removing his comment on my talk page on a topic I was coming on to post and edit my remarks to the noobie censor, who I was a bit of a dick too (but not enough to ban, enough to point out the error). So can a couple of you at least go over and vote to Save 'Preteen slut'? And since I'm banned, and being told by Anton that Miley didn't write it, I can't go correct my mistake on the page - the mistake being on who the author is but in no way lessening the satire on the page. The problem is he has blind spots and won't admit it. He has almost always, and this goes back a long way, misanalysed my motives and then accuses me publicly in user space. Not only does he misanalyse them, and then publicly spew the garbage that's going on in his mind, but he usually gets it "opposite wrong". My real thought process is usually just the opposite of what he says. It's a phenomena I've seen before. He has a vastly different and more restrictive take on things than was average for uncy a few years ago. That wouldn't be bad if the rest of the admins would kick his ass sometimes and tell him where he's wrong. VFD'ing 'Preteen slut' shows, to me, a lack of understanding of satire. But for SPIKE not to remove it once another legit point-of-view has been explained to him - as I did on the article's nominaton - to continue to VFD it knowing that another logical point of view exists, is hurting the core of wikia uncy. On one level pov, the page is about preteen sluts who want to suck your dick. That's the one he wants to VFD, and the noobies, especially the so-far single-issue noob who talked him into it, don't understand the concept of satire, imnho. Good satire has the lesson buried within the words, and SPIKE and the Spikettes miss that entirely. Hollywood is making preteen sluts out of child actresses, with the willing consent of their money-hungry parents, so the big studios can reap in box office profits by using the meme from time to time. glug glug glug, three men, in a tub (uncy wikia at the present moment). I suppose I am one of the "Spikettes" mentioned above. I took both your point of view and Spike's point of view into consideration when reading the article for myself. I thought the article went too far, and a good comedian knows where to draw the line. If I frequently show solidarity with Spike, it is because I think for the most part, admins should present a united front. But if I think he was wrong in banning someone, I will unban or reduce their ban. Most of the time when he rewrites policy documents, he is closing loopholes that people have taken advantage of. He does tend to see things in black and white rather than shades of grey, and does get heavy on the banstick, and is sometimes too exacting in his standards, especially on the newbies. I haven't been around as much lately to help moderate these tendencies, I'm afraid. What the actual fuck. Ok yeah I'll repeat Banzaikitten a bit; If you are unhappy with SPIKE (I'm guessing several of you are as you keep coming to my talk page to complain about him) then please leave Wikia and come here.
First of all, we don't ban people unless they are way out of line, not if they are asking for help.
Second of all, he is not going to change. I was opposed to his opping from day one, his behavior at the time was particularly shitty towards Sir Peasewhizz and frankly, his fucking loss. Sir Peasewhizz (or Kamek98 as he was known then) has written several featured articles and over 80 articles in total and all SPIKE did was bitch and moan whenever he was asked for help. I opposed his opping, I'm still opposed to it but democracy and shit.
Third of all, I'm not going to do anything. As stated above somewhere my link to Wikia is little more than reverting vandals and publishing my articles there. I'm not going to undo bans (bans on Aleister, Shabidoo, etc have been unjust and pointless I agree, but I'm not going to overturn decisions and cause drama).

If you have a problem with a specific Spike's action (such as his message on ScottPat's talkpage), why don't you talk to him politely and explain how you feel about it?
