Don't know why you're hoping Frosty melts, but he does seem to be melting, unfortunately, and after all it is starting to be spring, at least in this hemisphere (though not in his, strangely enough). I believe we've been through this already, and though things are a bit different now that Socky and Frosty have faded off into nowhere and I've addressed what seemed to be the only concern that was specific to me...well I'm not really the one to be making a judgement on this, actually, and besides my keyboard is acting weird for some reason. And no we can't skip the formalities, we at least need some sort of vote - though no need for a vfs, we just need a forum. Like this one.

Comment - I see by the title of this forum (or not-forum or whatever) that we're only supposed to vote on this issue (whatever it is) if it's the case that we need new admins. However, I was getting a cup of coffee and missed the beginning of the meeting, so would someone mind explaining exactly what the issue is that we're voting on -- or not voting on -- here? I don't know if we need a new admin. We do need Llwy as an admin. She's earned it, deserves it, and we'd be better off giving her all the tools. So why wait? That was the point of the forum, when something is obvious why not just do it (look at how well that worked in Crimea). And with Frosty jumping ship there is a cabin open. Aleister 2:52 20=3=14

For. I may be biased here but I would like to say that from time to time I find stuff sits around for a bit too long (hours, days...) because no admin has shown up to fix it, like right now for example, and I think a new admin may be useful. I can also show you a screenshot or three of recent changes with no bold names but plenty of unresolved issues making themselves loudly known.

Llwy has been asking several times on irc for an admin to help to put images on protected pages where she can't as she isn't an admin, only just wait for days before an admin recognizes her questions,so opping her would not only help us others, she being as active as she is, but it would help her too with all the duties and stuff she needs to. I'm not indefinitely bailing FYI. But after having my month away from the site Uni has started and I can't actually access the fork there. I can however access Wikia, part of the reason I'm over there a lot. Dunno the logic, but this version violates certain Uni policies to do with pornography and humor, but Wikia doesn't. So I only get around to being here on the incredibly short spans of time that I'm at home and not busy with something or other. So whenever the first break is I'll come back for a bit.
