  • Comment: You can definitely see some people. Actually, there's a semi-famous shot of a shady-looking guy climbing over a fence - the Google Street View Car may have caught a burglary in progress. My favorite shot, however, is when the Google Street View Car went through a McDonald's and kept recording that they were driving down a street that they were not. You head down this road.. a little further... and suddenly you're in the drive-through, ordering six cheeseburgers, a cheeseburger with no pickles, a cheeseburger with nothing but pickles, two small cokes, five large cokes, a medium coke, two medium cokes, five large Sprites, two small Sprites, a large Sprite, a diet Dr. Pepper, and eight Chicken McNuggets.       • Yeah, that's about what I expect out of that template. But on the other hand, my first featured article was a rewrite of a terrible article where the only good part was the name and then I changed the name, but I wouldn't have come up with the idea otherwise. Crap articles with amusing titles may have very very little probability of improving, but that probability is non-zero. That's not to say that every one is worth saving.         • I actually do go look through the Idea template sometimes. It's not a total waste, actually, it's probably handy to have as a more descriptive form of rewrite. If someone sees something where they like the concept, and think they can do a lot with it, it's more likely to be good than someone just writing on a mere title basis.
