- Keep. We need something under this title, and anyone who clicks on it deserves what he gets.
It is random wibble, except that Section 4 (on the village of Anus, France) is excellent--because it's about something--and the article might lead with it. Predictably, Uncyclopedians spent all their time on Asshole (in the See Also list) and it wouldn't be a loss if this article redirected to that one. Spıke ¬ 12:28 28-Dec-10

Didn't she do 'Caramelldansen'? Weak keep. The "Uncyc universe" involves bending game characters to themes such as anal rape. The theme here, excess body hair, seems tame by comparison and the writing is good. Wikipedia:List of Touhou Project characters implies that RH, being from a PC-98 game, is now "obscure," but the blemishes in this article--occasional memes, a nonsense number, and lack of paragraphs and photos, could be fixed if more savvy users think it's important to have such a page. Spıke ¬ 00:13 25-Dec-10
- Are you aware of any "more savvy users" in particular? If none are found within a reasonable time, isn't that an argument for userfication? --Pentium5dot1 (semi-retired) t~^_^~c 00:59, December 25, 2010 (UTC)
- Am soliciting additional data, and not from anyone in particular. If I don't get it, it doesn't change the vote. If fans say no one plays this any more, it does undercut my vote and I'd flip. Spıke ¬ 01:09 25-Dec-10

- The status now is that there are two Delete votes, and my Keep vote. Spıke ¬ 00:47 26-Dec-10
- The status today is that I've done a copy edit and struck out the above comment that "the writing is good." It often said the same thing in two different ways and at one point inexplicably switched to the vivid present tense. I see what you're saying; apart from the two themes of armpit hair and a female-dominated world, the still-overlong narrative will appeal only to people who actually played specific levels of the game. I weaken my Keep vote and let's see if anyone else cares. Spıke ¬ 13:26 26-Dec-10
- Saved. I've added three photos--as it turns out that there is
touhou.wikia.com with lots more on these characters, which settles the relevancy question to my satisfaction. And have copy-edited the whole thing; while there are still boring plot details--and I don't know which are essential--there is now commentary of general interest (at least to general males cynically contemplating an all-female fantasy world). - Kill it with
fire bullet hell because it is too long and fancrufty/not well connected to the rest of the Uncyc universe. Note that there is already a cut-and-pasted userfied copy here, but if possible I'd like to have it userfied with the history properly preserved to the creator's userspace User:Shivers1231/Reimu Hakurei, in case someone wants to work on this further or transwiki it somewhere (Illogicopedia?). Eh, I'm with the processor, or whatever that is, on this one - too specific and fancrufty. If it cannot even approach a wider audience in its current form, what place has it in any general encyclopedia, let alone one where humour is paramount? Sure, everyone won't get every bit of anything, but the general point shouldn't be completely lost, either. 1234 ~ 02:21, 25 December 2010

- In response to SPIKE above, my understanding is that 1) the Touhou fandom doesn't align perfectly with the set of players of Touhou games; 2) Reimu has been a playable character in all the mainline (integer-numbered) games at least; 3) Marisa might be marginally better known among people who follow the fandom but don't play the games. I could be wrong, though, since I'm not usually involved with Touhou in any way.

Not to mention, some of it's just plain wrong. Inaccuracy can be funny, but here it makes it come off... hells, I don't even know. - My thinking was that its' route to being funny might be found in satire, which would require the original concept to be portrayed accurately (or at least for the intended audience to know it well enough for it not to matter). It reads like a sort of 'the emperor has no clothes'-category thing, but seems to have been written by someone who isn't entirely sure of the concept of what clothes might constitute. There's certainly some humour in the area, but none really raises its head in this article, and I think a future where someone is bothered enough to write about it properly will not involve this text. I For One Am Far Too Lazy To Even Think About It. For an online humour/humor repository, this is just, well, limp. As much as one can take the piss out of GNOME if one wishes, the effort of the developers deserves better. I certainly did not intend any insult to UnNews. It's even more fair and balanced than Fox. I know that a lot of people find "religion-ist" jokes funny, however doing the "dead serious parody" of a group of people is hard to pull off. The article reminds me of the brand of humor Stephen Colbert uses on the Colber Report to mock American conservatives, but the failing point here was in the delivery. Looking at the history of the article, you can see that several people have had to force feed the author English in hopes of assisting the delivery. Probably one of the biggest problems with the article is that the author is sending the message that he is going to spell out, to an ignorant audience, exactly why his belief is right, in the most self-admittedly offensive way possible. Finally, this article is entirely unnecessary, and the idea of it could simply be placed inside one of the articles that is already dedicated to Jesus, if it isn't already in one of them. - Keep. Good stub. Being such a passionate science wizz you could re-rewrite it?--Sycamore (Talk) 16:50, December 20, 2010 (UTC)
- Fixed. I was preparing to vote Delete on the grounds that there is nothing in real life to make an Uncyclopedia article on the proton any different from the ones on the neutron and electron, and all should be redirected to a good article on atomic structure. Then I read it; the article has all the humor that such an article can have: not excellent humor; mostly just puns on the use of "pro"--but it does play on all that we know about the proton: that it has a positive charge. I gave it a copy edit and stole an illustration from Wikipedia. It impressed me more the closer I read it.
That said, Sycamore, it usually falls to those of us voting Keep to make an article on VFD keepable. Spıke ¬ 17:05 20-Dec-10

Delete. As a science student who had chemistry as his class XII subject, I am very, very offended by the randomness of this piece of shit. Someone ought to do a check on the category of elementary particles. --Scofield 16:43, December 20, 2010 (UTC)

- Seems entirely made up, but I like it. It's random, but it also has a central topic that it sticks to... it's cute. 1234 ~ 01:45, 20 December 2010
- Keep. Per Lyrithya, who says it all and then repeats it during those three dot things (but out of range so we can't hear it). I did minor clean up edits, and got rid of George Bush's name, seen enough of that, thank you. Aleister 11:40 20 12
- Keep. Is a little better than a random stub about a nonexistent war written by people who don't know anything about a war; this one has a clever map (ah, for the days of Beany and Cecil, in which every episode did!) and brushes against the topics of the inability to plan a battle, the tendency to fight a war because of a set of issues that are completely different (I shot the sheriff, but I did not shoot the deputy), and fixation on minor issues (the pig) that is in no one's interest. All it lacks is to change the combatants to make fun of a real-world war about which those things were true. Please add it to one of our War templates, or no one will ever stumble on this again. Spıke ¬ 15:09 20-Dec-10
- Keep. I think it is a funny little article, and led me to look up the real Inaccessible Island, which is a cool little place. As Lyrithya stated, it does a good job sticking to the topic. I think the article talks about pigs so much because of the fact that several places on the real island are called "Pig". → I am greatSoup? 20:48 20-Dec-10 ←

- Side note to Iwillkillyou333: No, the war isn't a real thing, the island is an uninhabited nature reserve, which belongs to the United Kingdom. The only purposes to the island seems to be guano and eggs, harvested by a nearby island, and for scientific studies. → I am greatSoup? 20:48 20-Dec-10 ←
