Important Points to note

1. Read: Uncyclopedia:Deletion Policy
2. Please remember to sign your votes and edits! Use --~~~~ or the "Sign" button (Button sig.png). Signed votes are more credible.
2.1 Multiple votes on the same entry from one person (that is, one using puppet accounts) is considered agenda-pushing and is frowned upon. You will be sent to the Gulags for any egregious breech of this policy.
2.2 MAKE SURE YOUR VOTES ARE CLEAR. Please put your vote in bold text. Make all the witty comments you want, just make sure your vote is visible and explicit. Example: 'Fucking Delete this piece of dogshit article! It sucks!' --slack 06:27, 11 Aug 2005 (UTC)*
2.2.1 *(maybe not that explicit)
3. For pages that are created as a form of vandalism, or that are plagiarized, use QuickVFD.
4. For archived discussions, see the Archived VFD Discussions.
5. For a list of unused images, click here: Pages_for_deletion/unusedimages
6. If you edit VFD disruptively, you will be banned without warning. That sort of behaviour is annoying and unnecessary.
7. Each section header on this page normally contains a link to the item being voted upon; please use [[:Image: and [[:Category: ...]] instead of simply [[Image: or [[Category: ...]] when linking to non-text.
8. SysOps, please check the page history before deleting if you see something like it suspiciously changed titles. And please archive old entries when they start to clutter up the page; also, create a new archive page when the one in use gets ridiculously big. Also, get me a sandwich.
9. Latest candidate goes on top:

Pages for deletion

Asian Chicks

Delete: Nothing is stupider than a bunch of horny British expats who think they're funny. An article on Asian Chicks could be so much funnier than a list of fucking hackneyed stereotypes and Pataya jokes. --Dr. Destructo

Cash on delivery

Delete: Not funny and the claim of wikipedia plagarism rubs me the wrong way, true or not. --Sir gwax (talk) Signuke.gif 08:11, 16 Nov 2005 (UTC)

Zaphod Beeblebrox

Delete. The page is nothing but a Ballmer quote and a See Also: section. -- neoEva88 MUN F@H PS CM NS (talk.to-do)

Graham Coxon

I almost huffed it, but just in case, I googled it. Turns out that the guy is a member of the band Blur (I must have missed them while listening to Asleep at the Wheel). He's even warranted one of these crazy things: Wikipedia:Graham Coxon. So, does that mean that this article stays? It could use a little work, but then, couldn't we all. -- Sir BobBobBob ! S ? [rox!|sux!] Prince%21.gif 21:49, 15 Nov 2005 (UTC)

gah! The man's a musical genius but nevertheless i've read funnier obituaries than that article. Rewrite please, some kind soul with more comedy talent than me. And if we can't do that, get out the two-by-four and prepare for whacking season. Then huff it. Karma Llama 01:22, 16 Nov 2005 (UTC)

Keep, and undelete BBBBBBBBB! - I want these for every damn letter! Each one is funnier than the last.

Keep, but give a swift kick in the ass to anyone who makes any more AAAAAAAAA!likes. --EvilZak 06:37, 16 Nov 2005 (UTC)

Delete: Not only is it a clone, but it's not as well done as AAAAAAAAA! If it were better, I'd say keep it, but as is, it's unoriginal and half as funny. Any clone that isn't as good as the first dilutes the quality of the original. --Sir gwax (talk) Signuke.gif 22:29, 16 Nov 2005 (UTC)

This is a list of what the author doesnt like, from the way its worded. Immediate huffication with extreme prejudice--Nytrospawn 23:59, 13 Nov 2005 (UTC)

Contrary to what it may look like I like most of the stuff I put in there. It alredy has the editme template, so feel free to "neutralize" its point of view or change it as you like, but I think deletion for this article is a bit harsh. Acid Ammo 00:07, 14 Nov 2005 (UTC)

Pointless, unfunny, smells of fish, has 2 noses. Enough about me, the article's bollocks. SegwayVader has spoken, DIE BITCH DIE. Karma Llama 01:48, 16 Nov 2005 (UTC)

I like the reason for the counting crows ban, but I don't like the reason for the rest of the article. Deletezorz. Distorto November 16, 2005

Keep: I reformatted it a little to make it less hate inspiring. I'd say that it just needs a lot of work now, instead of being huffworthy. --Sir gwax (talk) Signuke.gif 22:45, 16 Nov 2005 (UTC)

Dylan

I'd reverted an anon-IP blanking this one, but in retrospect it's likely slandanity/rubbish and should be taken out and shot. --Carlb 21:35, 13 Nov 2005 (UTC)
I believe it should be kept. It does look stupid, but it could go somewhere, I think.

Deleted. Article was pretty much crap that belonged on someone's LiveJournal, and it seems to be a crap magnet to boot. It got stuck to my feet all last week, and I'm not in the mood to keep scraping it off. But I could be wrong, in which case, some other admin can restore it (and possibly ban me from playing Admin until Tuesday when I've settled down). -- Sir BobBobBob ! S ? Threeve, Zeight, Eleventy

The articles are too short on their own. I'll be combining them with the Making up numbers page. All the content I'll need has already been moved, so go ahead and delete these suckers. --neoEva88 23:09, 11 Nov 2005 (UTC)

Keep I wrote a different article on eleventy before you did, and I want to see it kept. --[[User:Nintendorulez|Nintendorulez | talk]] 01:50, 12 Nov 2005 (UTC)

Deleted I deleted these once for being unfunny stubs. neoEva88 whined, so I restored them until they were added to the main Making up numbers article he was working on, so that we had 1 big article, rather than 6-8 short stubby ones. A similar fate will be in store for the rest of the other number articles that I restored. Once they are merged into the main article, they can be whacked. And btw, the main article is starting to look pretty good. Kudos on taking small piles of crap and making them into a nice bit of artwork. Bone F clear.png Sir Famine, Gun Petition » 16:54, 12 Nov 2005 (UTC)

Comment One thing to watch when doing merge-and-delete is that you lose the article history and info on who wrote the darned thing. Merge and redirect is therefore often preferable if there's anything in the history worth keeping. --Carlb 04:18, 13 Nov 2005 (UTC)

Martian colony pages

Not that it really needs voting on, but where else can I post it...

MarsMoon1, MarsMoon2, Sedna, XC9-412 & Who knows, who cares? were pages relating to Martian colonies which have now been merged to that one page. I have changed the links and the five pages can be sent to the bat fuck insane MarsMoon1 residents and deleted. --theRealSheep 15:23, 11 Nov 2005 (UTC)

Short, dumb, & not worth Undic. -- T. (talk) 14:50, 11 Nov 2005 (UTC)

This page is only advertising some russian forum and not funny at all. And above all, it's telling the truth! Delete it since I don't think someone will be willing to rewrite it. I, personally, has no desire to be funny about some unknown club. --Norro 03:16, 11 Nov 2005

Delete it. Author only writing about himself. Not funny and really annoying. --Norro 03:16, 11 Nov 2005

Deleted The fact that I can tell it sucks even with my very limited Russian comprehension means it must have been vary bad indeed.

The same as previours - Delete this piece of crap. There is no fun to read someone's praises to himself. Well, it whould be fun if there was a good humor about it, but there is not. It's just annoying. --Norro 03:16, 11 Nov 2005

Delete It looks pretty bad, but my Russian isn't so good so I won't delete it outright. --Spintherism 18:43, 11 Nov 2005 (UTC)

Quiff

If this is an 'in joke' it should be marked as such. An admin has edited it at one point, so it must have some value I don't see. -- T. (talk) 05:33, 11 Nov 2005 (UTC)

I believe it's an inside joke for Robyn Hitchcock and Glen Baxter fans, and possibly some other landmark cultural figures I'm less familiar with... Keep? --Johnny C. Raven 08:00, 11 Nov 2005 (UTC)

Peppermint Patty

Didn't find it funny, at all, was short, random and somewhat based on the actual plot of the comic (And most likely stolen from Family Guy). Beleet. --ENeGMA 03:16, 11 Nov 2005 (UTC)

  • Perhaps not funny, definitely short, not at all random, definitely somewhat based on the actual plot of the comic as it is an attempt to be satirical and is a gesture at deconstructing Schultz's work, and not at all stolen from Family Guy, since I have never seen the show. Keep --Curious Larry 09:41, 11 Nov 2005 (UTC)
  • Keep It's not a bad little article, it just needs a little love! I hope someone does come along to make it longer and funnier but in the mean time, hopefully the picture I added will save it from deletion. Naughtyned 16:01, 12 Nov 2005 (UTC)

With the addition of the picture, perhaps I'll reconsider my hasty decision.  :) --ENeGMA 23:46, 14 Nov 2005 (UTC)

Expand or Delete: It's pretty short and not that funny. The picture doesn't make it a good article, just a mediocre article with a pretty girl. --Sir gwax (talk) Signuke.gif 22:22, 16 Nov 2005 (UTC)

Tourette's Syndrome

Highly insulting towards TS sufferers including myself. This article was deleted before but the author just put it back up again. --DrPoodle 23:11, 10 Nov 2005 (UTC)

Actually, the article was never deleted. You already lost the argument at the talk page, give it up. --[[User:Nintendorulez|Nintendorulez | talk]] 02:45, 11 Nov 2005 (UTC) --> The page was blanked by a mod so basically it was deleted. --86.141.88.50 22:58, 11 Nov 2005 (UTC)
Um, where was it blanked by a mod??? --Carlb 04:32, 13 Nov 2005 (UTC)
Delete Not because it's offensive (I wouldn't have you thinking I'm sensitive or anything) but because it's lacking any originality whatsoever. It's like the horribly prevalent ADHD joke "[throwaway text] - hey, let's ride bikes!" If I never see it again it will be too soon.
I'm not sorry if I've offended anyone with this vote. --—rc (t) 04:35, 11 Nov 2005 (UTC)
Keep The article itself isn't very funny at all but I think the talk page is hilarious. Juan Kerr 12:08, 11 Nov 2005 (UTC)
Comment Attempted partial rewrite to be the words of someone swearing at Uncyclopedia's authors for accusing them of swearing all the time, added {{SeeTalk}} and link to the real {{Wikipedia}} article up top. Now it's a mess of templates. :(
An article by this name was deleted once after being overwritten by User:DrPoodle with a "how dare you make fun of this" rant or utter rubbish a few times (user was warned, see User_talk:DrPoodle, and the text moved to the talk page). And yes, Adrian==DrPoodle, according to deleted article history, which was:

Keep? Taking this one step further, I vote to undelete the entire previous history of this article, on the grounds that the previous article, however lame, was likely deleted in error. From Uncyclopedia:Pages_for_deletion/archive14#Tourette's_Syndrome, there was only one vote to delete and the rest were to rewrite: --Carlb 17:26, 13 Nov 2005 (UTC)

From the original VFD (now closed) on the previous article by this name:

This article is NOT funny and is in fact very insulting towards me and other people with Tourette's Syndrome.
I have asked the creator to change it but he just deleted my plea and so I am putting it up for deletion.
-DrPoodle 03:45 30 Sep 2005

Got to be Keep for me. I have every sympathy for sufferers, I know someone who has Tourettes, but THIS is what Uncyclopedia is all about. 50% of Uncyclopedia is insulting to someone (or at least in very bad taste), I'd sooner see something like this here, where it belongs, that out there in the real world. -- Sir Mhaille Icons-flag-gb.png (talk to me)
Keep and keep the VFD tag that Carlb made up on it. That ices the cake. Bone F clear.png Sir Famine, Gun Petition » 02:41, 15 Nov 2005 (UTC)

And now someone has put my plea as the main article and covered it with swearwords. That is not funny. I wrote that plea to try and get the author to look deep inside himself and think about all the people he would be insulting over something they cannot control, and that is the petty response I get? I vote this article should be reverted to the one I wrote, which was funny and didn't insult anyone. Thanks to Mhaille for his comment "I have every sympathy for sufferers", but your other point is wrong. This stuff IS in the real world, and it is the internet and other types of distribution that is corrupting people's views. --86.141.88.50 16:22, 15 Nov 2005 (UTC)

Comment You say you had text "which was funny"? During the previous vote, you'd replaced the whole article with:

"Tourette's Syndrome" is the singular term for "Tourette's Syndromi" which are deadly super bacteria that are unique in the fact that they only affect other bacteria. A Tourette's Syndromi (named after discoverer John Tourette) is about 10 namometres wide, and lurks in washing-up detergents and soaps. It kills any bacteria it somes into contact with by releasing anti-bacterial bacterio that attack its outer shell and eventually rip the bacteria to shreds. Although scientists believe otherwise, Tourette's Syndrome are the only factor in soap products that gets rid of bacteria. A bacterio, is quite simply, a "foot soldier" in the whole range of bacteria hierachy. It is small and weak, often only living several weeks, but when in a squad with other bacterio, the whole unit (called bacteriom) stregth is fenominal and can easily kill off several million bacteria a day. Bacterio, although efficient at killing in squads, are miserably slow, and require the help of a Tourette Syndromi to help transport them around the bacteria battleground. In short, if bacterio are foot soldiers, Tourette Syndrome are the equivilant of a Battle Tank....

Keep The link to the wikipedia article is good enough to clear up misconceptions without ruining the article --Willy on wheels! 23:28, 15 Nov 2005 (UTC)

Neutral Personally I don't think it's that funny, and I agree that is objectionable. But when you showed it to the Vice-Chairman of the Tourettes Association, I am absolutely sure she would be appalled. That is not the point. This is a parody site. If you like, you can include a larger link to the Wikipedia article with a warning or something, but removal for the sake of conservative censorship is not what I will support. Adjusting people's thinking is one thing, censoring what you don't like is another, regardless of whether it is offensive or not. --Sophia 06:33, 16 Nov 2005 (UTC)

Fine, but I object to the fact that my words have been used as the main body of the text. Please can u revert the article to the one in the first place and not have my plea turned into a sick twisted parody. --DrPoodle 19:31, 16 Nov 2005 (UTC)

  • Technically, every word you commit to any page of Uncyclopedia becomes fair game, under whatever-the-heck license is granted. In fact, I remember reading something to the effect of "If you don't want your writing to be edited mercilessly and redistributed at will, then don't submit it here." Where did I see that? Oh, yeah, it's right in front of me at the bottom of the Edit page! In other words, if you don't want your deep emotions turned into a "sick twisted parody", you might not be playing in the right sandbox. -- Sir BobBobBob ! S ? 32 Quote templates at Uncyclopedia:Pages_for_deletion/templates

See this subpage for a list of 25 canned quotes and a variety of variable quotes. Culling time! Please vote on that page. --Splaka 10:34, 10 Nov 2005 (UTC) P.S. Should we have a separate folder permanently for templates specifically? They have their own VFD template, and that template could link people there to 'save' their favorite quote.

As a trial balloon, I've created the template:AnyPersonQuote this morning. This template can allow writers to put in any less-common quote-person's name for the quotation and could allow writers to have a variety of quoter-names while keeping down the number of different templates. (And it would save having to copy and paste code each time.) Comment; Explain to me why, have you checked the context that the picture is used in? are you simply calling it a racist image (as per your comment in VFP) because I used an image of a black man/ or the word 'brown'? please, indulge me. The article the image is used in is Worst 100 Porn Movies of All Time, and the name 'Bedknobs and Brown dicks' is a phonetic play on the film 'Bedknobs and Broomsticks'. There was, and remains, absolutely no racist intent in this image, is this simply an attack of the ultra PC brigade, what's the issue? --Caiman 04:17, 10 Nov 2005 (UTC)

Limited-use Templates

Template:Made up numbers and Template:Science3 are both templates with 0 humor and limited use. While Template:Made up numbers has a fair amount of linkage, the articles it is in are pretty stubby, and candidates for VFD themselves. I'm currently (ok, permenantly) on an excessive quoting and template rampage. I'm using up my remaining quota of guilt for this month by VFDing these instead of deleting them on sight. While I'm not sure about the usage of these particular templates, it should probably be taken into account that some templates may be barely used simply because they're not listed. MadMax 21:38, 10 Nov 2005 (UTC)

Ok, I finally found where it was that people decided to kill my entries. I think I have a right to be furious since a Vfd tage was never added to any of the articles and I was never informed, but I won't be.

Anyways, it was said that:

"While Template:Made up numbers has a fair amount of linkage, the articles it is in are pretty stubby, and candidates for VFD themselves."

Which I think is a ridiculus argument. (A) I was still working on the series of articles. (B) They weren't especially stubby. Plus, even if they were "stubs" take a look at some of the alphabet articles from Template:alphabet. Plenty are even more stubby.

So, I guess the only argument left is that the articles weren't funny. I can't say much to that, it's a matter of opinion, but I liked them.

Overall, I would at least like to at least be informed before my articles are deleted. I could at least have saved them an worked on them myself and maybe added the articles again later.

Go ahead and delete Brazillion too. --neoEva88 20:46, 11 Nov 2005 (UTC)

Okay, so, here's what I've done so far. I created the Wildean Calendar as a sort of repository for one-liner/stub month articles. I've added most of the months of the month template, however, there are more months that need to be added. The article is in need of a lot of help. The other thing I have noticed is that the articles for actually months seem about as shitty as some of the stubs for made-up months, in some cases they're even worse. So, I propose a Month-Project similar too of Sarducci's Jesii Project. IMO the deletion discussion is over, and so I plan on starting a discussion section for the months in the Village Dump. --neoEva88 23:05, 2 Nov 2005 (UTC)

I get it, all right. Cursed Page Series

The Cursed Uncyclopedia Article, Template:CursedUser, and Uncyclopedia:Curse

This page was deleted without a proper vote which is not policy for pages which have had so many edits. So I restored it and put it here. --Paulgb Talk 01:35, 27 Oct 2005 (UTC)

  • Against deletion - I think this (Uncyclopedia:Curse) is a decent article as long as you can keep it to one page. --Paulgb Talk 01:35, 27 Oct 2005 (UTC)
  • Poor attempt at cashing off of "The Ring". It's ugly, and stupid tot he point of unfunny. I have given the user a chance to make it presentable and he has invariably failed. Mediocre idea, executed very poorly. Can it. --Sir Flammable KUN 01:38, 27 Oct 2005 (UTC)
  • Keep it please The joke requires the use of two pages. But that is it. One page is cursed, the other is not and is a warning. The warning is Uncyclopedia:Curse. Oh, and there's the template Template:CursedUser but if you like, that one can be deleted and removed from the legend. ... I thought it would be kinda fun though ... to have a sort of group of cursed people you know? --Nerd42 01:38, 27 Oct 2005 (UTC)
  • I think the actual cursed page is unneccisary. It makes the legend less mysterious for the page to actually exists. I am against having more than one page for this idea. --Paulgb Talk 01:42, 27 Oct 2005 (UTC)

oh, and if this series does get deleted, please give me time to copy all the code and images of the latest version so I can host it on my own wiki when/if I start one. --Nerd42 01:40, 27 Oct 2005 (UTC)

I did not add the corrupt admin bit. Since, may I remind you, this is a wiki, you can edit that bit out. Come to think of it, maybe corrupt admins do exist, the way everything's getting burned instead of edited around here. Why not lock down the entire site? --Nerd42 13:28, 27 Oct 2005 (UTC)
  • I think perhaps the first article could be deleted. I think the last one about the cursed article should stay, though it begs for a major overhaul. I think we should keep the user template no matter what. --neoEva88 19:43, 27 Oct 2005 (UTC)

Save Yeah but the Mormons believe in more than one Jesus, don't they? Wouldn't deleting Jesus entries be a violation of their civil rights? I think in the book of Mormon it talked about there being many incarnations of Jesus on the planet at the same time or something. If anything, merge the Pirate Ninja Jesus to one of the Pirate Ninja pages or something, or add it for the talk like a pirate day or something. --Loke 22:39, 27 Oct 2005 (UTC)

  • Thanks for clearing that up. I must have read that in a different version of the bible. Hard to tell them all apart. Maybe reading all the Jesii articles has confused me a bit? --Loke 20:24, 2 Nov 2005 (UTC)
So with three vfd and one qualified save, can cowboy and franken jesus go? --Sarducci 16:02, 29 Oct 2005 (UTC)
FYI: The Book of Mormon does not say there were multiple re-incarnations of Jesus. The LDS Mormon church probably does though ... --Nerd42 20:24, 1 Nov 2005 (UTC)
Thanks for that fact. I thought I read or heard it from somewhere that somebody or some group or some bible said that Jesus can take on multiple forms. Maybe he can form his own musical band or baseball team? Anyone want to write an article about Jesii themed music bands or baseball teams? Now playing on the drums Jesus, on the horn Jesus, on the guitar Jesus, on the cowbell Jesus. Now playing first base Jesus, second base Jesus, third base Jesus, etc. :) --Loke 20:24, 2 Nov 2005 (UTC)

Keep. I wouldn't say it's worthy of deletion. --neoEva88 00:23, 25 Oct 2005 (UTC)
Delete My rationale:
1. We have more than enough quote pages and quotes already.
2. This one hasn't seen much action except by the author.
3. I don't think The Matrix is quotable in the way Oscar Wilde or Winston Churchill are. I mean, the "real" Matrix quotes are made up in the first place, they aren't as well known as those by Wilde or Churchill or Einstein, and they're mostly dumb to begin with. --—rc (t) 00:33, 25 Oct 2005 (UTC)

Keep I'm the author. The idea, (as noted in Talk:Making up Matrix quotes) is still being worked on ... but basically it's going to eventually be a page that reveals that all the quotes (from Oscar Wilde, Mark Twain and others) on uncyclopedia are fake, as if the Fake Quotes are like the Matrix and people actually believe they are genuine and need to "free their minds." Example:

"As long as the fake quotes exist, the Wikipedia Universe will never be free."

~ Morpheus on making up quotes.

It's not supposed to be as quotable as other making up quoets pages, it's supposed to make fun of them, and make fun of the Matrix philosophy books, which quote the movies in a similar fashion. --Nerd42 16:56, 25 Oct 2005 (UTC)
