Decepticon

Do something As you can see the article is called Decepticon , where as the article topic is about Deception. T_T --Nytrospawn 00:27, 12 Apr 2005 (EDT)

Ok, I've moved it to Deception - I didn't author this originally, and read the body, not the title :P. It's a pretty funny concept, the opposite of conception, so shall we remove the vote for deletion since the title is appropriate now :) --Badmicrophone 00:31, 12 Apr 2005 (EDT)

Yes Ill be crossing it out, I just felt disheartened that no one could come up with a Decepticon article--Nytrospawn 01:34, 12 Apr 2005 (EDT)

I didn't mean to say you had an agenda, I reworded that sentance so it makes more sense. What I meant was that you have some very political pages but you make fun of everything rather than choosing sides. I found some of your pages pretty funny, I remember exactly what they were, but I think one was Anarchists. --Paulgb Talk 09:30, 9 Apr 2005 (EDT)
People joke about politics every day, pollitical cartoonists put their cartoons in newspapers and the Internet, and nobody says they have an agenda. Thanks that you think some of mine are funny. Maddox is a bust, but maybe God-Fearing Republicans will do better? How about Missouri, If it is on the Internet it must be true, Ultra Jesus, or Social security? ;)--Orion Blastar 13:54, 9 Apr 2005 (CST)
Are there any plans to get any of those past first draft? It's a bit hard to tell whether something will become good before it happens.
I would like to, but I am not aware of all the Wiki editing that needs to be done. Mostly I fix typos and spelling errors I made, bad links, etc, before a second draft is made. I'd like to edit Maddox to second draft, but it has already been marked for deletion. It seems, I do not know what I am doing yet, so it is hard to say. --Orion Blastar 12:28, 10 Apr 2005 (CST)

What happened to this page? Why is there no history to undo? I can't find anything in the logs to indicate what happened to it or when. --Uvula Donor 19:26, 10 Apr 2005 (EDT)

Thats weird. For me it works if I access it at uncyclopedia.wikia.com but not at uncyclopedia.wikia.com. It also shows up in the search as normal. I changed it to what it should be, but whatever is going on is really strange. --Paulgb Talk 20:34, 10 Apr 2005 (EDT)
Where did my original article go, anyway? Not that it matters---Paulgb's is better anyway. BTW WikiMedia has issues with question marks in topic names, so the proper title should be Does the pope shit in the woods. --Keebler 20:47, 10 Apr 2005 (EDT)
Well, my mystery is solved---WikiMedia is also case-sensitive: Does the pope shit in the woods (which someone else wrote) is different than Does the Pope shit in the woods (which I wrote). --Keebler 20:54, 10 Apr 2005 (EDT)
Thanks for the fix, Paulgb. Keebler, thanks for redirecting your page over to the more developed article. I did think your one-liner was pretty funny, but I'm glad to see the original back. --Uvula Donor 21:07, 10 Apr 2005 (EDT)

Everything

Redeemed.

Rewrite nothing against it per se, but it's totally fucking with the categories, making it near-impossible to recategorise stuff. The joke isn't quite funny enough to justify the sheer irritation of finding it cropping up in every damn category we're got.--Machinecurse 20:41, 6 Apr 2005 (EDT)

Rewrite - how about faking the categories? You could probably "view source" on the current page, copy the html for the category table, and paste it in? --Acousvnt 21:00, 6 Apr 2005 (EDT)

Rewrite I agree... fake it. --147.126.95.147 21:03, 6 Apr 2005 (EDT)

Fake Well, you're ECMS, so it's your call. --Chronarion 22:49, 6 Apr 2005 (EDT)

Rewrite I've made a start, but the catgegories at the bottom still need to be re-written in the same manner as those at the top. For future reference, the way to link to a category without adding the present article to it is to put a colon before the word Category in the link, i.e. [[:Category:Food|Food]] will link thus: Food. --Bonalaw 07:17, 7 Apr 2005 (EDT)

Rewrite It was my fault actually, I conceived that thin but nevertheless funny IMHO joke to put it in all categories, only to realise that the haggle was more than the gain. Sorry for the inconvenience :P I'll pull my weight in added the categories new-style. --Lomedae 10:35, 7 Apr 2005 (EDT)

Done The only thing that I don't get is why Zork insists on going to its own new line at the bottom. Oh well. --Acousvnt 12:07, 7 Apr 2005 (EDT)

Keep I Moved these from QuickVFD because I quite liked em --Elvis 06:51, 6 Apr 2005 (EDT)
Doh? I don't get this one. Is it a reference to a song or something? --Goomball 07:06, 6 Apr 2005 (EDT)
Meh. It's a reference from a Muppet song, "Mahna Mahna". You can see a flash animation with the song as a soundtrack here: http://www.newgrounds.com/portal/view.php?id=17231 (click on the Watch this movie link on that page). The original video as performed on the Muppet Show in the 70's is funnier than the video in a minimalist way. Oh yeah, Delete; the entry doesn't belong here and isn't that funny out of context. --Uvula Donor09:10, 6 Apr 2005 (EDT)

Keep The picture r0x0rs. --Acousvnt 21:06, 6 Apr 2005 (EDT)

Keep keep the article but change the title. The article could be funny in context under another title, such as 'mahna mahna'. The article Phenomena could be written to be better --Heavenlybubbles 21:19, 6 Apr 2005 (EST)

If it's going to stay, I think it should stay as "Phenomena," because the humor comes from finding out that "Mahna Mahna" is the actual intention. Putting in the picture does help; my attitude towards this article is softened somewhat. --Uvula Donor 22:11, 6 Apr 2005 (EDT)
I'd just like to observe that the Muppets actually did the "Phenomena" gag themselves in Muppets Tonight with (if memory serves) Sandra Bullock. --Bonalaw 07:17, 7 Apr 2005 (EDT)

Delete big time agenda --Pnorf 19:15, 4 Apr 2005 (EDT)

Instead of deleting the article and canceling the POV, we should try editing the articles to reverse the bias. Just an idea of how to piss people off, I will think about how it could be done for this article, so far I 'got nuttin'. If it cant be done, big time delete --Talk 20:58, 4 Apr 2005 (EDT)

Darth Doofus

Delete Not funny, and seems to be pushinga an agenda. Anyways, the name of the article doesnt help much in getting it rewritten --Nytrospawn 16:18, 2 Apr 2005 (EST)

Calling George Bush a doofus isn't really pushing a political agenda, it's just making fun of the president. I found the article funny, the only thing that would make me vote delete is that there is already at least one other good article about George Bush and not much links to it (when somthing is that bizzare, some continuity between articles could help) --Paulgb Talk 16:48, 2 Apr 2005 (EST)

I am defeated yes, disregard my ramblings --Nytrospawn 17:08, 2 Apr 2005 (EST)

I found it funny, too, and I liked the picture caption. I'd like to see it incorporated into the main Bush article somehow though, so it doesn't get lost in the shuffle. --Uvula Donor 23:10, 3 Apr 2005 (EDT)

Delete The caption is ganked from the bush article! --Chronarion 10:07, 5 Apr 2005 (EDT)

Nti and Ntg

A rewrite has been requested on these, but I don't think they are redeemable. Both exist because of an edit to Nth by User:210.6.198.201. Nti and Ntg were created by User:210.6.198.205 and User:210.6.198.174. The IPs are similar enough that I think the addition to Nti, Ntg and the edit to Nth were all made by the same person. Delete/Rewrite I like it, too, but like you said, Paul, it doesn't fit as is. --Uvula Donor 17:53, 28 Mar 2005 (EST)
Rewrite / Delete This is not funny. It could be funny with a significant rewrite. --bdanials 21:08, 28 Mar 2005 (EST)
Keep I thought it was funny :-P --Chronarion 22:12, 28 Mar 2005 (EST)
Delete/Rewrite I think it should either be expanded, or just added to the Patriot Act page itself. --Rcmurphy 23:49, 28 Mar 2005 (EST)
Rewrite I'm sure there are a few more real-life examples that would make it funnier --Gadgeophile 23:42, 31 Mar 2005 (EST)
In fact, I've just kicked it off with a good example... --Gadgeophile 23:48, 31 Mar 2005 (EST)

3RR

Delete What is this? Does anyone with wikipedia experience find it funny? --Paulgb Talk 16:38, 28 Mar 2005 (EST)
Delete Thanks for bringing that one over here. I whacked the entries that shared that line, but didn't know what to do with 3RR. It isn't funny. Maybe the user who entered it was trying to leave us a message. --Uvula Donor 17:53, 28 Mar 2005 (EST)

Frosting

I HAVE FLUSHED IT DOWN THE CHRONOJOHN (time toilet) --Chronarion 22:15, 28 Mar 2005 (EST)

Does that mean it never happened? --PantsMacKenzie 10:18, 29 Mar 2005 (EST)

Maybe it means that next week it'll show up again --Uvula Donor 10:32, 29 Mar 2005 (EST)

ChronoJohn sounds interesting though. -- iMacThere4iAm

Delete Am I missing something? This looks like a fricking stream-of-consciousness Xanga entry. --Rcmurphy 21:57, 27 Mar 2005 (EST)

delete eventually but check out L.O.V.E first. This guy likes llamas and nachos. --Uvula Donor 22:02, 27 Mar 2005 (EST)

Delete Entry makes no sense in a non-funny immature way --Lomedae 17:15, 29 Mar 2005 (CET)

JLenn bEll is code for Delete not quite sure if this is supposed to be funny or posing as funny.--bdanials 02:31, 31 Mar 2005 (EST)

Delete I can see promise here, but I'm not sure who is insane enough to spend the time making this worth reading. --Famine 17:58, 1 Apr 2005 (EST)

Rewrite Germ of a good idea, but poorly executed. Needs rewrite, tidy, maybe expand a bit? --Goomball 11:31, 21 Mar 2005 (EST)

Delete/Rewrite Lame as-is. --Uvula Donor 14:39, 21 Mar 2005 (EST)

Rewrite There's a corking good article in there somewhere. --The Lad Himself 17:56, 21 Mar 2005 (EST)

Rewrite It has some potential, but needs to be seriously rewritten and expanded. --bdanials 21:02, 21 Mar 2005 (EST)

I've rewritten this one, making it a joke about IBM mainframes. What do people think? (Weirdly, I can only see my rewritten version via "history". Why is this?) --CrunchyCapsicum 02:36, 1 Apr 2005 (EST)
