Would you like Happy-Land deleted? --Gay2.gifIMBJRGay2.gif 15:37, 8 Sep 2005 (UTC)

if you like
just make sure its not Happy-land (lower case l)

Unfunny[edit source]

Please do not blank pages if you object to their content, that makes Baby Jesus cry. CaptainBarnacle was technically correct to remove your message, as such things belong on the talk page, not in the main article, although they would have been nicer to move it there rather than just delete it. Also, I see you've put it up for Vfd, which is a correct procedure for removing content you object to (another is to rewrite it funnier and better). However, for the Vfd to proceed, you really need to revert it back to the version that upsets you, so that the community can see the problem. As it is they just see your message.

P.S.: The article before was short and only somewhat funny, I'd suggest you could easily rewrite it as a completely different subject than the disease. See Cancer, AIDS, or Herpes for some examples. That would solve most problems, no? Thank you. --Splaka 10:58, 30 Sep 2005 (UTC)

Unblocked[edit source]

BobBobBob unblocked you. Just remember, don't blank pages (especially anonymously), put them on QVFD or VFD. --Splaka 21:55, 3 Nov 2005 (UTC)

Planet Google[edit source]

Newcookie.gif Somebody has awarded you a cookie!
Now go play in traffic.

Planet Google was the first article I started on here, and it was great to know that it's appreciated, even though it wasn't decided to be feature-worthy in the end. It was certainly appreciated by the other contributors who doubled the length of the page! Bloopy icon.png Bloopy 11:01, 3 May 2006 (UTC)

Title template[edit source]

First of all, you need to have m:ParserFunctions installed.

Also note that if you just copy the code as-is, it will by default not work because of the display:none:

{{#switch:{{MediaWiki:Sitenotice}}|-|=|#default=

{{MediaWiki:Sitenotice}}

}}

{{{1|{{PAGENAME}}}}}

So you need #titlehack { display:block !important; } from MediaWiki:Uncyclopedia.css. Note that on your wiki, the page is probably *not* called MediaWiki:Uncyclopedia.css, but MediaWiki:Monobook.css. Also note that you probably have to clear your cache in order to reload it. You mentioned that you already have the css, but make sure it is in the right place.

You also might try changing display:none to display:block temporarily, in the template itself, but it should not remain there. --Splaka 02:09, 10 August 2006 (UTC)

The specific page title hack is a bit more complex, and yet not terribly. It requires javascript. The laziest method is:
if (document.title.indexOf("Main Page") == 0) {
    document.write('');
}
Into your local MediaWiki:Monobook.js. See MediaWiki:Uncyclopedia.js and Wikipedia:MediaWiki:Monobook.js for how the others do it. --Splaka 06:07, 10 August 2006 (UTC)

Bucket of Piss[edit source]

happyland[edit source]

Hello. I wanted to ask you what the unbooks discussion was about on Happyland. I started babbling on the discussion page before I knew what discussion pages were for. It's kind of nice though, being as it is a parody on talkpages. But if there is talk of Happyland becoming an unbook, maybe the comments on the disc. page could be merged (with some changes) to become part of the official history of Happyland? By the way, i really like the article. That's why it inspired me to add a lot of Beautiful Bull. D.G.Neree 19:06, 5 January 2007 (UTC)
