Ryan Rodney Reynolds-Wrap (born October 23, 1976) is a Canadian actor well known for being the paragon of human virtue, and the embodiment of "the exception that proves the rule" in regards to straight men. This world was blessed, whereupon October of 1976, Ryan Reynolds descended to the earth. He is most well known for his involvement in the 1999 masterpiece known only as 'Dick', and a bit part in the overhyped bullshit that is the Deadpool movie.
It's also worth mentioning that he is Chris Martin's favorite actor.
Earliest life[edit | edit source]
Ryan Reynolds was born on October 23, 1976 in Vancouver. He has three other brothers. His parents were filthy rich, so they convinced him to pursue acting, although Reynolds quit at first. That was until he met the frontman for Coldplay, Chris Martin, who had saw some of Reynolds' film and show roles before and reconvinced him to start an acting career again. And so the rest is history.

1991-2003: Early work[edit | edit source]
Reynolds' career began when he was in a Canadian soap opera, which in the United States, Nickelodeon called it Sixteen. Either way, he was in a lot of Canadian productions. Not only that, but he was being cast in a lot of American shows, as he guest starred in a lot of them. But he wouldn't break through until he went to play the role for Green Lantern. But for now, he played some comedies.
2014-2015: Widespread recognition[edit | edit source]
As you can see, if you look at his filmography, he has played lots of romcoms. Reynolds has an obsession with comic books, so he wanted to play Green Lantern, which he ended up getting the role. Not only that, but prior he played Weapon XI. To this day he is one of the few people who played both Marvel and DC characters. Then again, it turns out that he was better at that Wolverine movie than Green Lantern.
2015-present: Established actor[edit | edit source]
With Deadpool released, Reynolds became one of the actors of all time. He got a star on the Hollywood walk of fame, starred in more high-budget films, getting a Pokémon inspired by his filmography, and being popular as always. Since then he has done other things.
