Pics on quickvfd

I'm trying to save one of your quick vfd's, the mansion photo. Why would you put that up, it's so beau-ti-ful, I swoon. And tremble. Seriouslalyie, unused photos are fine, they are something I go to all the time to either find pics for my pages or to put on other pages. I've probably used over 100 of them, rough estimate. QVFD

If an IP just spams a page, revert it. Don't request the IPs edits be deleted unless it is a new page or if the IP posts very personal information about someone. Also, don't add a page tagged with {{Construction}} when the writer clearly has intent of expanding it beyond just a few words. One: If you check the deletion log you'll see that the IP created several spam pages. When an IP does that I post a link to his contributions instead of QVFDing each. Actually, according to the deletion log, Uncyclopedia:Why create an account? was deleted in 2006, whereas Help:Why create an account? was created in 2009. Honestly, there's no reason the two pages couldn't be merged, or you can turn mine into a redirect to yours, since yours is more filled out. Well, if categorizing the pages that were deliberately expanded is so important, just list Category:Disambiguation pages and Category:Subpages (which doesn't exist yet) as subcats of that category. But spamming a category onto every page which you add that NoShortpages template to serves no purpose at all. The viewers who end up on a disambiguation page are not helped by it in the least. The hidden text is of no concern of the regular Uncyclopedia user, so there really is no need to confuse him with all this talk about keeping certain pages off of Special:Shortpages. The viewers who end up on a disambiguation page don't see the hidden text, so the text itself shouldn't be any problem. Neither should the category- it doesn't appear either, and I have never heard anyone complain about overcategorizing articles. I honestly don't see what the problem is. Until I started adding this template, the majority of pages on Shortpages were subpages that don't need to be there- Shortpages is used to find vandalism, to find crappy articles, and to find good articles that are legitimately short. There's no constructive reason to allow the hundreds of small subpages on the wiki to clutter up Shortpages- and in fact, only the first hundred or so entries on the list have been cleared of subpages and disambigs, as I haven't gotten around to doing the rest. If you disagree with a specific implementation of {{NoShortPages}} then you can feel free to remove it with a comment in the edit summary, if you really think it should be listed on Shortpages. But as far as I've seen the idea behind the template is sound. (Also, this doesn't need to be its own page- it's just an image. As you've just noticed, the category is visible. If it wasn't visible I would've had no problem with it. I'm not sure why you thought it wouldn't be visible. And the question isn't whether a subpage could be included in the article itself, it's whether Category:Deliberately expanded pages obstructs subpages and disambiguation pages that try to be funny in their own right in being funny. And that's exactly what it does. Hey, Ive noticed that you havent touched the negative potato for almost two weeks now, but the editing banner is still up. Theres a lot with this article id like to do (and had hoped to do). I was kind of assuming the edits would have been piecemeal rather than an overhaul. I know you were enthusiastic about polishing it, and that Im not so experienced, but when I found it, I also had a lot of ideas myself i wanted to explore. The article has been changed a lot, and they are improvements, but the character has changed a lot and as well my original edits have virtually vanished. We are two people with ideas for an older article. Are you still enthusiastic about this article as you were at first? Wow, it has been a while since I edited it. o.o The rewrite-in-progress tag could likely come down now, as I put that there to deter anyone from drastically changing the page while I was hashing out the concept and a body for it. Lately, though, I've been distracted by other things on Uncyc (for example, my attention turned back towards anal sex as I worked on fixing that article up to make it acceptable for the front page), and haven't had as much a mind to edit negative potato. I think I planned to place it on Pee Review once I finished the work I did on it, but Pee Review has been really backlogged with review requests lately and I didn't want to add to the load. Concerning you editing the page... honestly, man, go for it. If you think you can expand the article, or remove/replace unfunny things I've written, or just generally make it better, feel absolutely free to do so. Have at it all you want.
