It's a pity that the move log for the page was truncated so tragically early in its life, or you might have learned that I wasn't too proud of the quality (parodic or in general) of anything but the comics themselves (and those only somewhat). As to the "is" issue, I counted maybe 4 of them in the main body, but they were slightly offputtingly repetitive, so those ones are gone. As to the grammar, I suppose the biggest question I had is whether that appositive-laden 3-element list at the beginning would warrant being set off by semicolons. Also, the page looks great on my somewhat-current 1024x768 Firefox but terrible on the ancient IE6-running laptop I have laying around. Frankly though, I'm quite tired of trying to get around MediaWiki's odd implementation of inline CSS.KUN VFH POTM VFP(IMAGES⇔TALK) 18:57, August 29, 2010 (UTC) Meep, I made some changes to the "grammar" (for lack of a better word) and tried to see if I could make the page a bit more readable, per Lyrithya and HELPME's concerns. It's for the best that it's simpler and easier to read (fewer grammar questions to worry about anyway). I had been worried about excessive parentheses, but now that I see them it looks fine. You've also identified the real problem: the excessive use of plural, which was hard for me to discern, having written it.
