"Bob" Dobbs 02:01, 9 December 2007 (UTC) In case anyone cares, the deeper meaning of the poem is this: the narrator of the poem is someone who took an innocuous happenstance much more seriously than he should have until it escalated to a ridiculous and somewhat frightening level (him stalking the woman in the bushes at night).
