It was just an idea that sprang to mind when I was asked at work where the term 'it's a moot point' came from. As for the picture I thought that was part of the funniest parts. Well, it's in nobody's interest that I cause drama. I just think the whole thing is a little over the top. My view of Uncyclopedia - and maybe others don't share it, but it's mine - is that it's kind of the virtual equivalent of a bar where we all go and hang out and tell each other jokes. And if the bar owners decide to do something douchey like turn the jukebox way up so we can barely hear each other, because they think it'll encourage a heavy-drinking crowd who'll spend more, you know, what do we do about it? My view? Put up with it, or find another bar. Marching up to Wikia like we're some kind of labor union seems... silly. You know, this is what I do with my free time. I don't expect or demand anything for writing asinine songs about monkeys having intercourse with footballs. It makes the claim that partial derivatives, rather than being an extremely complex mathematical concept, are simply derivatives that were not completely written down, and then runs from there. Well, only about 30 kids in my class got to Calculus. And if you drew a Venn diagram of "kids in my high school who got to Calculus" and "kids in my high school who got laid", there would be no overlap. I passed it, but failed the AP test, and had to take it in college. Then I transferred schools, and they wouldn't take the credits, so I had to take it again. Thanks for that review. I think what you're saying about the humour is absolutely correct. I think the big problem about thinking too hard in the introduction, is that the subject matter is so ludicrously obscure that including J.M. Barrie looks like Oscar Wilde-style randomness. That's why I added the Wikipedia link to the Allahakbarries article, but it's definitely in the wrong place and should be at the top of the page.

This alone won't completely solve the problem. Because the thing about the authors is grounded in fact, I'm not very keen to remove them from the article entirely, but I have to incorporate them in different ways to make the article appear less random. I agree that the crisis of conscience is very weak. I was searching for a way to end the article, really, and couldn't come up with much. I'll certainly try a bit harder; your review filled me with confidence that I can finish this article and make it work. Okay, first of all I'll just say that after a third read of Colin Powell I think it's fucking hilarious and I've already decided I'll change my abstain to a for. But let me just tell you what made me abstain in the first place. 1. I thought starting out with a Fallout 3 reference was kind of jarring and didn't warm the reader up for the rest of the list, so to say. However, moving something else up that's already further down the page wouldn't work, as you have a pretty sweet flow going. However, since you talk about expecting cooking-related advice (eggs) on the second one, starting the section off with something cooking-related might set the stage and at the same time start off with something people who haven't heard of Fallout 3 (which, considering the Uncyc population, is probably about 2 people) can relate to. How about something like: "It was Thanksgiving Day and my grandpa was just cutting into this year's bird, as is the family custom. All of the sudden Colin Powell showed up saying "No, no, no. You're doing it all wrong." Then the man took the knife and schooled us all on the art of poultry carving. "Wiggle the drumstick to locate the joint." "Don't try to saw through the bone or you're just going to make a big mess." It was most succulent serving of turkey our family ever had, and the best goddamn Thanksgiving ever." Or something like that. 2. Just not liking Newports didn't convince me of his non-blackedness. Maybe I've been away from the States too long, but although I vaguely remember some references to Newports in the music of 2Pac and Ghostface Killah I didn't associate Newport smoker = black in my mind (although a quick Wikipedia check verified your notion). To drive the point home, how about saying something like "he just looked at me like I was crazy and walked away humming a Barry Manilow/Elton John/etc tune." And I think this goes without saying, but even if you were to add in my two suggestions exactly as is, it wouldn't make the article a goddamn collab; it'd still be a Hyperbole article. --S0.S0S.0S.0S0 13:26, 6 February 2009 (UTC)

Hello, my name is So So. You may know me for not writing Uncyclopedia classics like Red light and I maed a yuky doody. I randomly show up on people's talk pages to lend them advice on humor wikis.

Anyway, We In Da Club: If you actually do make the long awaited remix (featuring Thuggy Bear and Lil' Twat) I just had one idea that you may not find to be human feces. I don't know if it was on purpose, but even though it's a rap, it doesn't really rhyme. You may have done that because it's supposed to be parodying shitty songs to begin with, and I like that, but it might be even funnier if you had one line, maybe near the beginning, where he makes one rhyme. One really, really lame rhyme. And then after that it's just like he gives up because it's a pain in the ass, and too much work, and he just goes into the "club club clubbin'" shit.

I'm glad you liked it!! I happened to notice, while riding shotgun in a friend's car, that every single fucking R&B song in existence includes the lyric "in da club." Every one of them. There are no R&B songs that do not mention the club, use the preposition "in", and reduce the dental fricative in "the" to an alveolar stop.

I don't quite understand what you mean about a "gay joke" in the "lethality" section. I tried mulling it over, and I simply don't get it, unless it's something overly extreme, which I wouldn't know about because I'm straight.

I understood the rest of your review, however, and will take them to consideration, especially from a Writer of the Month.
