I personally think it's quite funny, but I think I have a theory about that. People like to laugh about things that are offensive, but they don't want to feel guilty for laughing at offensive things. Many humorists who do offensive humor find a kind of buffer. For example, Jeff Dunham uses puppets, and because it's the "puppets talking", he can get away saying things he normally wouldn't, because people just rationalize it away. Your humor hits the mark here, I really think it does. It's just that there's no buffer. When people laugh at this, they feel guilty about it, even if it is well written satire. I remember back when the Onion wrote an article (AGAIN with the Onion Mrthejazz? For shame) called "Raped Environment Led Polluters On." It worked and it was funny because people could rationalize away and say "Oh it's just about the environment, it isn't really about rape. It's okay to laugh at this." That's my analysis anyway. A "turning on its head" humour which is the basis for much of comedy. A very good page, imnho, for that reason and from that point of view. I don't think most of the against voters are shallow, but they are human, and as such are influenced by all sort of subconscious factors they can't even describe.
