Forum:A poll: Uncyclopedian political slants has been unedited for roughly 250 days. There will have been alot of changes since then, so I'm wondering again where all yew uncyclopedians stand politically? For this I direct yew to PoliticalCompass.org, and hope ywl take the test. I'd love to know how uncyc has changed in nearly a year. I'm also going to add this poll to see the general trend.

Which "quarter" do YEW stand in in the Political Compass?

Just a note, "Authoritarian" and "Libertarian" are both two extremes that will not define ywr political stance, it just tells yew which "extremity" as such ywr leaning more towards.

Under this headline, yew can, if yew want to, stick ywr exact place on the axis (e.g. Economic Left/Right: -9.85 Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -9.05 [that example stolen from a random user on the original page so as to not be biased])

Well, what if I don't want to marry? ^^ lol. Yeah, I do believe generally leftist things, other than the whole idea of state regulation. That's not liberal at all, that's, at least defined by the compass, "left authoritarian" :P whereas I'm "left libertarian". Hmmm, is the whole thing gonna be generally the same (i.e. everyone's roughly in the left libertarian area?) If it is I'd be happy really, 'cos people having the same beliefs as me generally restores my faith slightly in humanity :p ~Fag x FS
"PERSONAL [sic] freedom" is a traditionaly Libertarian belief, as far as my understanding goes. -- The Zombiebaron 19:23, 11 December 2007 (UTC)
Yeah, i get that. it's just that libertarianism is traditionally associated with being right-wing, which makes no real sense to me... ~Fag x FS
Libertarianism is right-wing economics (pro-free market) combined with left-wing social policy (pro-personal freedom). I personally found the explanation on the site to be unnecessarily confusing, and found our version much simpler. — Sir Wehp! (t!) (c!) — 02:50, 12 December 2007 (UTC)

I would be interested to know why you think that Hans Johnson... For me, you don't have any government in communism, the state naturally withers away as it becomes not needed. This has not happened so far in the places which have claimed to be communist. If it did, the end result would be the same as what the anarchists want. MrN MrN9000SouthParksmall.jpg 12:41, Dec 13
Being facetious, MrN9000. That's why I put the smiley face. It was intended as a humorous reference to the spate of anarchist terrorist bombings in the twenties. By the way, that's very utopian of you. If everyone believed that, it might actually work. Unfortunately, politicking seems to be inherent to humanity (witness Wikipedia, where in the absence of politics, people invented some), which means the idea of a peaceful anarchy would never come to fruition, kind of like world peace. • I think the way the questions are asked naturally leads to leftist, libertarian answers. Like this question: "It's a sad reflection on our society that something as basic as drinking water is now a bottled, branded consumer product." With a question phrased like that, how could I not agree? I'm with Spang on the test being biased and flawed. Sir Groovester | Contributions | Talk Page 09:41, 12 December 2007 (UTC)
    • Actually, I think it's brilliant that somebody figured out a way to sell water, something everyone in the 1st World has, and still make a profit. But, there are a lot of 3rd World countries with no clean water, where bottled water probably makes a lot more sense. - P.M., WotM, & GUN, Sir Led Balloon Baloon.gif(Tick Tock) (Contribs) 20:55, Dec 12
    • Speaking of biased questions... Is it just me, or is it hot in here? *Looks suggestively over at Modus*

I may even go so far as to say that it's stifling. Gee, it's so hot, I feel like taking off my clothes (nudge, nudge, wink, wink). --CUN RA Talk to me _ 08:23, 20 December 2007 (UTC)

Eww. I'm no prude, but there's no reason to bring that out at the dinner table. Sir Modusoperandi Boinc! 08:43, 20 December 2007 (UTC)
Don't worry. Despite the suggestive statements above, I am actually quite the prude. You can pretty much count on me to chicken out before anything even gets started. --CUN RA Talk to me _ 09:36, 20 December 2007 (UTC)
Your words would carry more weight if you weren't cradling my balls right now. Sir Modusoperandi Boinc! 10:54, 20 December 2007 (UTC)
That isn't me. That's... uh, my twin brother. My evil twin brother. I can't be sure. Does he have blonde hair and green eyes? 'Cause that's him. --CUN RA Talk to me _ 11:19, 20 December 2007 (UTC)
I'd continue this, but I took it in a direction I now regret (as though this forum couldn't get any more off topic). Plus, your hands are cold. Sir Modusoperandi Boinc! 11:24, 20 December 2007 (UTC)
That's really weird... I have blonde hair and green eyes. ~Fag x FS
And a purdy mouth. Sir Modusoperandi Boinc! 11:24, 20 December 2007 (UTC)
Dammit! I ruined my own joke. That last sentence "'Cause that's him" was never supposed to be there. Then you were supposed to say, "Yes", to which I'd respond, "Ha! It can't be me, because I have green hair and blonde eyes!" Curse you for killing my joke setup! --CUN RA Talk to me _ 19:37, 20 December 2007 (UTC)
Am I supposed to put "fail" here? It just feels like it belongs somehow. Sig pic.PNG Unsolicited conversation Extravagant beauty PEEING 22:58, 20 December 2007 (UTC)
