I must now admit, I was planning on making something very similar to your new game back in March, uncreatively called "UnMon." However, it would have been made entirely using wikitext and CSS, because I know nothing about javascript.

Opossum UnMon would likely have only began development after Make it to Ketchikan was completed, it was one of several side projects that I had envisioned back then, the only two that actually saw the light of day in any form were DodgeUltra and User:OPOSSUM/svalbard. I'm pretty sure that you're much better equipped to make an Uncyclopedia Pokemon knockoff real than I am, though. Again, I am really excited to see how your game turns out! I think the reason it did that specifically was bc it was a template and not a link. It tried to cut out the template: prefix, but there was already a colon, which messed it up. I didn't have a handler for removing/adding colons when there should be. I have now (for the next update) made the tool remove the colons when taking a page out of mainspace, or adding one when putting it into mainspace (only templates get the colon in that case) — L10nM4st3r (me) ^{Go back to top} 10:05, 2 January 2026 (UTC)

@Fish_on_skates: Yes, it tells you in the top right corner that it has restored a text backup. It basically stores a backup of what you write, and restores it if you open the menu. You can clear this backup by clearing the "cancel" button. 1. It will check for a specific piece of text (I think it's either a title or a comment)
2. If it cannot find that, it will fallback to the bottom of the page.

Some wTools bugs/requests

Here's all that I could think of:

1. Not short for shit should have <noinclude> tags around them, so they don't make empty space at the bottom of the article.
2. When Not short for shitting a protected article that the user doesn't have access to, there should be an actual reason besides "protectedpage".
3. When moving a template, it may remove characters around it. See this example, where the template removed the > in <br>.

The painful part about the 3rd one, is that is before the new update, and Ik I made some changes to the move page tools so it might be fixed it might be worse...

The other thing is, that part of the code is an absolute unreadable mess and I dread every second of looking at it (I literally made a library script for getting a full request (bc requests have a limit of 50 items at a time, but I have a different method of getting the full request for the move page tools...).

It will require a complete rewrite. I do want to integrate my template remover into the tool (will allow the codebase of both tools to be simpler overall, bc they can reuse overlapping code), it is on my todo list. — L10nM4st3r (me) ^{Go back to top} 21:05, 21 February 2026 (UTC)
