Question of voice

Yes, I mean the narrator's voice and not the dialogue. Although in a first-person piece of course when the narrator speaks in dialogue it's usually consistent with his storytelling voice, I guess...I never really thought about that. I suppose if you had a narrator telling a story using a kind of posh 19^th-century English voice but gave him spoken dialogue that sounded like Dan'l Boone on a bad-vocabulary day then it would be pretty weird. But that's all beside the point; you don't have that kind of dichotomy going on. I suspect some rewrites will smooth Science Fair out nicely. Sure, sigs are easy. Just create a subpage of your userspace, such as User:Cookiedoughpoptart/sig, and fill it with code, make it look the way you want it to appear. See Uncyclopedia:Signatures for the rules it has to follow, and User:TheLedBalloon/sig for an example. After that, add {{SUBST:nosubst|User:Cookiedoughpoptart/sig}} to the nickname box in Special:Preferences. Be sure to check the "raw signature" box. Sure, just took a look at the UnNews there, and here's my advice. First off, (this goes for the other one, too) you need pictures. They make the page look better and read easier, and an amusing caption on even a normal but relevant picture can really add some good comedy again. Plus, the UnNews is really short. If you head over to the Featured content section and look at the UnNewses, you should see a few that are a bit longer than yours. Yours is funny enough, I smiled a bit at it, I just feel like there should be more of it. Also, the quotations are usually done like this: "...And that's when the aliens attacked. See, they were the ones that bludgeoned that infant to death, not me. Can I go now, officer?" Which, in code looks like this: ''"Texty things here."'' Other than that, try rereading and rewording your page a bit, as some of the sentences were a little odd. Now, I don't mean that they were grammatically incorrect, I just feel like they could flow a little better.
