Okay, you need to spend WAY more time on your short little reviews. You're reviewing everything, and that's fine, but people are going to start complaining. /me looks at what I've written Hey, they already have! Also, have a good old look at HTBFANJS (it's also linked in that big ol' welcome message a bit higher up this page). If you're a fan of random humour, fine, but temper any enthusing about it in articles with at least a mention of the fact that many of us on here aren't so fond, and articles with lots of it tend not to fare so well. Oh, and lots of lists. We don't like too many lists.

I CAN HAS IMAGEZ?

1. [[Image:Literecy-cat.jpg|thumb|right|Hi again!]] is the same as [[Image:Literecy-cat.jpg|thumb|180px|right|Hi again!]]. That means that "thumb" = 180px.
2. [[Image:Literecy-cat.jpg|thumb|right]] makes a picture with a blank box around it. Usually people think that's pretty ugly.
3. It doesn't matter what order those little "thumb" and "right" things are in.
4. Capitalization counts when putting in the name of the image. I know, it's very annoying.
5. My adopter has taught me that a caption on a picture is better than none, unless it makes absolutely no sense. This is because it's good to sprinkle one liners in your article here and there.

What gives?

Hello there.

Allow me to introduce myself before I start yelling. I'm Claudius. Nice to meet you. So what's the deal on here now? In the old days (yeah I've been on here for two years writing good articles) you could put a construction tag on something and then work it till it was good (or at least seven days). I started Boethius YESTERDAY and Flyingfeline huffed it. And this after I just finished doing good work on Titian, not that I needed that recent article to stand up for me since I've written more QUALITY articles than just about everyone I know outside of Mhaille & Todd Lyons. And now I see your comment, posted in the Boethius article and I have to wonder what the hell is going on around here...? Is there that much crap being posted that you guys are now vigilantes? Well, you don't need to give me the business, I don't write crap. Most Haunted

Yeah, I took a brief look at it. Here's what I have to say. It's somewhat amusing, and I smiled a bit. Still, the general randomness really got to me. The voice of the narrator varies widely and the article sort of jumps around from one topic to another, two major turn-offs for me. I noticed Mhaille's been helping out, which is good, it's always helpful to have two senses of humor, since it's often hard to impartially judge your own work. Anyways, have a quick read of that page I linked to you in the welcome message if you haven't, the one called HTBFANJS. It's great for ideas for jokes and whatnot.

Other than that, try to focus on making the prose flow better. It's one of the hardest things to learn to do when writing, but it's very important. Where in that sentence should that comma go? Should there even be a comma there? Where should bold and italic text be used? These are the questions you need to ask yourself. Remember this: One of the most important things in telling jokes for stand-up comics is the delivery, with comedic timing and the tone of voice, etc. This is just like that, but there's much less room for error, because you are writing and you have to make sure that each sentence is being read the way you want it to be read. Grammatical stuff like commas, and formating tricks like italics help to make this happen. Anyways, keep at it! The page is still a bit short, and I'd like to see more.
