Salmon is a highly-requested colour for me to create a page on. Like, what am I supposed to write about? The Alaskan government? World War One? Those were already covered. Again, what makes salmon so interesting? IT'S JUST THE COLOUR OF A FISH!!

...

I love the colour Salmon.

What Salmon is not

Many people spread rumours on what Salmon really is. Thankfully, the admins of Uncyclopedia quickly huff these fake-outs. Let me debunk these theories myself.

My hopes are that you know what a Salmon fish is. What about the colour?

Invention

One Alizarin Crimson was eating dinner with fellow colours with the same property; they all have names that sound like what would be given to humans. Whilst cutting up a salmon, he realized: "Hey, this inside colour looks a bit pink-ish." However, it looked more like a light red-orange, so it couldn't be pink. He named the colour "Salmon" after the fish he soon would eat.

Feedback

This Salmon overenthusiast really wants to spread the love of Salmon.

The colour's hex was originally more orange, around what we'd consider to be "Coral." However, the meat inside was more red than that. It turned more into what is today web-colour Salmon[1]. After enough time, it was locked onto #ff7f7f, where it sits to this day. Scientists predict this form of Salmon could be the last, as any more shifting would make it more pink than orange.
