This is a terrible idea.

Such a proposal suggests that its author may actually believe IPs to be equal to registered users. What we must remember is that IPs are not people. They are tools of our amusement sentenced to a lifetime of misery in the abyss that is Uncyc. We are supposed to punish them and make them feel as unwelcome as possible. Such is the way of the world. Giving them powers would cause for this wiki, which is founded on injustice and inequality, to burn. If anything, we should take a page from Conservapedia's book and take away the IPs' right to edit. I say don't even let IPs access the site. If you want my honest opinion, we should kill em. Anyone who isn't a registered Uncyc member should be put to death. Immediately.

Alright, so maybe not just yet. For now, in all seriousness, let's just say this is a terrible idea and would only hurt the wiki, which already sees enough abuse as it is from IPs and newly registered users alike. ~Minitrue Sir SysRq!
