Fiona Apple review
Thanks, he who plays "you're it!" with boobs.
That was a very helpful, nicely done review. A couple of things seem a bit contradictory, but I'm sure that's just because I need a little more complete explanation to get your point through the steel plates in my head.
First, if you can try to be more exlpicit what you mean in the Concept it will be helpful. In humor, you liked the driving into the ground about her being insane (which if you know of Ms. Apple, there is a lingering concern for her emotional stability, if she's not completely bat shit nuts, but it's the satire of overstatement - i.e. I think she's not quite "normal" as you say, but I digress), but then in Concept you say I'm bashing her. So my question is, where are the pure bashing aspects, if they are not regarding her lack of sanity or her inablity to sing, both of which points you identify as humorous parts. So can you see my confusion?
I know it's too short and needs fleshing out, so maybe a good strategy is to try to find more comedy in other aspects of her mystique, or something, and not go much further along the talentless/craziness track?
Incidentally, being a gentleman at heart, I satire things I adore, and I love Fiona Apple's music and lyrics, so I hope not to purely bash. Thus your comment concerns me, and I hope to fix this if I can grasp it. Thanks again.
- Sorry bud! I know it was confusing. I just thought, in a brief summarizing yet still confusing statement, is that I think this is a bashing arguement, in that you purely make fun of her, but you do it in a good way in some areas. I think a cure would be to add more. So I am interested in seeing what you do with it! ~SirTagstit • VFH • NotM • PEEING • CPT • RotM • BFF 17:52, 18 February 2009 (UTC)
About my wacky wavers
Thx for the review, quick and filled with informative feedback. I had thoughts on working on my sentences which was, as you pointed out, bit of a let-down. I'll definitely try to work those out. Otherwise I'm glad you enjoyed the concept. The second image is indeed an idea I came up with at the last second; which is why it doesnt really show in the article. Ill see if I can include it somewhere. I hope to have that done within the next few days =) Thx again! Cheers --kit 16:15, 19 February 2009 (UTC)

Hatstand
You are aware that "hatstand" is british slang for crazy, right? Like they say over there, "John is completely hatstand". Just making sure. That makes this is a pun like WristWatch. Perhaps you were aware but still did not like the idea? (that is to say, of course I don't think hatstands are funny at all either, in and of themselves...) --TPLN 22:18, 24 February 2009 (UTC)
- Are they really? Wow, I am American and have never heard of that! You can submit it again if you want, I just thought it was random. It does have a better concept now that I think about it. Ask UU to review it for you, he is a brit and might like it. Sorry bud I feel like an idiot! ~SirTagstit • VFH • NotM • PEEING • CPT • RotM • BFF 07:10, 24 February 2009 (UTC)
- I'm just a strange American. "Hatstand" is the only Britishism I have purposely incorporated into my vocabulary. It's my favorite slang for "crazy", probably because I can't for the life of me imagine how it got started. I mean, jeebz, there is nothing crazy about hatstands. Is there? This is why I wrote the article - I was really trying to imagine a world where there actually is something crazy about them, like the Brits claim. Maybe UU can tell me... --TPLN 22:18, 24 February 2009 (UTC)
- Ya, he probably could! He is a smart little brit. I am sorry though! Maybe you should tell people that in the beginning of your article so idiots like me will know! =) ~SirTagstit • VFH • NotM • PEEING • CPT • RotM • BFF 07:20, 24 February 2009 (UTC)
- Oh yeah, yeah - like use that one "humour" vs. "humor" template or something. What is that template called? I'll find it - that might help. Thanks. --TPLN 22:18, 24 February 2009 (UTC)
- Hatstand - hmm, I think this is to do with our love of using dull everyday objects as synonyms for craziness. I've also come across "mad as a spoon", which is very similar. I think it's the irony of using such a dull object that does it, although hatstand does seem to have stuck - probably from being used in a popular sitcom, although I can't be arsed to track down the exact one. Mind you, there are some other good ones too, like "mad as a goose on stilts" - seriously, wouldn't the person who put the stilts on the goose in the first place be far madder? Hope that clears things up. --UU - natter 14:33, Feb 26

I read your article!
Okay, so I read Ocean's Fourteen and I have some thoughts. Your ideas are ultimately funny. Your broad themes are funny. I like the ideas here, I just don't like your syntax and I don't like your sex jokes. Take out the strip club scene entirely. Is there something I'm missing? Are these references to the actual move? Because I really don't know. All I know is that I don't like the cheap sex jokes, because they are unimaginative and I know you have written much funnier things.
My other major beef is your syntax. Like I said before, you have great ideas. You just really need to develop your writing ability. Everything, from punctuation, spelling, and grammar, to your word choice, your dialogue, and your characterization is important in an article like this. Really, it's important with all articles. And it's really suffering. Go back and look at Cardboard Box and check out all the edits I made when I "SysRq-ized" it. While those are more my personal style more than anything else, those would be the kinds of things I'm looking at here. You need to work on that, because while your overall ideas are funny, if you can't communicate those ideas, they're useless. Comedy starts with effective writing. You can be as funny as you want, but if you can't communicate those ideas in a way that maximizes the humor value, those ideas are useless. Just some things to think about. I'd say this is far from complete and needs some serious editing. Sorry if I'm kinda going to town on your article, but I just want to give you the straight dope as I see it, as is my obligation as your UnDaddy. Now, let's go get some ice cream. —Sir SysRq (talk) 22:25, 24 February 2009 (UTC)
- I will definitely go through and check for errors. The problem I was having, is that I didn't want to create an article that was too personalized...that's not the right word at all but I mean I don't want only people who have seen it to think it is funny, so I added a few gay and rascist jokes in there just to keep the tone lighthearted. About the strip club, the two often meet in strip clubs (I think) in the movies and talk to each other without eye contact. I am not sure though. Anyways, I will finish it up and send it into pee and if needed, change everything up. I personally do not like the gay stuff, I just know some do...maybe. I will probably end up removing it. What about the finished monkey article? I just got Nachlader who put a template on saying he will review it but I am interested in your final thoughts as well. Finally, seriously, what is a plunger? ~SirTagstit • VFH • NotM • PEEING • CPT • RotM • BFF 01:24, 25 February 2009 (UTC)

Write Good
Great review, thank you - very helpful.
You are right about the errors - if you look through the history, I fixed a lot[1] of typos. This is a hard one, because you can't spell check when you are trying to make common mistakes. "Imprtant" of course was a typo. I will pour through it and carefully fix any others.
Actually, I thought the "mars" simile was the most bizarre of the three similes. It's more bizarre in its apparent "normalness" - but it isn't normal because how the hell can footsteps sound like a planet? You know? I thought it turns the triplet on its head, and I found that amusing.
Anyway, again thanks. Nice review. --TPLN 18:17, 25 February 2009 (UTC)
- ↑ by the way, it's "a lot" - the misuse of "alot" in the article is intentional, just sos you know... :)
UnNews
Its difficult not to mention the admins, in the discussion I mention what inspired the article was a newspaper entry that said "this off gene allows the doctors to "huff" out the tumour" which is why the admins are mentioned. Will give it another go and remove all this but I guess it means just using the word "admins". Pee Review (Brute)
Thanks for the review, despite it being short and negative. It helped me alot. Your right about the grue article thing. i thought it would be funny. i guess not and i took almost everything down about them being about grues. Though i kept them in the Things that brutes eat to prove that Grues and ubergrues arent invincible as everybody say they are. Also i have a Question. whats really the problem about injokes, and is it ok to use like one or two. Thanks--User:Iwillkillyou333 04:52, 27 February 2009 (UTC)Iwillyoukill333
- Although you might want to ask a few people, my opinion is that they should NEVER be used. Think about it. Everyone knows these jokes. They have been used before and your looking to find humor based off the fact people will know what it is. What I am trying to say is it is lazy. Plain and simple. Anyone can type out an injoke and hope it is funny. It is more impressive if you can come up with your own material. You know? Just my take. Ask others for their opinions if you want though ~SirTagstit • VFH • NotM • PEEING • CPT • RotM • BFF 16:06, 27 February 2009 (UTC)

Graduation
Alright, so it seems like you've been doing pretty well for yourself. You've been doing awesome Pee Reviews, you got yourself a few features, you won NotM, and you've got some great articles in the works. I'm proud of you.
But recently I've noticed that you haven't really needed my help as much anymore. This is fine, there's always a point where the noob has a good handle on his Uncyc life and doesn't need training wheels anymore. I think you're there already. So I was thinking about just graduating you, seeing as how you're not really a noob anymore, but a full fledged member of Uncyc.
What does this mean as far as our relationship? Really, nothing. I'll still be your UnDaddy, I'll still be here to help you with anything, but it means that you could (if you wanted to) adopt noobs of your own. I've already seen you helping newer users and you're good at it. I think it is time for the baby bird to leave the nest. And then stay around the same tree because all Uncyc really is is just a big tree. Literally. It's a website made of wood. Imagine.
Let me know what you think of this idea and I'll take care of everything should you decide that you're ready to shed your noob status. (And this is not because I don't love you, this is because I think you're doing really well!) Cheers, —Sir SysRq (talk) 15:30, 6 March 2009 (UTC)
- Wow I am honored! Well, if you really think I am ready than I would be happy to become a non-noob. I might still bug you if I have questions though. If you think it is a good idea than awesome, if you think I should stay a bit longer, that's cool too. I am interested in adopting some of my own though! I wanna konw how to get into that. So really it is your choice, and thanks for everything you have done for me so far! ~SirTagstit • VFH • NotM • PEEING • CPT • RotM • BFF 16:05, 6 March 2009 (UTC)

So I came here to say thanks for advertising my daily torment I hope that now more people will have a greater understanding of why I'm so dysfunctional. Thanks, did I say that? |
And I promise I'll read your monkey lover article cos I does look really amazing I just keep getting distracted. :S again thanks for teh vote! ~Orian57~ ~Talk~ 12:38 26 March 2009

Thanks for the review
I really appreciate the review for my D&D article. The only reason it's a full script in the first place is because My first review said it was too short. I'll revise it even more, and throw 'er through the pee review again. Again, I'm really grateful for the review. Gas Pump 01:15, 31 March 2009 (UTC)

Hey There
First of all, it's been a while! How's the good ol' tit doing?
Second of all, I wrote an Overview main page to my two D&D articles like you suggested, I thought perhaps you could give it a Pee. I'd be eternally grateful if you did so. Thanks. —Sir Guildensternenstein 19:30, 8 April 2009 (UTC)
- Damn I might have to change usernames just because everyone here just sees the tit when they see my name. Anywho, well I am glad I helped out with your structure and you liked the format I hoped. I would be happy to review your article, but I want to be flat out honest with you though. I do not really like the whole idea when it started. I read the races and classes and it just seems like a collection of stereotypes. But with that being said, I do like your overview, and how you take things like sex and put the nerdy aspect on it. So it will be a HEAVELY mixed review with extreme ups and downs, and I completely understand if you would rather have someone else review it who loves this kind of thing all the way. ~SirTagstit • VFH • NotM • PEEING • CPT • RotM • BFF 07:22, 9 April 2009 (UTC)
- Well, don't feel obligated to review it or anything, I just thought you'd like to review the overview as it basically was your idea (which was a damn good one, by the way). —Sir Guildensternenstein 13:04, 13 April 2009 (UTC)

Understandably, you voted for my article for featuring. Although your "for" vote was not extraordinary, as the article's genius was beyond question, it is still appropriate to acknowledge your dutiful participation in the process.
So, in gratitude for your vote, I will dedicate my next common typographical error to you. Thank you.
The following common typographical errors are available for this honor. Please indicate below this template which one you would like me to dedicate to your user name.
Imperial Colonisation
Howdy, would you mind adding my name to the IC board, and perhaps giving me a point, I contributed a lot of the stuff to the Great Britain Page (Politcal definition section, Falkland section, sheep image, france image, bridge image etc) I tried to do this myself but I was told off by SysRq. Thankee --CrabPope 17:43, 13 April 2009 (UTC)
- Like I said, you're good. I put your name back up, just don't edit the template yourself anymore. —Sir SysRq (talk) 19:24, 13 April 2009 (UTC)
- Ya, thanks for taking care of that SysRq. We just can't have the template being ran by everyone in colonization, just like we can't have the pee board being run by every one who pees. One person doing it keeps consistency. By the way Sys, whats up with Sockpuppets edit about stating the bloody obvious and less ordering? I didn't quite understand that. ~SirTagstit • VFH • NotM • PEEING • CPT • RotM • BFF 19:31, 13 April 2009 (UTC)
- Oh, um sorry. I just added SysRq's name since he also edits the template, thus stating the bleedin' obvious (namely that SysRq is also allowed to edit the template). I also removed the "get out" which was quite imperative if you get my point. (I almost replaced that part by Tits or GTFO! but I managed to restrain myself.) —Sir Socky (talk) (stalk) 19:38, 13 April 2009 (UTC)

alternate ending
I made an alternate ending for My Girl's Best Friend:
I slammed her door and started walking down the stairs to leave when I heard Matty say, "You were right Stacy, that totally worked!"
Ouch...wait a minute...I should not have been tricked by her! I'll show her and her fat friend!
I walk back into the house and say, "hey bitch, you shouldn't be disrespecting me!"
Stacy says, "I don't know what your on about." and I bitch slap her.
"Don't touch her!" Her fat friend says.
"Shutup bitch!" And I pull out my handgun and shoot her in the head.
Stacy screamed at me, saying "WHAT THE FUCK!" and I yell back to her, "SEE WHAT YOU FUCKING MADE ME DO YOU FUCKING BITCH!" and fucking put a cap in her face. Than I go to her fridge and help myself to an ice-cream. And to think she didn't want me to have any of them. Meany. --Docile hippopotamus 11:09, 14 April 2009 (UTC)

sexting unnews
hey tags, i've given your article a bit of a lift. i've cleaned up some language, thrown stuff into paragraphs, and added a picture to get rid of that nasty whitespace. i would say this is near ready for VFH. i could make some content-related edits if you'd like, to bring the tone and things up to what i was describing in my review and the subsequent discussion. i did like the changes you made post-review though, and if you want this to be totally your article then i understand, just let me know. 20:48, 28 April 2009 (UTC)
- I like it! Thanks alot for making this look alot neater, and read alot easier. I am open to any content related edits, but what exactly are you planning to do? ~SirTagstit • VFH • NotM • PEEING • CPT • RotM • BFF 22:49, 28 April 2009 (UTC)
- well some of the language i didn't change because it would have changed the content of sentences. i also think a few minor tweaks would help its VFH chances. i could make the changes, then you could revert any parts you didn't like; how's that sound? 01:22, 29 April 2009 (UTC)

Heya Tags
SO I just finished this article, HowTo:Build the Perfect Sandcastle, and I was wanting your opinion. And also thanks for the vote on VFH. ~Orian57~ ~Talk~ 10:53 2 May 2009
- Oh no problem I hope it works out. And I got quite a busy day today so I will read it and give my opinion as soon as I return. But at first glance I say it looks great! ~SirTagstit • VFH • NotM • PEEING • CPT • RotM • BFF 13:40, 2 May 2009 (UTC)
- Yeah me too, I know it's not my best but I like it. But I'm really exited about Sandcastle, it's my favourite thing I've written at the minute. ~Orian57~ ~Talk~ 10:38 3 May 2009
- Just got done reading it. For the most part I really liked it! You really captured the innocence and annoyingness of a young child. What I find to be a constant issue with your articles though, is that they are great, but they are never about what they are called. This is more of a story about a kid and his dad than the actual sandcastle building. I strongly suggest you change the title to something like, Unbooks:Daddy and I's Day at the Beach. This way it won't be such a...well...disappointment is a bad word because it is funnier than any article on sandcastles could be, but a misguiding. I think the reason Why?: Don't You get a Job didn't do as well as it could've with some people, is simply that the title isn't what it is about. Well, it is but just slightly. Your articles tend to be more about stories anyways. So I guess what I am saying, is that you should retitle it but other than that, it is another very funny article. Well done. ~SirTagstit • VFH • NotM • PEEING • CPT • RotM • BFF 18:05, 3 May 2009 (UTC)
- I can just about see what you people don't like about why?: don't you get a job's title (they wrong but I can see where they're comming from) but I will be absolutely unshakable on this article. The fact that it misses the point is initself a joke. Joshy's dad has spent the whole day trying to teach him how to make a sandcastle and at the end of it he doesn't know, perhaps subtle but that's exactly what I was trying to do. And besides I've explained my view on titles anyway both here and here. Thanks though Tags I'm really glad you liked it! ~Orian57~ ~Talk~ 18:26 3 May 2009

hey tags. i've closed out this week's colonization, can you update out scoreboard? i've also compiled a list of users who can be removed ue to inactivity and the like here. thanks! 16:00, 3 May 2009 (UTC)
- Ya sure thing! Thanks for the list. ~SirTagstit • VFH • NotM • PEEING • CPT • RotM • BFF 16:26, 3 May 2009 (UTC)
- It's done, and I only really saw five people helping out. There were many minor contributions, but none that really did anything beyond add a sentence or two. But is it cool if I announce the points being put in for this week? I usually do it on the talk page but on the special news it might be more formal. ~SirTagstit • VFH • NotM • PEEING • CPT • RotM • BFF 16:50, 3 May 2009 (UTC)
- sure thing. you don't have to be quite so strict i think, even minor contributions and discussions on the talkpage help, but you're in charge so what you say goes. 16:59, 3 May 2009 (UTC)
- I thought about that too. But then again, if we do that, then people might start going every week, adding a line or two, and expecting points. And we have people like you who contribute well more than half of the entire thing and get the same amount of credit. For now I think it is better to set the bar a bit higher so we don't have people trying to cheat the system ya know? ~SirTagstit • VFH • NotM • PEEING • CPT • RotM • BFF 17:02, 3 May 2009 (UTC)

Grrrr
I worked on Barak Obama colonization, tags. Check the history and the talk page if you dont believe me (I know you do) 17:08, 3 May 2009 (UTC)
- Hey dude nothing personal its just I can't give you the points for the two edits you did. I checked every edit to see if they deserve a point, and rechecked yours, but all I could see was a fix of words and one paragraph in a section that was later removed. When we got people like Gerry doing half the stuff I can't honestly give you the same amount of credit. You can take it up with SysRq and I will gladly change it but as it stands I need to set a bar. ~SirTagstit • VFH • NotM • PEEING • CPT • RotM • BFF 17:19, 3 May 2009 (UTC)

further ic stuff
hey tags, i've been thinking. i think we should give credit for colonizers for pretty much any contributions, even if it's only a few sentences or some grammar corrections or some ideas on the talk page. if we demand a high level of input, then everyone is going to be making edits just to get credit rather than trying to improve the article, and that's going to lead to a decline in the quality of colinized articles. speaking as a main contributor to many of our colonizations, it doesn't bother me one bit that someone would get equal credit for fewer edits. 14:53, 4 May 2009 (UTC)
