Pee Review[edit source]
I'd just like to thank you for doing a review on my article, Pen Island. However, when doing a review, it's usually best to include tips on how to, oh, I don't know, improve the article. - lol, I don't want revenge. I just wanted a bit of constructive criticism, you know? A review with a bit of substance. Reviews aren't just for letting the writer know whether their page is good or not. They're for helping them improve on it. The best reviews are the really long ones, with suggestions, tips, ideas, etc. I know how hard this can sometimes be, but hey, a good review can be the difference between an okay article and a featured article. OK, I went in and reviewed your article – you've got a great concept going, we need a page about side effects, but I think the current article will need a lot of work. (You may want to read UN:HTBFANJS – I've been sent there more than a few times and I actually read the whole thing through this morning, it is worth at least glancing over.) Help with VFD[edit source]
I noticed you placed the template {{VFD}} on the page Side effect. While I'm all for the deletion of redundant pages most of the time, make sure that you add the page you marked as {{VFD}} to Uncyclopedia:Votes for deletion. However, do keep in mind that only 15 articles are allowed to be voted on at a time. —Hinoa talk.kun 05:37, 7 July 2007 (UTC)

Cool, glad to hear it! Okay, first thing you wanna do is read Uncyclopedia:Beginner's Guide to Being an Uncyclopedian and UN:HTBFANJS. Especially that second one. Learn it, live it, love it. I still read it, and I've been here for months. It's great for inspiration. Other than that, if you have any questions at all, just drop me a message on my talk page. I'll respond to messages you leave me on my talk page on my talk page, so you may wanna put that on your watchlist or something. If you need help and I'm not around for some reason, just ask an admin (special:listusers/sysop), some of them may decide to help. Side Effects[edit source]
Well, I added/deleted a bit to/from Side effects, mainly within the "common side effects" part. Now, it's your article, but here's what I recommend:
- In the two sections of "scary sounding" stuff, I'd combine the two, remove large chunks of them, and/or just delete both of them. I get the part about "get an attention span," but most uncyclopedians, while having an attention span, really just want to laugh.
- In the Stephen Colbert section I'd make it a paragraph, rather than a list, like with a lot of commas. That way, it would be more like the way it's actually intended to be spoken.
- Perhaps do the same with the Sir Robin section, but it's not quite the same as it would be on the above section.
- Maybe move the reference notes to just form intros to the lists.
So, that's what I've got for you. Whether or not you follow these and to what extent you follow them is up to you, but I recommend taking a good look at em. Anyways, good luck with this.
