The Spot raking in the cash from all the stupid shit comics have to pull

The Spot is a super-villian in the Marvel Universe. He is considered one of the most powerful characters in comics because of his ability to create plot-holes out of thin air. Many heroes often hire The Spot to get out of otherwise doomed situations. Remember that one time, when your favorite character died, but then they came back? That was all The Spot. Of course, he also does subtler work like returning adamantium skeletons, decimating mutants, turning good characters evil then good again, and retconning huge events so no one remembers them 3 years later.

History[edit | edit source]

The Spot trying to convince Spider-Man that his "One More Day" plotline is for his own good.

The Spot was once lowly comic book editor Jonathan Ohnn who worked for the (then) popular Kingpin comics. One day, while experimenting with a prototype typewriter, it exploded causing Ohnn to be covered with radioactive ink. He discovered he could use the ink-spots to rewrite and retcon comic continuity in any way he imagined! At first, he tested his powers by directly confronting the hero Spider-Man. While this attempt was less than successful, he learned that his powers work best in the background. So he became an obscure villian while all along manipulating and screwing with comic history just for the lulz. When he got bored of that, he hired himself out to comic book companies to profit off of others horrible decisions.
