also holy fk it works! I didn't know the Uncyclopedia API was a thing until an hour ago, and its solved all my problems. Now it generates "cards" based on every possible article on here basing HP/ATK/Rarity on things like length of the article (and maybe some randomizing thrown in). Uncyclopedia card game beta (or alpha? idk how that works)

behold! After a lot of work and a good deal of stealing borrowing: _-[2]-_. My attempt at battle mechanics were real boring as there wasn't much to watch happen, so locked that off for now. The images don't always fit super amazingly, the summaries sometimes are bizarre due to it pulling from some of our "weird" pages, and the procedural card generator can sometimes take a hot minute to pull cards... but what can ya do. Lmk if you hit faults, lag, etc etc etc. NOTE: (its all local storage, so it'll save only per individual device. thats the long term plan, but turns out it takes forever to make a single card manually, and then uncyclopedia strips the gamification aspect out due to code limitations :(. at some point in the future once theres enough i can replace (and once i figure out how the fighting thing works). this was kinda a short test to see if i could have the computer make them for me quickly. ill help ya write some tomorrow (after the billion things I'm being asked to do haha). kiiiinda too short for pee review to be practical, so it would make more sense for me to just help out with the bones. For now, look at the wikipedia article on it and see what kinds of things they talk about (discovery, isotopes, dangers, uses, etc). Then, check out some of the other element articles on here to get an idea of what they are like. MY quick idea here would be to make it a play on words with "Argon" and "Aragorn" from LotR. (Maybe throw Eragon in there for good measure). Nacky would be a gem for this as she did 99% of the Tolkien articles here. The hobbits could be a base element, the orcs acids, sauron a chemist, the works. Then make a whole silly story about it, tying it all into some few real facts about argon so it seems semi-legit.
