Blocked on Wikipedia

Since I've been blocked on Wikipedia indefinitely for some time, I was wondering if there's anyone here that can somehow get the admins to unblock me? Anyone that does that will get my thanks, my respect, and more importantly a a ninjastar. My talkpage is here. @Fenris2010: Sadly, the user that managed to help OPPOSUM with that kind of thing, TiazuGotAutism333, said that was leaving Uncyclopedia. So I think you'l find it harder to get help on that. DaniPine3 (talk) 05:46, 2 October 2024 (UTC)

@Fenris2010: Yeah, you got no chance with Bbb23, dude's an absolute bellend and powertrip (not as bad as Cullen328 though), 331dot is like a diet version of Bbb23, so no chance with him either, and Yamla is a parrot that recites a set of phrases, so they're useless too. You're better off not editing WP, it is an absolute cesspool, the politics and power dynamics there make it literal hell to edit there without some self-proclaimed veteran editor or powertrip being an asshole on your TP, by trying to scare you off by saying you're being disruptive, and will be blocked the next time you do something like that. When you ask them for help, or to elaborate they ghost you, and when you do the same thing on their talk page so they see it, they revert it and take you to ANI for harassment.

It's gotten a lot worse now, at least when I edited pre-covid I met some genuinely kind and helpful users who stuck up and supported me on my TP and at ANI, one of which is an admin now I believe, however, they are one of the more obscure ones, but even with these people, it was a pain in the ass to edit anything on there, due to the sheer amount of powertrips and assholes on there with their fragile egos. Now the site is primarily dominated by powertripping admins and bootlickers who go crying to the admins when someone does something they don't like, and leave ass-kissy edit summaries quoting some WP guideline whenever they revert vandalism (especially on an admins talk page), most of the time these clowns don't even add anything to articles, but rather their edit history is filled with reverts, talk page notices, and whiny vandalism reports, that's a good way to spot them, another way to spot them is to go to an admins talk page, and see the users who answer questions from new users in an "I'm better than you" tone and act like whatever they said was common knowledge (it isn't), these pricks do most of the admins dirty work for them, so the admins can be even bigger dickheads throughout the site. Typically bootlickers will stay bootlickers and they don't end up becoming a powertrip, edit filter helper and/or autopatroller at best. I will say though, it is fun to troll bootlickers and see them throw a tantrum, their egos have to be even more fragile than the admins' egos lol.

Wikipedia says everyone is welcome to edit, and they want more people to join, but this is clearly not the case, it wasn't the case in 2019 when the site had actual good admins and users (such as DESiegel, who btw was one of the kindest most helpful admins and users on the site, if you see this, know that you are greatly missed and WP needs more people like you!), and its especially not the case now, where you can see majority of the edits and activity is carried out by a rather vocal and egotistical group of stuck up assholes who gatekeep and discourage new users from staying and getting better at editing. Honestly, that's why I was drawn to Uncyclopedia, I was originally a vandal on here, but the community encouraged me to create an account (thanks MrX!), and I love how laid back and silly Uncyclopedia is, its an amazing and welcoming community as well (tbf we do need more people)! While we do have politics from time to time, its not as bad as the shit that goes on in WP.

From what I've seen, it's not worth being in a place where you aren't welcome, you'll never feel like you belong there, and they'll only be actively looking for reasons to block you again. If you want to contribute to some kind of encyclopedia or knowledge repository, I'd suggest looking into archive communities online, or some fandom you're really into, or maybe even see if you can do something like that at your local library. I added a display title a couple of years ago that isn’t initially different, but shows you more text when you hover over it (i’ve added it back so you can take a look at it). Someone apparently removed that this summer. 04:16, 4 October 2024 (UTC)

Ok nevermind, i found out what happened. Turns out that at least one of the spinning background images we had on this page during the previous months blocks the text, meaning that you technically can't hover your mouse over it. It doesn't really matter either way, someone ended up replacing it a couple of days ago anyway, so i had to re-replace it back. 18:54, 4 October 2024 (UTC)
