Vice President edits

Well yes, but honestly I preferred the concept of a "Vice-President" embodying the vices of a nation over your current rewrite, which I regrettably found nothing to laugh over. I think it's because it's partially true that Vice Presidents (see [[1]] , especially those outside the US, doesn't have that much power; it's sort of like the ceremonial role of the President in countries such as Israel, Singapore etc. where the Prime Minister is the head of state, just as the American President is. Having said that, if you think you can expand on your theme and make it funnier, kindly do so, but I don't see how your theme of a "powerless" Vice President could ever be funny, unless of course you construe the position as the mirror opposite of US Vice President Dick Cheney, then maybe you could get some laughs Ethereal 00:17, 4 January 2008 (UTC)

Thank you for your reply. I thought about the "vice" angle, but for me its too easy a target - low hanging fruit, you know. With the example of Spiro Agnew aside, and Aaron Burr excepted, most of the vice presidents in the US have been mere blips, also rans, etc. I also reasoned that Vice Presidents in companies seldom are merry makers of the sinister either. This one did teach me that small graphics - the part about the Winfrey, Obama, Obama love triangle the image is so small you have no idea what it is. But constructive help is always welcome. I must admit that I didn't read that it was you that authored the article. If I had, I would have given it a pass out of trust. Barring that, what I read didn't tickle me in all the right places, and I feared I had stumbled across another ranting of some IP destined for the trash bin. But there were lines that showed promise, so I decided to ICU it. Now, I don't like the ICU tag per se because I wish there was a less-strongly-connoted tag to serve the same function. Sorry for the mix-up, just note that I (presumably) put a "short" sub in there for a reason, because it's....er....short. It may be better suited to Illogicopedia, just because it fits their tone much more. Still, "I SAID YOU GOT THE WRONG FUCKING THING" made me laugh, so best of luck.
