Found some unblocked proxies

The first is 104.227.0.0/16 which needs a 3 year block per Wikipedia, it's a leaky webhost. The range, however, has geolocations ranging from Anchorage where the spam occured, down to Los Angeles, so please be careful. The second is 209.99.131.0/24, requiring a 2 year block. It geolocates to southern Ontario, particuarly Toronto. 192.227.128.0/17 is a leaky webhost needing a 5 year block per WP. It also has 2 spambots on that range. It geolocates in the Central USA. 193.176.186.0/23 needs a 3 year block, 209.99.132.0/22 needs a 2 year block(though a block on 209.99.128.0/19 may be more tactiful for 2 years), thats all I have the energy for. --Gale5050 complain about me! Hi Cassie, I'm asking you to please not remove all of Gale5050's sanctions when they expire in the next few days. He has violated his sanctions, he has confirmed what I said about why he's here, he made some absurd CU requests/sockpuppet accusations (I know many of them were jokes, but several were actual accusations with little to no evidence), and while his overall attitude and behavior have improved slightly, he still can be very disruptive and difficult to work with. I'm okay letting him vote against/comment on VFH, VFP, Forums, etc. (if others disagree, I understand), and I think we should probably continue restricting his edits to the several categories he's allowed to edit in, but it might be okay to loosen that. But I think it is imperative that Gale5050 not be allowed to warn other editors about vandalism and/or go around telling other editors they've made some sort of mistake. This has always been his biggest problem, and I still have very, very little confidence in his ability to identify vandalism. If you want to allow him to hit me up on my talk page when he thinks someone needs to be warned about vandalism/spam/whatever (or anything on my talk page, for that matter), that's fine, I'm happy to help. I also think we should not allow Gale5050 to make edits to Template:RecentUnNews or anything that ends up on the Main Page. He has added way too many articles there, none of which should be on the Main Page. As usual, I will respect whatever decision you make, and I (among many others) greatly appreciate all the time and work you have put into this. May Sophia bless you. Cheers. Oh sorry, we edit conflicted. I don’t think Uncyclopedia has a good revert definition, something Cassie should draft up. Maybe before putting me on a 0RR restriction, it would have been a wiser idea to say what that forbids, as a revert is quite vague. I suppose some sort of an Iban may be more in play here, that might be a better solution. Also why would I defend a mistake that (1) I probably didn't make and (2) could get me blocked? I’ve done some thinking and I realized something. MrX has a lot of points on reverting vandalism but spam is unambiguous, so there should be an evaluation. I was thinking if there would be maybe a few days to a week with a certain set of sanctions that allowed me to edit more freely, but my contributions are thoroughly examined. Of course some things would still be forbidden, but this would determine what would be a net positive, and what would be a net negative, for Uncyclopedia. Also, I think I am outvoted on the forum for the forum votes, so at this point I wouldn’t object to a full protection and a comment saying consensus is to not do anything. I think by me doing this, it shows that I can admit when consensus is against me, which should be a positive in loosening my sanctions. Gale5050 complain about me! You should have known that was a revert. I don't think we need to get super technical and define revert, or we might end up like Wikipedia, whose definition of revert technically means any edit. As for the spam, it's unambiguous more often than vandalism, but it is not always unambiguous. I don't think anything other than what I have proposed would be net positive for Uncyclopedia. Whew, that was a long one to read. Looking at what is being stated there, even though I do want to grant Gale more opportunities to write articles and contribute in other positive ways, eliminating the entirety of the January 25 sanctions would definitely be a bit of a stretch. I'll draft up a set of "March 1 sanctions" and implement them then; they will effectively supersede the Jan. 25 ones, and will be less strict (Gale has definitely improved!); allowing Gale to perform vandalism warnings and the like would be overly liberal though. Repentance is the first step to fixing mistakes, and I'll keep that in mind whilst doing so. Gale the sooner you work within the limits of those sanctions, stop badgering Cassie to reduce them and make exceptions (including challenge them by asking for a community forum to bypass the admins responsibilities)...the sooner those sanctions will be lifted. Another fairly good idea is to back down once it's clear there is little support for your ideas and consider trying again some time in the future. It's great to be bold and try new things...but it's also good to pick your battles and properly collaborate and find consensus without unnecessary friction. We don't have an "assume good faith rule" but we do have a "don't be a dick" rule. Claiming that MrX has "bias" against you is being a dick and is an example of creating pointless friction. Correct. However, I have evidence to back up his slight harshness([7] [8] [9]), which has even been confirmed by an administrator, so its not a baseless claim. Secondly, there is no position to judge my sanctions when they aren't and have never been imposed. You'll find out how important they are, but if you haven't had them, it's not really fair to assess. I kinda think a good thing to have is, try to constrain yourself very narrowly as I have done. Try so for just 2 days. You will see how hard it is to follow it. I have to do that for 18 times longer. So it's reasonable, after an improvement, to then see more be done. I was joking around about the 50 and the 40, but community feedback from uninvolved users would be nice. The 3/1 sanctions should blend both the strictiness of the 1/25 and the relative leniancy of the 1/18, be as crystal clear as 1/25. I don have access to the filters, but I would say to give the uw-spambot, per UN:BITE. And if they are blocked, they should at least be notified of the block and their appeal rights. Eh, true spambot it is. Perm blocked w/o TPA and w/o tpblock template. Also, it's very easy to distinguish a spambot from a human spammer. Generally, these spambots will create pages with titles with First Letters Of Each Word In Caps, and more often than not hit filter 56, in addition to several other filters at the same time. Human spammers generally won't break filter 56 nor write in such a way. I think 1-2 against votes is too harsh because (1) they take against votes way to seriously and (2)I have tighter standards. So I think instead of 1-2 a month which is harsh, when I vote against, which can only be once a week, I must give strong reasoning as to why I voted against. Reasonable? I understand their concerns but saying I voted against almost every VFH even from 12/27 to 1/24 is pretty harsh and violates AGF, and also the fact that this is a democracy and I should not be constrained especially after improvement. --Gale5050 aka Andrew5 let's talk! I figured out a comprimise. An against vote must go along these 3 lines and only occur once a week for VFH and VFP(including PFP.) It must be on the lines of

1. "The humour/concept/prose/images need more work."
2. "This article is not quite up to VFH standards, and needs more work in....."
3. "This is way to hard too hard to understand".

This prevents any "its not my cup of tea" votes, and over excessive against votes, while allowing me to express criticism without a severe strain on democracy. Looking at it, this filter currently works on a "warn and block" system: any 2nd attempt at creating a page that hits this filter results in a block. As such, it already kind of does its purpose. I'm not putting it directly on "Disallow & Block" because this filter has the ability to create some false positives in particular circumstances, especially if an article is trying to parody things such as "free coupons". 72 hours is a "fair enough" delay; by default forums here on Uncyc are archived after a week, so half of that seems reasonable. I think that that is a good enough compromise. Hey Cassie. Thanks again for agreeing to judge this year. To avoid judges scores influencing one another we will have them send it independently by email (to happymonkeycompetition@gmail.com ). All you have to do is provide a score out of ten for every article for:

• Originality
• Creativity (with the topic, in general etc)
• Humour

You can give a reason for each of those three numbers or just a general explanation (one sentence minimum per article). If you want to give more detailed explanation there is no limit to how much feedback you'd like to give and it is encouraged. I will personally write a full pee review for every article but you certainly don't have to. The only request is that you put in the same effort for every article (unless it is a stub). Have fun and I'll give you, let's say...five days to judge. Let me know if you need more time.
