@Zana Dark: I imported most of them, and they are meant to be substituted: the templates are meant to be used with tools like Huggle or RedWarn, in order to warn disruptive users. However, many of them haven't been modified to work with Uncyclopedia yet (they were implemented just as we were getting started with the Uw system). I definitely agree that they can and should be modified to be much more Uncyclopedia-esque and concise!  Cassandra  (talk) 14:11, 7 July 2021 (UTC)

OK, gotcha... I will keep that in mind for the backburner. I need to understand more about how they are used, but it seems most of that action can be handled with a switch template. Hi. I left a message on WohMi's talk page in reference to this article. He hasn't responded to my enquiry. Medieval Marginalia was written by Sog1970 and currently resides on the Spoon with the full edit history. Question

I changed UN:TRANS, I just want to ask what I did was ok since I don't think xenogenders should be part of the policy since many of them have 0 people identifying as them. Also, I've only seen TERFs say that gender was a social construct.

I changed the latter half to be safe - mentioning that no neopronouns have been generally accepted by a style guide / formal dictionary means that we can just keep it that way. Always better to be proactively inclusive instead of reactively.  Cassandra  (talk) 13:12, 3 October 2021 (UTC)

Abuse Filter

IMO the abuse filter needs cleaning up. It works pretty well, but there are too many extremely specific spam patterns, I think they should all just be merged into a "Rare/Specific spam pattern" section. (15, 44, 52, 61, 62, 63, 64, 67, 77, 78, and 85 would be examples of a very specific spam pattern.) Also, full abuse filter details should be available, spambots probably don't target Uncyclopedia but just go on random "wiki" domains to advertise their website, and Uncyclopedia is on the list. A full list probably wouldn't find them bypassing, since they often use euphemisms anyway. (such as "penis enlargement" changing to "male enhancement") Willy on Wheels, The Fuerdai Vandal. I agree, but I must admit that the abuse filters were often created on a whim to target a specific sub-class of vandals. I could merge them if needed. My main concern (however) with such a merged filter is that it might hit the limit and get throttled; there is an internal limit as a safety valve, but if an abuse filter is hit too many times it can easily reach said limit. Personally I'm not against nor for. As such, in order to balance privacy and transparency, I've hidden your IP on the aforementioned edit, but I have not hidden the edits themselves. Additionally, I won't remove your edits on my talk page, once again in order to leave a paper trail! However, I must insist that no disciplinary action of any sorts will be undertaken. Uncyclopedia has recently been attacked by some vandals and spammers, all of which I'd assume are the same guy. The abuse filter is failing to detect him. I personally think that he should be moved to UN:LSD, and we need an LSD filter as well. Also, there was some guy posting "Pagemove vandalism" on my userpage, which may or may not be connected.
