I dunno. Dicks have variable sizes, ranging from maybe -10 cm all the way to maybe +10 cm. Plus, I'm not sure how many atoms there are per sock. How does Adopt a noob work?

It's more like, you can expect much more help than just a talk pages message. For many requests, you can ask the adopter to have a more through look at it; this may range from say, reviewing an article, to say, template reparation and site policy examination. I haven't received a response about the math parser. The error code is very large, red-colored and distracting. Is this something we can fix or should we eradicate math tags? Thanks again!

This would absolutely require a sysadmin to fix, sadly. I could run a script in order to transform any math on the wiki into plain LaTeX notation (replacing math tags by a nonexistent tag, e.g. <latex>. I doubt it would get fixed within a few months, that is for sure; as such, if math is absolutely required I would recommend parsing the math function through something like LaTeXiT in order to make it appear as a SVG file. Please let me know if you think a stand-in tag would be a good idea for the moment being; its biggest advantage is that it is easily convertible back into math parser tags once a fix is implemented.  Cassandra  (talk) 10:56, 23 May 2021 (UTC)

If it is easy, yes I recommend fixing it for the time being. That being said, if I know how things work around here your temporary fix will quite possibly become the permanent solution. Math is not a terribly funny topic, and the math that exists in articles is sporadically funny at best. Still, there is quite a bit of math tags in the articles I've been working on and the red error messages are all over the place. Plain text is definitely preferable since they are not real math equations and such. A fix would at least make us look professional in the mean time. Let me know if there's anything I can do to help. It certainly is easy, but will require the use of Pywikibot or Autowikibrowser to implement: all instances of <math> and </math> in mainspace being swapped to <latex> and </latex> respectively, exposing the LaTeX source code, is a good interim solution. I am absolutely certain that the sysadmins here will end up updating the math extension one day; as such, keeping the math code integrated (pun unintended) within the wiki is probably the best choice.  Cassandra  (talk) 01:52, 24 May 2021 (UTC)

Unfortunately, I cannot just "dish out" administrative privileges even though you are a bureaucrat on the Bengali Uncyclopedia. UN:VFS is our standardized procedure for obtaining administrative userrights. It's a vote which happens about twice a year; as long as enough users support you there, you should be able to get admin privileges no-problem. Hi there. I wanted to make an account here at the Fork while the Spoon is down for a MediaWiki upgrade. I am User:Dark Web, White Hat on the Spoon (my userpage is temporarily down). I edit only through Tor Browser, so my IP address constantly changes; I was Special:Contribs/2605:6400:d814::a089 a moment ago when I matched the Abuse filter. I followed the LSD 11 description to User:Abuse filter which reads:

"You named an account too similarly to an existing administrator, bureaucrat or sysadmin on Uncyclopedia. If you wish to register an account, please contact an admin (by leaving a message on your talk page), who can get you an account under a different username."

Huh? Special:PrefixIndex/User:Dark doesn't show even Dark Web taken by anyone else. I'm not sure what triggered that.

Anyway, is it possible to get me a username under my Spoon name Dark Web, White Hat here, for consistency's sake? I can edit while logged out, but it may be clearer if I have an account. Or I'm willing to obey the spirit of my block, even if I can skirt technical restrictions. It was an oversight on my end this morning when I updated the filter to be even stricter; I wanted it to detect mainspace edits by a given user on a new page with the same name as the user, but it ended up catching all account creations because I didn't tell it to only look at new pages. Template:Commie Party of Uncyclopedia

This template and all of its related pages are nonsensical. Questionably this was created recently (last year). I cannot for the life of me figure out the purpose or intent here - these pages are not created by the individual users named or in their respective userspaces. The image files are interesting, but not really usable for articles. You've edited this one. What is all this?

It was a joke collection of vanity articles, made by Walbro, personifying some of Uncyc's 2020 admins as various leaders of communist versions of different countries. I think the nonsensicalness is intentional. It could be merged into subpages of SLAPPALLAPPA LAPPALLAPPA CACATONEDITUCAN, granted the contents of the article; however, I do not believe that deleting them would be in the site's best interest (Wolverhampton being one of the most famous Uncyclopedians of 2019).  Cassandra  (talk) 22:09, 10 June 2021 (UTC)
