Child protection policy

Hey Cassie, I just wanted to say that I really like the draft for Uncyclopedia:Child protection policy, especially the policy of revdeling mentions of ages 13-17 but reversing if the user objects, and I also really like the clarification that Uncyc does indeed contain NSFW content. It's because the servers are apparently in Ohio, at least from what the privacy policy (that probably no one reads) says. And as for the rules, I really designed them to prioritize legal compliance and safety first, whilst also permitting autonomy for the users. The 13-17 rule is mainly so users are clearly aware of what pickles they may end up in if they choose to disclose too much information (since most sites don't do so and encourage you to share as much as you can; this may backfire (e.g. cancel culture)!)  Cassandra  (talk) 03:55pm  February 9, 2021

Well, the comment, although not in bad faith, is a little harsh and unfriendly. If I was Contrainer, I would be put off, but not immediately considering murder of all of Gale5050's relatives up to two degrees of consanguinity (lucky him). I stated that it is solely applicable for talk pages of pages you are already authorized to edit. Since New Jersey is a state with a geography, you're allowed and as such did not break any rules, even though I would admit that it is slightly on the harsh side. So, I think it's about time I enabled email so that others can email me if they like. I'm happy to use my regular email address, but it is so clogged with spam that I rarely check it anymore. I've noticed that Y has an email address, y@uncyclopedia.co. Is it possible for me to create one too? If not, no big, I'll just enable my regular email address, check it more regularly, finally go through and click on stop for all my spam, and futilely hope that this solves all of life's problems. Before you blocked the proxies, but after I went to sleep, 50.3.0.0/16 was used for proxy spam. Per WP, it should be blocked a year. VFH and PeeReview slow

I think that for VFH, we should broadcast it via Discord/IRC. This way, we can have more people participate, as many, such as Uncyclopedia:VFH/New York (state) are getting rather stale.

For PeeReview, at this rate, I'll submit more articles then are being peed. I think that we should do a competition-whoever does the most pees in 48 hours wins. I don't know how we'd broadcast it. I know I won't be able to participate, (1) sanctions and (2) most articles up there I created and/or submitted. I guess we can make a PeeReviewer of the month? Go nuts advertising things with discord. We used to have a pee reviewer of the month, but its been so long since there were many reviews per month it hasn't seemed worth it. To give you an idea, the first time I got reviewer of the month I had done almost a dozen pee reviews that month. As for HMC...points are given only per the quality of the articles (originality, creativity and humour). I would also recommend Gale that you focus your efforts on one or two articles and seriously edit the shit out of it (like really put thought and work into it). We're not actually reporting the news. We at UnNews don't necessarily need an article about every single topic in the news every single day. It's fine if you want to write lots of UnNews articles, but don't feel like they have to be published the same day as the real life event. You can take a little more time to make them better. I'll grant you back rollback when your sanctions expire, since it was removed as part of the "strict sanctions". Here's my take on all of this: one userright is sufficient, and we can give WohMi a chance. If shit breaks loose, the ban-hammer is always nearby, so it isn't a big deal. Ok, so 188.26.112.21 needs to be checked out on enwiki to see if it is a proxy. 185.95.156.0/22 is a proxy that should be blocked for 3 years. 196.245.128.0/18 needs to be blocked for 6 months, not because its a proxy but because it is a cross wiki spambot(used for spam on Wikimedia sites), and 93.115.0.0/24 needs a 6 month block as an open proxy. --Gale5050 complain about me!
