- Against. Unfortunately, reading the article felt like treading through molasses: a slow, sticky, and consequently tiresome foray into unfun-abetes. Mightydandylion 07:26, 12 March 2008 (UTC)
- As of now, I must be against. I may rescind my vote if: 1. There is correct comma usage (especially prior to dialogue). Example: "Encountering an uppity community member who can not write, and refuses to contribute to anything constructive, instead preferring to assail and degrade everyone else’s work with rude comments and negative voting." This sentence is funky. It could/should be reworded to something like: "Encountering an uppity community member who can not write and refuses to contribute to anything constructive in preference of assailing and degrading everyone else's work with rude comments and negative voting." It seems as though the tone is slightly stilted...the grammar and punctuation should be more refined to make the effect on more than just the "big words" level. 2. The chapter subheadings are inconsistent (not sure if this is intentional; I'm just focusing on mechanics right now) with dashes, commas, and colons all being used ("Chapter One – Creative Prolapse", "Chapter Three: The Unwelcome Mat in the IRC", "Chapter Four, The Cabal"). 3. - I would suggest that you look at the book Miseries of Human Life [1] by James Beresford, upon which I based this unbook upon. The unbook is written in the exact fashion as the original, and thus an "uncyclopediac satire". To write it as prose with full sentences, paragraphs, analysis as you feel it should be done would make it unlike the original and thus not a parody of original, or Uncyclopedia "in" jokes, would it?
