You've got a lot of people saying that <mocking>"Oh, the days when Mooses and all these other bastards were active are sooooo much better than now and THAT's why VFH sux!"</mocking> I just want to lend my support to the new articles coming up nowadays. In fact, the old articles don't seem to me to be that much different than what's going on now (in fact, 2005 featured articles really do suck). Basically, give your support below to the newbs who are working hard to bring you fresh new VFH paradigms, and fuck the oldies who don't contribute anymore, and if I ever stop contributing well fuck me too.   Le Cejak • <19:36, 07 Aug 2008>

I like what you've done with the place

Speaking as one of those "other bastards", I'd just like to say that I really like some of the changes that have been made. I would especially like to draw attention to an area of my personal expertise: UN:VFD. Back in late 2005, VFD was a steaming pile of feces; admins deleted things when they felt like the votes suggested it should be deleted, 50% of things should have been QVFDed and nobody ever archived anything. I was the first individual to really do anything concerted about the matter and, in early 2006, most of what is currently our deletion policies and systems came into place. Ultimately, it was an overwhelming task and I haven't been around much since VFD broke me. As I've looked at the thing from time to time, wondering how deletions and crap removal are, I have seen things making a steady improvement. Oh, what I would have given to have poopsmiths and other underlings helping me out as they do now. Honestly, if you ask me, I'm in the "we had to walk fifty miles in the snow" camp, not the "things were so much better in the old days" camp as far as Uncyclopedia is concerned.
