Forum:I like Uncyclopedia
There. I said it. No, I'm not ashamed. Uncyclopedia is a place, indeed the place, to write down the odd things that amuse me. Sometimes, it's for the things that annoy or aggravate me (but written with a joke or two to break up the uncomfortable silence). Also, it's a neat place to meet other weirdos. Yes, you are all weirdos. Life will be much simpler when you admit it, if not to friends, co-workers, and family, then to yourself (if you haven't already). Our IRC channel, too, is a place to converse with weirdos in near-real time, even if those conversations with weirdos start nowhere and proceed to then go nowhere fast.
Fret not, humble Uncyclopedians: I've met normal people. Normal people suck. They never put relish on pancakes, nor do they wash their cars with mayonaise and/or clam chowder. They're boring, and while they're content with be so, they're boring to be around. You, fellow Uncylopedians, are rarely boring.
Sometimes, I read the writing of other Uncyclopedians. When I like it a lot, I vote For. When I really unlike it, I vote Delete. Then I go back to writing.
If someone asks me for help, or if they appear to need assistance, I try to help (or I post a non-sequitur, giggle, then try to post something helpful later on).
Thus far, my personal highlights include simple things like making something that isn't funny at all at least a little bit funny, making something that is funny even more funnier (sometimes almost reaching most funnierest), discovering new and exciting ways to fold, spindle and mutilate the English language to make it do what I want it to do (rather than what it's supposed to do), and noticing that someone enjoyed a page of mine enough to leave a comment on its talkpage (that latter point is better, and healthier, than the ego puffery of VFH, in my opinion. Others may disagree. Those people are wrong).
In closing, I like Uncyclopedia. I hope you like it, too. Sir Modusoperandi Boinc! 21:29, 28 April 2008 (UTC)
